I've tried MANY drugstore mascaras and this one is by-far the BEST. It does not clump on, and it really works like a charm. My lashes always look stunning when I use this product. I have long lashes as it is, but I always like to curl them, and with Maybelline's full n' soft, I really get the results I want. I highly recommend using this product.

As a side note, I do not like the waterproof version of this product. It does not deliver the same results as the non-waterproof version. And, I use the "very black" in case anyone was wondering.

Love this mascara. It's great for everyday, I typically use this when I'm just wearing mascara on my eyes and nothing else. It gives you a natural look, but plumps up your lashes and makes them look very plush and soft.

I love the brush on this, nice and thick and with a lot of bristles, but not overwhelming.

This mascara is extremely buildable, if you want more volume then just keep applying coats, I haven't had any issues with clumping.

Overall I will definitely buy this mascara again, I absolutely love it. As an added bonus, I like that it has the vitamin E and stuff in it, too!

This is a good everyday makeup staple. I use this mascara on the daily for my makeup routine. For night time, I prefer something more volumizing, or false lashes...but in a pinch I have used this and gotten some really nice more dramatic looks by layering it a lot. It is extremely buildable, much more than any other mascara I've used. It also leaves my lashes feeling a lot softer than most other mascaras--I have very brittle eyelashes and they tend to break and fall out easily but this had really not given me a problem with that. All in all I say this is a great natural looking mascara and good for everyday use. Thanks MUA community for suggesting it on here, this is where I found out about it.

EDIT: OK, so I've been wearing this for a while now and have found some pretty bad flaws with it. Today I am wearing it and it has only been on for 3 hours and is flaking and smudging all under my eye. This happens pretty much everytime I wear it. I didn't notice so much at first because it was summer and everything would run off my face mid day and I'd have to reapply anyways, and I guess I was giving it that excuse, but now its cold today so there is really no excuse I have for it anymore. It is burning my eyes too from the flaking. I am sad because I really had a lot of hope for this mascara...I still like the softness it provides and it has seemed to make my lashes in better condition....but unfortunately I'm going to have to find a formula that doesn't make me look like a red eyed raccoon by lunch time. Knocking off 2 lippies.

This was the first mascara I ever used and I have to admit it was very easy to use. It had a very natural feeling to it, but not like I put it on and it looked like I didn't. I ended up purchasing it again a while ago after using my friend's (I know, but I'm pretty sure she didn't have any eye diseases) and I fell in love all over again. I wear this school and people compliment my eyelashes all the time! :)

The best drugstore mascara that I've tried to date. It separates, it does lengthen and give volume however not dramatically because it is supposed to be more 'natural'. For the price of $8ish, it's a steal. The only reason why I don't wear this mascara often is because I like a more dramatic look but this is my 2nd fav, very great for people who have long eyelashes (which I don't have).

Out of all the mascaras I've ever purchased, this is the one I always return to. When I search for better, nothing compares. I've used this amazing mascara for the past 5 years and I use it every. single. day. I get the most compliments on my eye lashes when I use this. It is not clumpy, very buildable and does not flake.. It's very dark but still looks natural. I wipe the excess product off of the brush and then apply it to my lashes, wiggling the brush back and forth across my lashes at the base while also twirling the brush as I move upwards through my lashes. (I hope that makes sense!) I let it semi-dry and then apply another coat with the same technique. Sometimes I apply three or four coats! It's all about the technique. I buy a new mascara about every 4 months. It's usually located near the bottom shelf in the Maybelline section. I haven't tried the waterproof kind so can not comment about that. Hope you love it as much as I do. PS.- sometimes when I want to go from a day-to-night look, I apply a clinique lengthening mascara after I've worn the Full and Soft all day and it looks so amazing!

My go-to everyday mascara! Love this stuff. It rarely clumps, gives nice dark even coverage, lasts all day, and holds a curl. Doesn't give me super dramatic thick lashes, but that's fine for everyday use. Minimal smudging and very easy to take off with my facial cleanser.

