I like this stuff! Not the best coverage (light to medium) but it has good staying power on my very oily skin! Love the packaging too. But my favourite part is how light it feels on my skin, I can't even feel its there!

I like this foundation a lot. Very light but buildable coverage. Even when you do build it up to a medium coverage it is still a light feeling on your skin. I love the finish, very natural slightest glow. No unpleasant smell. The packaging could be better. The top keeps popping off in my purse or in the makeup bag. I am worried about traveling with this. I feel that some of the product could easily come out if something were to press down on the pump because of the flimsy cap. I like the ball inside to shake the foundation. I would like more foundations to have that especially the heavier formulas. Overall I would recommend this product. I would not recommend to someone with dry skin or oilly skin. Not dry skin because of the way the foundation applies and dries quickly. Not oily because of the sheen/glow it gives. I would think someone with oily skin would need to blot often.

I'm a big Urban Decay Fan love there product when I saw that they where coming out with a liquid foundation, I just had to have. I've been using the same foundation for 8 years and I'm so done with it for this!! Love how it feels on my face, and it looks flawless! It's not matte or dewy it's perfect!!

I like this foundation but it only suits people with pretty good skin 'cause it doesn't cover redness at all. So if you have a spot or ruddy skin you might want to skip else you'll be piling on the concealer :-( The coverage is on the low side of medium in my opinion.
It doesn't sink into my pores (I have a few enlarged pores on my cheeks near my nose) maybe because I'm using a primer (Benefit's Pore-fessional). In fact, it seems to help in blurring out the pores. I absolutely hate foundation melting and pooling on my skin (many foundations do that on my oily spots!) and this seems okay so far. Didn't really melt on me despite the heat.
I adore the matte finish and long wear (lasts all day for me ) of this foundation so I would recommend only if you're looking for a natural (not thick) finish that resembles skin. Oily skinned people could possibly need oil-controlling products to prolong its wear. For reference, those shades ending with .0 are warm and those ending with .5 are cool. I'm NC15 and using 1.0 which is a good match to my skin.
Edit: Be careful with the bottle! I accidentally dropped mine and the pump broke. I put it in an empty pump bottle and it went bad (smelled off) so I had to throw it away :(

I picked up my Urban Decay Naked foundation at Sephora about a month ago. The packaging is amazing and it is definitely the most eye-catching bottle of my foundation collection.
However, this product cakes like crazy. It collects in my pores and makes them visible from a mile away. It is without question the most unnatural looking foundation I own and even the thinnest layer of it on my face looks disgusting. To make it even worse, this product is only light-medium coverage, so it really has no reason to look so flaky and gross.
It feels sticky and thick on my face. After putting it on, I noticed that I continually was wiping my face... It felt as though I had hairs or something stuck onto my face, but after checking the mirror, there was nothing there but the foundation.
In conclusion, "Naked" is probably the worst possible choice for this product. It feels slimy and looks like clown-makeup, and it costs an arm and a leg. This is probably the biggest disappointment in my make-up collection.

Unfortunately, I broke out like crazy using this. I am an oily acne prone gal and this was NOT for me. The color is beautiful on my skin and it didn't oxidize. The pump did leak a lot but since I won't be using this anymore, it doesn't matter haha.

I've deleted my original review on this product because it was pretty much useless. Anyway, I LOVE UD's naked skin. Its my HG go to foundation now, sorry MUFE mat velvet! What I love about it is the fact that it can be used for everyday wear or even a night out. It's def more a medium coverage foundation but it can certainly be built up to full coverage.
It is advertised as a demi-matte finish which I absolutely love. It gives a very natural but slightly radiant "I have perfect skin" look. The oil control is amazing, absolutely amazing. When oil starts to poke through it looks dewy, never oily but then again it takes at least 5 hours before that happens.
Its a very thin, liquid-y foundation which I really like. It feels very light on the face and looks gorgeous when stippled on with my 187 brush. I also bought the new optical blurring brush (which is amazing btw) which helps provide more coverage on a night out. It's such a versatile foundation, I love it. It covers my extremely red cheeks without ever caking up. I just love love love it.
Oh and I bought this in the shade 4.0 which is a great match for my NC25 skin. Would I repurchase? In a heartbeat!
EDIT: I didn't think I could possibly love this foundation anymore than I already do but as soon as I saw pictures taken on an HD camera I almost died! My skin looked absolutely gorgeous and flawless. Love it!

As someone who breaks out like crazy from silicone in skin products, I should probably never have tried this. (Shame on me for not reading the ingredients list on this one before grabbing a sample.) The foundation had a beautiful finish, was lightweight, and didn't appear to oxidize too much even in 90 degree heat. That said, I'm into week 3 of a cystic breakout the likes of which I haven't seen in over a year.

