I really like this product! It goes on smoothly, and lasts 10+ hours when set with powder (this is important to me since I'm in classes all day). Would recommend.

Definitely a cakey product. I felt like I was wearing a mask. The coverage seemed very heavy for what I need. The bottle is cute and you only need a tiny amount, but none of the colors were for me. I had a 7 and it still seemed too light when applied. I had to use bronzer over it. Good thing I could return it to Sephora and get a full refund. On to the next foundation!

I just bought this today! I went home, took off the foundation I was wearing and applied this. Here are my thoughts so far:

COLOR: I am around an NC20 in MAC and I got the shade 2.0, and it is pretty much perfect! But my skin is very easily matched, so you can take that with a grain of salt.

BLENDING: I did not put a primer on underneath this (my primer of choice being Hourglass' mineral veil primer) and used my soho blending sponge to blend it into my skin, using around a pump. It blended really easily and did not leave any streaks for such a thin formula.

FINISH: URG. This is what gets me most about this. I have combo skin, I should really enjoy the demi matte finish but it just grosses me out! I think it looks a bit dull and lifeless on the face even though it claims to be "light reflective". However, that may be due to there being no primer underneath and using a sponge to blend. Hopefully with a brush it will be better.

LONGEVITY: I only wore it for 3 hours maximum, and it help up pretty well. But time will tell when I wear it for a full day tomorrow!

CONCLUSION: For now, I would say I will not be repurchasing, because of the finish. BUT if you like that semi-matte finish go for it!

I had gotten a sample of this and I am super disappointed. I have combination skin and it really caked up. Even wearing this without powder over it, it cakes up on me. I also found out that it isnt transfer resistant and it got all over my jacket. I have a 2 dollar foundation from NYC that works FAR better and longer so this was a big downer. I am SO glad I didn't shell out 50 bucks for the full size. Urban Decay, I love you but please fix this formula!

I was SUUPPPPEERRR excited about this product merely because I love UrbanDecay. The girl that gave the sample to me told me it was one of her favorites, and pointed to her face saying that she was wearing it right then. As I looked at her face my heart sank a little because her makeup was thick and a bit cakey and it settled into her lines.
I went home hoping it would turn out different. I tried it out, and was disappointed. It made my skin look really dry, and it looked cakey even though I didn't pile it on. Thats really the only complaint I had, even the color was pretty good. I tried it for a few days and I still got the same result. But I really didint like the way it looked. Too bad, I really wanted to like it.

I think this foundation will best suit dry to normal skin that does not need very much coverage. This will also work well for situations where you don't need your makeup to last more than a few hours. At first Naked Skin reminded me of Guerlain's Lingerie de Peau, but less expensive and with more color options and I was initially quite excited by it so I'm doing a little bit of compare and contrast for this review.

This is a low coverage formula that feels weightless on the skin (it really does feel like you're wearing nothing, sort of how Guerlain's Lingerie de Peau feels like nothing on the skin though LdP has a little more coverage). I like that this looks really natural. This gives you that look of having naturally glowing skin (once again this aspect reminds me of Guerlain's LdP). But that's where the analogy stops and UD's Naked Skin transforms more into LdP's low rent cousin.

I have oily skin and find that this does not stand up to oil the best even with blotting powder. This also does not last very long on me I usually get about five hours till I see the foundation breaking down and looking patchy. These issues for me are deal breakers since I'm not one to spend time during my work day in the bathroom fixing my makeup.

I tried it for two weeks, and my favorite parts were the build-able coverage and light feel. It really doesn't feel like you're wearing make up at all!
When built-up, Naked doesn't look as cakey as most "build-able" foundations. It does provide good coverage on blemishes, but it doesn't correct uneven tones or redness as well. I found myself building more to correct my skin tone than to cover pimples.
Ultimately, this product isn't great because it just doesn't last. I tried it with a couple primers, and even used my long lasting BB Creams as primers, to no avail. I used powder to set it. That stuff just doesn't want to be on your face! The most I got out of it was 6 hours. There's no way a $40 make-up should only last 6 hours, and that's with quite a bit of primer or bb cream. I have combination skin, so while I know I can be oily, I'm certainly not extremely oily compared to some people. Not sure how anyone with true oily skin would be able to wear this at all.
I do like the anti-aging properties of this, I noticed that around my eyes my skin looked better from using this, but I can get that with my Wrinkle Revenge and MK Timewise cream.
The pump is awesome, I don't know why every liquid foundation isn't in a pump yet, and this one works perfectly, never squirts out too much. Just wish it pumped out something better.

