I have been using this since I was in high school. It is definitely a go to mascara if you want a natural non flaking look. No one likes raccoon eyes and this stays on and doesn't clump. It separates nicely and adds and little length as well. I always get the black/brown color and it adds just enough color to my lashes to bold. It holds a nice curl and for just three bucks from a discount retailer you can't go wrong!

I remember using this mascara when it first came out when I was in Middle school.
It was even the most popular mascara at my school and everyone was using it and loving it when it first came out!
I even remember Sarah Michelle Gellar was the model for this mascara and seeing her ad's for this Full N Soft mascara in every teen magazine for months. I Even remember seeing her Full N Soft Mascara Commercials on TV !
I picked up the last one from super walmart a few days ago. Very Happy I picked this up! I can't believe I haven't worn this since I was in 7th or 8th grade!
Looks pretty Good! I most likely will buy this again in another 3 months.

I keep this in my emergency bag in my desk at work. It's reliable & works in a pinch or if you want to make it your staple product. It's an everyday mascara if you aren't looking for a super dramatic eye.
PROS: Soft texture, dark, lasts long, wide brush, and easy to remove
CONS: can't think of any

This mascara has a long shelf life which is good. I would not recommend this mascara if you'd wish for volume. It has decent lengthening, makes your lashes look full, but very natural. The waterproof version is very good too, it doesn't flake, or smudge. Love this mascara!

Basics:
PROS: Dark, long-lasting, quick results, soft texture on lashes, easy removal, no clumping, above average lengthening and volume
CONS: Flakes a bit, too easily rubbed off at times, brush may distribute too much product
Overall, I like this product. I'm a definite mascara junkie; it's my one essential product. Because of this, I like to play around with it a lot and buy many different types. Full 'N Soft is my current day-to-day mascara. I find it to be a very easy formula, one you don't have to think about putting on in the morning, and it'll still turn out fantastic. The brush is very wide and soft: the bristles are the hair ones, and it tappers to a point. This brush really helps create a lot of volume in the lashes without making them look clumpy or ugly in an unrealistic way. The formula is a rich, thicker black that is about half the wetness of LashBlast. There's no discernible smell and the lashes turn out clean, separated, and physically soft. The only true negative is that the regular version tends to flake or smudge when it is touched: as long as your eyes don't water and you don't rub them often, you should be fine. I like this product and would buy it again if I needed a reliable mascara.

Love this mascara! this is HG for me. it dose exactly what it says it makes your lashes appear full and adds volume and definition. i think this is the only mascara on the market that can actually truthfully say SOFT. it dosent make your lashes crunchy at all! there soft and feel like lashes without mascara! i hate that other mascaras make my lashes hard and stiff. this is the only mascara that will actually make them soft which the main thing i love about this product. this mascara makes my lashes look amazing and its not clumpy or drying and natural looking. this is the best mascara Ive ever used and Ive tried plenty of department store and drugstore but this was by far the best. the packaging is simple thin bottle and a bristled brush. no gimmicks needed. love this will keep repurchasing!

This is a wonderful daily mascara, it's understated and pretty. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 is because I do have to layer with other mascaras to get a look suitable for special occasions (i.e Dates, Dinners, G.N.Os)

I care about volume more than length, and this product just didn't cut it. It made my eyelashes too skinny for my taste, but for a nice natural look, this is amazing. The reason why I wouldn't be repurchasing is because I found a mascara I'm happy with. (Scandal'eyes)

I didnt give in to the hype of this mascara for the longest time then one day I had to trade in a bad eye liner for another product. I chose this but in waterproof version. I am so glad I did because it has become one of my two HG mascaras. It is perfection for my sparse stick straight lashes. I curl my lashes first then apply two coats. It separates, lengthens, thickens and volumizes for a classic look daytime look. (And because it applies so neatly I dont need to use my SK lash comb ever! Wow!) By the way I use The Falsies wp (my other hg) for a vampy look. This is perfection in a tube. I see that it has been around for a long time so now that I discovered it for myself I truly hope it stays around because I would just cry without it!