This mascara was my favorite to use for everyday makeup (since i still attend school)
Gives me the perfect everyday lashes , voluminous yet natural looking and i love how it doesn't make my lashes feel stiff and crunchy to the touch instead it's soft and flexible . Which is very fitting for everyday wear. I tried out the waterproof version and i all i got to say is don't rely on this to be fully waterproof . i found it to be very easy to smudge and with water it's worse. Flaking occurs after 4 hour of wear. My curls hold up well ( i have stubborn lashes). The bristles on the brush easily gets all my lashes and coats them well which defines all my lashes including my teeny tiny baby lashes.

The packaging is very simplistic and straight to the point which is up my alley. I would recommend anyone to give this a go, it definitely is not meant for dramatic falsie effect ,but more of a natural everyday wear and it does a pretty good job at that.

I find this to be a simple everyday mascara. It applies easily and gives a clean finish. Its not waterproof but it lasts all day at work and doesn't flake.

It doesn't extend or thickness lashes so much, it just emphasizes the lashes you already have. I think this makes it a good everyday mascara if you want more of a clean, natural look.

My organic make-up removes fails to removes it as well as this works-5 in 1 cleansing water. It needs something slightly stronger.

Like many MUA members out there, I just can't help but try almost every mascara I see. After seeing a friend's full, thick, jet-black defined lashes I had to know what mascara she used. This may not be new, but I love it for many reasons. For my wedding, I had eyelash extensions and allowed them to gradually shed with my real ones, but then had wimpy, thin, weak lashes. If you have weak lashes, this mascara is ideal because it's gentle, washes away easily, builds up to thick and dramatic even when you let your lashes dry between each coat, and your lashes really stay soft.

i have tried almost every drugstore mascara and this is on top of the best list. its super black and makes my lashes look super full and just beautiful. the fourmal is bit wet but ill live with that for how great it is. it was almost 10bucks at cvs so next time ill pick up at walmart

I continue to purchase this product over and over again and will continue to do so. Please don't discontinue! This mascara works really well with my own eye lashes- it separates, lengthens, and pumps up the volume wonderfully. And it comes in a waterproof formula also which is awesome for humid summer days.

Best mascara ever! I've tried expensive mascaras but even none of them compare! So cheap at $16, and has a really good brush that makes your lashes look so full. I've been only buying this mascara for years now, and I won't stop. Only negative I used to be able to buy it in dark brown but haven't been able to for ages, maybe its discontinued in that shade?

My favorite HG mascara! Im so glad i read the reviews on this site when i was searching for a new mascara. I use to use l'oreal volumnous but wanted something new. I have very thin sparse long not many lashes that are blonde at the tips so mascara is a must have for me. I look for volume not length because sometimes my lashes will touch my lids if the mascara lengthens them too much. I get nice buildable natural volume with this mascara! It doesnt clump. Its very moist so no dry cracky stubbley lashes. Its perfect for daytime cause it isnt over the top. If you wnt a false eye lash look....then look else where. I dont even feel like i have mascara on because it stays so well and dont reapply. Easy to wash off at night. A natural look...looks like i was born with lashe like this! I even have my friend at work on board with this product. She fell in love as well and switched over from her almay mascara.

Well, next to the Clinique Naturally Glossy, but this one's cheaper.

Why why why did they stop making the dark brown? So hard to find a good dark brown mascara.

Love love love this mascara! The best drugstore mascara that doesn't make ur lashes hard as rock, it doesn't flake at all and it doesn't weight down my stubborn Asian lashes and keep it curl all day. But they couldn't done a bit better with the cap, its lopsided.

I love this mascara.
Doesn't clump, leaves my lashes separated and flexible.
Lasts all day and there is no flaking.
I hope they don't stop making this mascara, I love it!

I remember this mascara and how pumped up I was about using it back in high school. This was a great mascara that did everything for you in 2 sweeps. It lasted all day and didn't clump my lashes. Great for everyday use and beginners dipping into makeup.

The good thing about this mascara is it looks natural-- but that's also the bad thing about it. With one coat I wasn't happy with how my lashes looked (basically looked like I ran the brush through it, but didn't actually get any product on them), so I put on another coat and rather than make them more voluminous, I got clumpy, spider lashes. Also the tube dried out faster than my other mascaras.