Pros
-Comes with a pump
-Easy to apply

Cons
-Transfers easily
-Only lasts for about 2-3 hours
-Causes pimples (for me)
-Light coverage
-Looks cakey if you put powder over it
---------
This costs about $35 and it was a total waste. I'm transferring it to my mom so at least it won't go to waste. My main problem with this was the fact that it broke me out. I had finally gotten the skin that i've been dying for, I had this on my face for one day and my face is now all broken out on my chin and my forehead (the oily parts of my face).
So, if you have combination/oily skin, I wouldn't recommend it.

I like this foundation. It's natural looking yet covers well. I wish the color range was better for us fair pink toned gals. The lightest shade .5 is waay too light for me. Yet the next shade up with pink undertones is 3.5. It's a bit of a jump between the two. The 3.5 worked for me this summer, but now it's a little too dark and the .5 is still too light on me. If I mix the 3.5 with some samples of .5 I got at Sephora it's a good match. I'll have to decide whether to buy both colors and continue to mix or find something else.

When it comes to products used directly on my skin, I tend to increase my budget. //

Before this, I've only ever used Neurogena SkinClearing make up, but that started to irritate me and become more liquid-like. I've tried samples of Make Up Forever's HD foundation and Nars' as well, but having had those samples for a while, I noticed it became liquid-like and runny in the container, so I eventually threw it out. They also looked very caked-on which isn't what I'm looking for since I do have young skin. //

I tried samples of Naked Skin, a couple in 4, 5, and 6. I used it for 2 weeks before agreeing that 6 was the best color and also that I liked the finish. I ended up buying it at Macy's and after tax it came out to be $41. That's pretty expensive, considering Origins is about $23 dollars and Benefit is about $36 (2 dollars less before tax). But it is worth it. I suggest going to Sephora and getting SAMPLES before buying it. //

If you are looking for something LIGHT and BUILDABLE go for Naked Skin. This is great for those of you who aren't looking to cover huge blemishes but just want to even out their skin tone even more. This is why it is called Naked Skin and not Fake Skin. //

I'm Asian with some yellow in my skin that is oily and acne prone, and this is great. I wasn't ever looking for something heavy (which is why I opted out of MUFE) but something that fools people into thinking I have flawless skin. It does color shine for some time but make sure you carry powder or blotting paper anyway. ~~~ It does NOT break me out! ~~~

One of the reasons why I did buy Naked Skin is because it has very good ingredients. With Vitamin E, which helps repair skin, and some other extracts. You will be getting something that not only makes you look like you have flawless skin, but you'll be getting that much closer to it as well. //

I always set my Naked Skin with powder before I use blush. It gets rid of any extra shine I have. Sometimes I mix UD's poreless primer with the foundation to keep it longer. But both those are optional, I sometimes just wear it by itself and that's not a problem. //

Another good thing is that the pump can be controlled! I only use maybe 1/4 of a pump to dot my cheeks, another 1/4 for my forehead and chin, and another 1/4 for nose or other places, and that's enough for me! I love having the control.

Basically:
Con:
-Expensive,
-Very light, sometimes you feel like you're not wearing anything (good and bad)
Pro:
-Great pump control
-You look like you have flawless skin because its so light
-Fantastic ingredients
-So many different shades

BTW: Half shades have more pinks, whole shades have more yellow, the higher the number the more olive color it has.
I am a Beige in Benefit's, Light Tan in Pur Minerals, and 6 in Naked Skin.

I really, really love this foundation... and I am seriously picky. I have an entire drawer of barely used higher-end liquid foundations. They sunk into my pores, or were a bad color match, etc etc. I have found my holy grail.

My skin is pretty dry, especially around my nose and at my hair line. I am VERY fair iwht lots of redness, and somewhat acne-prone. Cystic acne and I go way back.

This foundation is GREAT for all of the above. I feel so confident after applying it! It is definitely a medium coverage, but can pretty easily be built up with a second buff. It neutralizes my redness and spots without making my skin look like it has tons of make-up on it. I hate looking cakey and fake, this really does look like skin. It is very lightweight and it stays on all day without any problems. I take a MAC wipe to my face at the end of the night before I use my clarisonic and it is always covered in foundation. I found that shade 1.0 matched me perfectly but in all honesty, the shades are pretty forgiving. I could have gone up a shade and worked with that... and I am ALWAYS the lightest shade.

I absolutely love the foundation brush they advertised with this and am so glad I purchased it. It makes applying the foundation super quick and flawless.

All in all, I really love this. The price is right in the market with other foundations of competing brands. The packaging is beautiful and looks very nice on my vanity. Just all around great =D

I have been using this for a few weeks now and I really like it. It took a couple of tries to get the right shade but #2 matches me well (I've used MAC NW15 and Laura Mercier Cream Ivory). There are a lot of shades to choose from and they don't have too strong undertones of pink or yellow. I bought the brush that Urban Decay is selling to go with this and it makes application very quick and easy - works much better than the standard flat foundation brush since the foundation is a thin fluid texture. I also have Sephora's precision airbrush foundation brush which works well with it. If you have a lot of redness to cover you will probably still need a concealer, and I still do use one for undereye darkness, but you can build it up if you use a brush with more concentrated bristles. Overall I would highly recommend this if you're looking for something with light to medium natural coverage and a lightweight feel!