I got a hefty sample of this and tried it 3 times: once without primer, twice with. Similar results both times.
Pros:
1) Staying power: I still have some on after a full day and I slept in it. It holds up well on my moderately oily skin, and it wears off elegantly, not ugly. VERY little transfer and holds up reasonably well with nose-blowing. (If you rub tho, some will come off, but you'll have some left on your face too)
2) Finish: It is soft matte that stays matte. I couldn't figure out why my face didn't look oily this morning when I got up. Then I remembered I didn't wash this off.
3) Sensitivity: slept in it--no itchies, no redness, no bumps.
4) Coverage: With patience this can be built up to very close to full, but I would say a good medium otherwise.
5) Fixable: This can be blended even after it sets.
6) Doesn't need to be powdered--in fact, best not to.
Cons:
1) Very thin and runny--makes it hard to work with and hard to build. If you want heavier coverage it's hard to get a thicker layer on your face. And you feel like you're using a lot of product. They could evaporate some of the liquid out of this and it would improve it in so many ways.
2) Long drying time--it's just too much trouble to fiddle with on a work day.
3) Highlights textural flaws--and this is the reason I won't repurchase. Even with a primer, something about this makes your bumps and lines more noticable. It doesn't make them look worse, but doesn't disguise them AT ALL. I guess it's called Naked Skin for a reason...
Bottom line: It's a very good, surprisingly-longwearing foundation best for skin that's more oily and smooth.
I used shade .5 and I'd say it's around a MAC level 15, mostly neutral with slightest hints of yellow.

ok, i rarely feel the need to write reviews about anything, but i just had such an outstanding experience with this that I felt I had to share.
So first a little about my skin: I have very oily skin. Oily to the point that its generally oily all over my skin, not just in certain areas on my face. I usually have to blot my face at least once during the day. Before this, my usual go to foundation was clinique acne solutions or maybelline superstay.
At ULTA, a s/a convinced me to sit down and see how this looked on my skin. I was not expecting much. I just wanted to see for sh*ts and giggles.
first off he matched my skin EXACTLY... I've never seen a foundation match me like that ever. I have very fair skin, with slight yellow undertones. I usually have to go with the lightest or next to lightest shades of foundation. I was matched shade 5.0 in this foundation.
so he started me off with some primer, then he buffed this foundation on with a stippling brush. he said that this is best applied with a BRUSH or fingers, no sponges! he topped me off with a little powder, and voila.... i had PERFECT airbrushed looking skin. He also found a
BEAUTIFUL match for my friend who is half black and always has a hard time finding a good shade (fyi she also has very oily skin). we both stared at each other all day and kept saying "Your skin looks soo good" "Your skin looks perfect too!" lol
so let me tell you how we tested this foundation that day....
we went to the gym afterward. we both worked out for about an hour... i was DRIPPING down my face the entire time and I blotted my face with a towel repeatedly. by the time we got down to the locker room and looked in the mirror, our skin still looked flawless O.o weird huh?
I decided to wash my face during my shower, but my friend decided to leave it on and see how much longer it lasted. we went to lunch and the beach afterward... it was 104 that day in long beach.... and by the end of the day her skin still looked so pretty O.o
so in conclusion, I would summarize that this foundation looks much darker in the bottle than it does when it comes out!
it also is a demi-matte finish. i would describe it like satin. its not overly sparkly or luminous, it just looks like fresh perfect skin. if you really do prefer a truly MATTE dry finish, then this one is probably not for you.
I would say that it provides medium coverage, but could also be buildable for more coverage. if you have more things to cover on your face like acne or darker marks, you may need to build it up a bit or use a good concealer. I have enlarged pores and a little hyperpigmentation, and my friend had a little bit of acne and it covered everything beautifully for both of us.
My friend blotted her face during the day (remember though it was 104 lol) but to me she didn't really look too oily, she just looked a little dewy and not in a bad way.
so give it a try, see how you like it. it may work wonderfully for you like it did for me and my friend! :) I will update if I have any issues with it

I had high expectations for this product as I generally do well with UD and also with sheer, dewier foundations. I struck out this time. I generally wear around NC20 although I lean more neutral. I couldn't get a good match in this to save my life. I also found the coverage on this oddly patchy. In some areas I could see pigment on my skin, while in others there was no coverage to speak of. Can't speak to length of wear because it it looked so bad I couldn't wear it out of the house. I will say it had a nice light feel, but that's about the only good thing I can say. This was just a no-go for me.

Unfortunatley I hate this product. I had high hopes because both my sister and my bestfriend swear by it but I guess it depends on your skin type. I have combination skin and it did not work in either area. Where I had oily skin it came right off within an hour of wear and where I had dryer skin it clung too and got cakey. On top of that, they couldn't seem to match my shade. I tried about 4 different shades each being either too light, dark, yellow, or pink. I have been using make up forever hd foundation and that has been working best for me.

UD's Naked is a light weight light to medium coverage foundation. I like the semi-matte finish. I do have to blot my nose mid day, as well with any other foundation that I wear. Since the coverage is lighter, I use a concealer on my blemishes/dark spots.
I was able to find a great match for my skin tone as well among the 18 different shades.

