I saw and advertisment for this and kind of rolled my eyes because it seems that this would've just been as awful as the orginal Great Lash, butttttt! I think I'm in love<333
Pros:
Great length
No clumps
Wet formula (I prefer)
Defines well
Cheap
Lasts FOREVER! ( 3 months for me! and i go through mascara super fast)
Super black

Cons:
The brush is weird, confusing to apply, but you get used to it
Tacky packaging. but who really cares?

Overall, amazing! This is my HG now and I love it! I'm on my second tube now, and I will continue repurchasing(:

I was kind of nervous to purchase this product (not because of the price) but because I had a terrible experience with the original great lash. The one everyone seems to have tried at least once. That mascara was terrible! But I've seen a lot of people use this mascara so I really wanted to try it and I was so pleasantly surprised! The bristles are plastic which is always a good chance I'll like this mascara a bit more. It takes a little time to get used to especially since the brush is so small and I'm used to wands like lash blast volume! But this lengthened my lashes and it didn't give me a weird length that some mascaras do. It also made it look like I had a ton of lashes! Hence the name. It gave me enough volume and at the same time enough separation!

I have always been a fan of great lash (even though a good portion of everyone else on here seems to hate it.) The packaging of this is super cute, but what made me buy it was the brush. It helps to get the outer corner of my lashes with ease. I feel the formula of this is a little thicker/wetter than the usual great lash, but I still really like it. Provides my lashes with nice length and volume - not too dramatic, but not over the top. Great purchase for me, i'll definitely re-buy!

I purchased this product about two weeks ago. I saw an advert for it in a magazine and I am a sucker for nice advertising XD. So i bought it. I have to say I dont much like it because its clumpy and gives no volume to my lashes! Its not terrible, but I do not think I will be buying again.

Okay, I am not that big on mascara but I can say this is possibly the best mascara I have ever used. I have really sensitive eyes and even have a problem using Almay or Clinique. I have used Great Lash over the years and have recently gone back to the product. It's cheap, it works. Only this time I bought this version with the THIS brush.

I have never had so many compliments on my eye makeup. This made my oh-so-subtle-puny lashes go from blah to BAZINGA! I have more lashes then I know what to do with, and it's all because of this little tiny brush that picks up the color and product and instantly thickens and separates at the same time. I do not need a separator or an eye lash curler.

I will definitely purchase again.

I LOVE lot's of Lashes! Maybelline 'Big Lash' products have proven to me to be the CHEAPEST yet BEST drugstore mascara out there!
First before I go more into my review, I would love for you guys to see the mascara actually on me and another review here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bN2QRe6eneQ
Anyways, so the mascara NEVER clumps and has the cutest applicator. Also, the bright colors (green and pink) make the packaging super attractive and recognizable. The price at my store is anywhere from $4-$6, which is very affordable.
The worst thing about it is it can be a little messy, i.e; Mascara get's on your lid. But that's the only complaint I really have!:)

The worst mascara I have ever used. My eyeslashes clump and stick together and the formula will not hold my curl. I was terribly disappointed.

I've got three compliments on my "so long!" and "nice lashes" in the past two days. It is very close to being my HG mascara. It's a little bit flaky and a tiny bit clumpy. Also, I go through a tube very fast. Otherwise it's basically perfect. Separates and lengthens beautifully with some good volume.

Also I think the colours of the packaging are tacky. x)

I really really wanted to like this mascara but it looks like I'm going to have to toss it after just a couple of uses. First, the good. The nubby brush grabs your lashes and gives them pretty decent length and as long as you're reasonably careful doesn't clump much. The bad is that the fallout and smudging is amazing and not in a good way. It got so bad after the second time I used it that I had to take all my eye makeup off and remove my contacts to stop the pain from it falling into my eyes. All in all this was a disaster for me.

I wish I could give this mascara a 3 1/2 star rating and give it a maybe on the buy again. Its a completely different formula than regular Great Lash, its much thicker and has more plant oils which is a good thing for conditioning the lashes.

The wand is a little awkward to use but it is innovative and works well once you get the hang of it. It does create that winged effect, and the narrow sections deposit a lot of product while the wider spikes comb it through. However, the wiggle at the base trick does not work all that well with this brush. My best method is to stick on old credit-sized card (I use an old insurance card) behind the lashes and that allows me to keep brushing product on without getting mascara on my eyelid.