I liked this mascara for the most part, it did make my lashes look fuller, but after the second coat, my lashes started to clump. It was not very good at keeping my slightly sparse, unruly lashes in check. I found that the only way to keep this mascara from clumping was to use it with another mascara. If you want to pair mascaras, choose a lengthening mascara with this one. Another thing I didn't particularly like about it was the smudging. It smudged and crumbled all over my cheeks, but this did not happen when paired with another mascara. This mascara is great for volume, but if you want to get rid of its bad qualities, use it with another mascara you like or a waterproof one.

Didn't realize until I came to MUA how generally LOVED this mascara is, It's my basic, fall back, daily mascara :) When it says full & soft, they're really NOT lying for once! ;D I do find my lashes to be both full AND soft <- and SOFT is not usually how women can describe their lashes after applying mascara Lol! I'm very into the full, fake lashes look (without having to actually apply falsies) so I do 2 coats of this mascara topped w/ 1 coat L'oreal Carbon Black Voluminious & VA VA VOOM! Perfection! But this is ALSO great for those days that you DON'T want va va voom lashes, just an enhanced natural lash look & this does that as well! It's really a win/win. I guess I consider myself a bit of a mascara h00r, I think I own (or have owned at one time..) EVERY mascara ever made in the drugstore as well as quite a few high priced dept store mascaras & there's really nothing else like this. For $6 USD & change, give it a try & I doubt you'll be disappointed :)

This product is a classic, I've been using it since high school. I really like this mascara BUT only when layering with other mascaras. It's hard to find a (drugstore) mascara that both lengthens beautifully and really thickens my lashes. It's usually either one or the other. Full'n Soft falls under the volume category. This does absolutely nothing for length, but it does give me really natural, wet lashes that are full at the base and no clumping.
I have paired this with lots of other mascaras such as Clinique High Impact and Maybelline Colossal with great results. Right now I'm using it with Mineral Fusions Lengthening to get really beautiful, natural, feathery lashes.

I decided to switch to this mascara from CG LashBlast because I wanted something that would /only/ separate and darken my lashes, which are already adequately long. Overall I've been pleased. This mascara defines my lashes without clumping or making them brittle and they remain natural-looking.
On the unfortunate side, I have noticed some flaking with this mascara, although for whatever reason adding multiple coats seems to help with this problem. The other negative is that it's a little difficult to remove considering that it's not waterproof.
Nevertheless, I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a natural-looking mascara and I will repurchase this when I run out, and probably pick up a waterproof one too.

I have only used a few different mascaras in my experience, but yes, this one is effective and my lashes remain supple and have little clumpage. I have repurchased this product several times before.

It's exactly the way it/s named. Creates just enough volume and looks super natural. Doesn't weigh my lashes down. Stays put all day and it comes off very easily with cleansing oil. Some mascara I would have to rub a life time just to get them off. I usually wear this on days I'm running errands, school, and just anytime I want to look put-together with minimal hassle.

I think this may be my all time favorite mascara. It keeps my lashes looking natural but very defined. I've found I can layer it up and it doesn't get at all clumpy which is very unusual for mascara.

I discovered this mascara years ago. I think since I was 21 and I'm 27 now. I've tried many mascaras but I go back to this one. It separates my lashes, doesn't clump. It does make them full and soft! I use the waterproof but I started with the regular formula. It does dry out but it actually works better when it does dry out. I HIGHLY recommend this mascara. The only reason why I've tried others is because I stupidly thought some other mascara would give me a more dramatic, fuller effect but really what happens is just a lot of clumping. With this mascara I've actually noticed healthier lashes. I think it's because it's not harsh on the lashes and it washes off really well!
I've bought this over and over again since I purchased it first!

I really like the Full 'N Soft Mascara. Your lashes aren't stiff and chunky looking. But I wish it had more staying power. I find that it doesn't hold my curl. However, after years of searching for a "perfect" mascara (high end and drugstore) I keep coming back to this. I guess if nothing else it does a good job and is consistent. Bonus is that if doesn't dry your lashes or damage them.