When I first apply the foundation it looks really nice on my skin but I'm not sure if the MUA matched me to the right color. It's a little bit light for me so sometimes I mix it with something darker and it works. The finish feels good, not too matte or dewy. The bad thing though is that it doesn't look so good later in the day if it's covering any acne. I get redness on my face and it gets worse obviously with acne. So as the day goes by I notice that it doesn't cover the redness as well as my other cheaper drugstore foundations. I do like it when my skin is clear though...still I probably won't be buying it again.

I really like this foundation. It does have its pros/cons though. It gives my face the perfect finish. Not completely matte, and not that dewy glistening finish either. It leaves my face looking natural and feeling like skin. I like the pump top bottle it comes in, and the fact that it doesn't have a smell to it. It also has a lot of good ingredients in it which I like. It doesn't cause my face to break out and although its not super moisturizing, it doesn't cause my sensitive skin to dry out either.
Now the cons:Price is one of the main cons for me. I feel like for the price there should be more product, or it should be slightly thicker. Because it is thin it takes a bit more for me to get the finish I like. So I feel like im having to use extra because its so runny. Also, if you have oily skin it does ware off quickly. I have found this to be true on my nose area. And if you have dry skin it can easily accentuate the dryness on your face. So you have to have relatively balanced skin in order to get your moneys worth with this product. I highly recommend using a finishing powder to set this foundation and increase the longevity of its staying power.

I've been using this foundation for about a month and I'm still not completely convinced that it's for me. The coverage is good and I like the finish, I' just not convinced that it's worth $38. I've found that I can use drugstore foundations and get similar results. Also, I'm finding that the longevity of the foundation depends on the primer I use and whether I set it with powder or not. I'm on the fence about buying it again but I'm leaning towards no due to the fact that it's so hot and cold on me.

I do really like this foundation however it is not HG status. I must point out that if you have dry skin, this could be problematic for you. I have oily skin that is dehyrated at times which means I can delevop flakes on my cheeks. If I have any flakes, this foundation will really cling on to them causing a bad finish. If my skin is behaving at its normal oily state, this foundation is great for me. Even on my oily skin, this can feel tight after wearing it for a few hours and comes off as a bit drying. I don't need any setting powder or blotting with this even during a hot humid day so this is ideal for me in the summer. The shade selection is incredible. I purchased #6 which is for olive skin warm and I'm NC40 in MAC. As for application, it is best to use fingers. I found that with brushes, this foundation will leave streaks! There is no time for blending with this because it dries super fast. The warmth of your fingers helps the foundation along. I am very happy that this foundation doesn't clog my pores or cause breakouts. As for the packaging, it is nice that it comes with a pump however the tube feels flimsy and light. When I shake the bottle, I can hear rattle sounds in the cap like something is loose. The pump does get stuck on me mid-pump as well. As for the price, meh I don't think it is worth $40. I mean, it is nice but not in the same ballpark as Guerlain and Dior foundations.

PROS:
* Gorgeous packaging, there's a pump which makes it hygienic and it looks so sleek on my dressing table
* Colour range is brilliant, there are 18 shades all ranging from light to dark with warmer and cooler undertones
* SO lightweight, I cannot feel this on my skin at all. It's quite a watery consistency so you really don't feel like you're wearing makeup
* This lasts me a good 9 hours and when I look in the mirror my t zone looks a bit shiny but nothing a quick blot won't sort out. This foundation looks as fresh as it did when I first applied it. I do use a primer on my nose/chin to conceal my pores but even so none of my other foundations last as long as this one.
* The finish of this foundation is beautiful. The name of this is correct it really does just look like your skin, I don't look like I'm wearing any makeup at all.
* Coverage is medium which is ideal for me although it can be buildable if you prefer a full coverage foundation. One pump is perfect coverage for my face and neck (can't be having a multicoloured jaw line!) and smooths out my skin tone.
CONS
* Urban Decay says this foundation suits all skin tones which I don't really agree with. It goes on really well on my normal/combination skin but I can imagine if your skin was very oily this wouldn't sit too well on it unless you use a good primer.
APPLICATION
I use my Porefessional primer first and then take a pump of this on the back of my hand and then dab it onto my face and neck. Using a Real Techniques buffing brush I buff this foundation in small circular motions all over my skin - takes only 30 seconds and my skin ends up looking flawless!
I really cannot recommend this foundation enough, it feels so lightweight and looks so good. The light diffusing particles means that you get this airbrushed face during the day and if that doesn't sell this product then the ingredients should do it. With anti-oxidants and other anti-ageing ingredients this foundation is definitely my HG.

I'm surprised by the bad reviews on this product. I absolutely LOVE IT. I have it in shade 6 which is a perfect match for my NC 37, yellow toned, BB 4 -4.5 skin. It goes on smoothly with my Sephora # 55 brush and stays semi matte, fresh and clean feeling all day. It feels and looks like I'm wearing nothing. I use 1/2 a pump to give me a little color and even out my skintone.
This is probably not a good makeup for problem skin. It won't cover much. But if you have a good complexion, this will make it look PERFECT. Right now, I'm loving this as much as Bobbi Brown's BB Cream and Skin Foundation.