The formula really does thicken, but it seems to have the same issue I've had Maybelline the Falsies and Colossal, the formula is stiff, and kind of flaky, though not as bad as either of those, probably due to not having collagen in the formula. If I touch my eyelashes I get flakes on my fingers. The stiffness does have the advantage of creating a some lift and curl. Also, this mascara is pretty easy to remove.

All in all this is a pretty innovative mascara at a very good price that works very well. I'm just on the fence on whether this is the best mascara for me. For reference my favorite mascaras are L'oreal Voluminous and B.E. Buxom.

EDIT: way flaky. Plus it seemed like my eyelashes were shedding more when I used it it.

This is such an amazing product for the price. This mascara holds it own against higher end ones like Youngblood, MAC, Lancome and Estee Lauder. The new little pink wand and revamped formula makes for a low cost wonder of a mascara. You must go out and get this as you will not regret it. Best bargain buy in my makeup kit and I probably use it more than anything else in my collection.

hands down , the best mascara ! it reminds me of the lancome hypnotuse mascara . the brush is shaped like a heart & it works very well . if only all mascaras came with this brush. i used this product everyday because it works magic.it seperates your lashes one by one ,even the smallest ones in the corners, making it look like you have sooooo many ! & it adds loads of volume too ! i get many compliments on my "skyscraper lashes" its my go to mascara & for only $4 ! this does wonders. you should at least try it out for the price & realize how much youll love it. i definetely reccomend it ! Maybelline's best mascara yet ! AMAZING LENGTH & VOLUME

Way better than the original great lash, but that doesn't say too much. To be fair, I did like it the first couple of times that I used it. The brush is.. Interesting, but it does do a good job of coating the entire lash. I have to wipe off the brush before using it because the formula is so wet. Usually weighs down my lashes and completely destroys my curl. It does however do a decent job at lengthening and defining. It's also surprisingly long lasting. The deal breaker is that I get spidery lashes every now and then when I apply one coat too many ( usually by third). Not cool. I'm holding out hoping that the product will dry a bit and improve. Oh, but this is a good lower lash mascara since it doesn't smudge much and define well.

This is the best of Great Lash so far. I've tried to like the original Great Lash, but it just clumps too much and doesn't hold curl. The different brush to this particular type of Great Lash makes all the difference in the world. However, I am taking away one lippie because I wish it were long enough to cover my entire lashline. I have to start from one corner of an eye, dip the wand into the tube again, then finish the other corner, which is a little bit of a pain. This mascara doesn't clump, flake or smudge, and it lasts.

I LOVE THIS MASCARA! This is probably one of my favorite mascaras of all time! The wand is difficult at first and almost awkward to apply, but once you get the hang of it the mascara is amazing!!! I have naturally pretty long lashes but when i apply even just a little of this to my top and bottom lashes my lashes look miles long!! LOVE this mascara and would definitely recommend!

This it great! I love it, the brush is small but i like it. My standards for mascara isn't that high but i love it. My go-to mascara each day. It doesn't really clump, and it definitely defines my lashes

LOL lots of lashes. It made my lashes clump together and I don't like the brush. It was hard to apply mascara to my bottom lashes. I only tried it because it was on sale at Walmart.

I honestly didn't expect this mascara to be good - since the original great lash was horrible. I figured since it had (better) reviews than the original and it had a cool brush, I'd try it. I LOVE it! It stays on, doesn't smudge or flake, holds a curl, and volumizes. It also doesn't look clumpy. I really love the brush - the big end works to get the main part of your eyelashes, and the little tip works to get it in the inner and outer corners, and bottom eyelashes without getting it all over below my eyes. I would definately repurchase.

I love this mascara - it's actually one of my favorites. This was the first mascara that I bought that I realized, "Wow, even though I have extremely long eyelashes, mascara isn't a total waste of time on me." It's great - I don't need length, I need volume, and that's what this mascara gives me. It has a nice brush, the packaging's pretty cute (although I did put it on my makeup back and it got pretty dirty.) The only complaint that I have is that it's difficult to put it on my bottom lashes - I'm not exactly sure why. It doesn't seem to clump on my top lashes, although sometimes (however, this is rare) there is clumping on my bottom lashes. I would definitely buy this again.

Maybelline always makes great mascaras and this one definitely did not disappoint! Love the brush shape; it helps make my lashes really long; and, as usual, Blackest Black is the shade I use to bring out my eye color.