I like this stuff! Not the best coverage (light to medium) but it has good staying power on my very oily skin! Love the packaging too. But my favourite part is how light it feels on my skin, I can't even feel its there!

I like this foundation a lot. Very light but buildable coverage. Even when you do build it up to a medium coverage it is still a light feeling on your skin. I love the finish, very natural slightest glow. No unpleasant smell. The packaging could be better. The top keeps popping off in my purse or in the makeup bag. I am worried about traveling with this. I feel that some of the product could easily come out if something were to press down on the pump because of the flimsy cap. I like the ball inside to shake the foundation. I would like more foundations to have that especially the heavier formulas. Overall I would recommend this product. I would not recommend to someone with dry skin or oilly skin. Not dry skin because of the way the foundation applies and dries quickly. Not oily because of the sheen/glow it gives. I would think someone with oily skin would need to blot often.

I've been using the same foundation for 8 years and I'm so done with it for this!! Love how it feels on my face, and it looks flawless! It's not matte or dewy it's perfect!!

I like this foundation but it only suits people with pretty good skin 'cause it doesn't cover redness at all. So if you have a spot or ruddy skin you might want to skip else you'll be piling on the concealer :-( The coverage is on the low side of medium in my opinion.

It doesn't sink into my pores (I have a few enlarged pores on my cheeks near my nose) maybe because I'm using a primer (Benefit's Pore-fessional). In fact, it seems to help in blurring out the pores. I absolutely hate foundation melting and pooling on my skin (many foundations do that on my oily spots!) and this seems okay so far. Didn't really melt on me despite the heat.

I adore the matte finish and long wear (lasts all day for me ) of this foundation so I would recommend only if you're looking for a natural (not thick) finish that resembles skin. Oily skinned people could possibly need oil-controlling products to prolong its wear. For reference, those shades ending with .0 are warm and those ending with .5 are cool. I'm NC15 and using 1.0 which is a good match to my skin.

Edit: Be careful with the bottle! I accidentally dropped mine and the pump broke. I put it in an empty pump bottle and it went bad (smelled off) so I had to throw it away :(

I picked up my Urban Decay Naked foundation at Sephora about a month ago. The packaging is amazing and it is definitely the most eye-catching bottle of my foundation collection.

However, this product cakes like crazy. It collects in my pores and makes them visible from a mile away. It is without question the most unnatural looking foundation I own and even the thinnest layer of it on my face looks disgusting. To make it even worse, this product is only light-medium coverage, so it really has no reason to look so flaky and gross.

It feels sticky and thick on my face. After putting it on, I noticed that I continually was wiping my face... It felt as though I had hairs or something stuck onto my face, but after checking the mirror, there was nothing there but the foundation.

In conclusion, "Naked" is probably the worst possible choice for this product. It feels slimy and looks like clown-makeup, and it costs an arm and a leg. This is probably the biggest disappointment in my make-up collection.

I've deleted my original review on this product because it was pretty much useless. Anyway, I LOVE UD's naked skin. Its my HG go to foundation now, sorry MUFE mat velvet! What I love about it is the fact that it can be used for everyday wear or even a night out. It's def more a medium coverage foundation but it can certainly be built up to full coverage.

It is advertised as a demi-matte finish which I absolutely love. It gives a very natural but slightly radiant "I have perfect skin" look. The oil control is amazing, absolutely amazing. When oil starts to poke through it looks dewy, never oily but then again it takes at least 5 hours before that happens.

Its a very thin, liquid-y foundation which I really like. It feels very light on the face and looks gorgeous when stippled on with my 187 brush. I also bought the new optical blurring brush (which is amazing btw) which helps provide more coverage on a night out. It's such a versatile foundation, I love it. It covers my extremely red cheeks without ever caking up. I just love love love it.

Oh and I bought this in the shade 4.0 which is a great match for my NC25 skin. Would I repurchase? In a heartbeat!

EDIT: I didn't think I could possibly love this foundation anymore than I already do but as soon as I saw pictures taken on an HD camera I almost died! My skin looked absolutely gorgeous and flawless. Love it!

As someone who breaks out like crazy from silicone in skin products, I should probably never have tried this. (Shame on me for not reading the ingredients list on this one before grabbing a sample.) The foundation had a beautiful finish, was lightweight, and didn't appear to oxidize too much even in 90 degree heat. That said, I'm into week 3 of a cystic breakout the likes of which I haven't seen in over a year.
