It does the job... I have oily lids and it keeps my eyshadows looking perfect from dawn til dusk!! it is liquid and really easy to apply..
what I didn't like is that the first time I squeezed it, instead of a creamy-liquidy consistancy, it was an oily kind of liquid. and I understood that it was parted inside the tube.. after some squeezes it turned out be fine..
I suggest you give it a try!! propably I will repurchuse if I don't find anything else..

So far so good with this primer. I still feel like I need to try it out more before I make a full judgement on it, but as of right now I am satisfied.
Here's a bit of a background for me. My eyelids absorb all eyeshadow- I've always had a problem with it. I have tried three eye primers before this one and hated them all (Revlon, Stay Don't Stray, and Gosh). They just made the problem worse, and creased my shadow more.
I have found that this makes my eyeshadows look more vibrant. I haven't worn this for 12+ hours yet, but I've worn it for about 8 and my shadow hasn't faded/creased. I even wore it swimming once, and I came out of the water, looked at my eyes, and my shadow was still on! (It wasn't waterproof shadow either). So, yes I am very satisfied with this so far. If I find it continues to work, I will definitely repurchase.
Another thing I like about this primer is the packaging- the tube makes it very easy to control how much product comes out.

...What is this? My eyeshadow did not transform into anything more beautiful, & the formula is awful. I applied this primer on my eyelids & attempted to blend it in. Nope...It barely budged. TF Shadow Insurance is the driest primer I've found on the market. Typically that would be an incentive to buy it... but with this, it's really just too dry. Even for my super oily skin. I don't want to apply this on my eye area again because it could be damaging to the fragile skin.
If they made a face version of this, that actually blended in properly - I'd be all for it! Until then...I will never repurchase.

I’ve been using this for a while now and have been impressed every time I used it, but it wasn’t until I brought this to Vegas with me that I was blown away with just how… ‘effective’ it is. I have slightly oily lids and while my other primer that I use for less special occasions works great too, it only works well up to a certain amount of time. But Too Faced Shadow Insurance? No expiration.
I used this while I was in Vegas and I was dancing for almost five hours, sweating profusely, and was almost in a humid environment but my eyeshadow stayed put. It remained looking so flawless before, during, and after the sweaty dancing that you would think I had just put it on. Like seriously, this primer is a life-changer. And it makes my eyeshadow pop. And a little really does go a long way in terms of usage, so I’m pretty sure that a single tube of this will remain forever in your makeup drawer. This is so worth the purchase.

I have sensitive eyes and eyelids and I prefer this primer over the Urban Decay Potion Eye Primer. Both provide the same staying power but unlike the UD primer, this one did not irritate my eyelids.

I bought this primer thinking it would work out great cause of the reviews i read. I put it on in the morning and halfway through the day it creased! A few days later i thought id give it another try and within 3 hours and a half it faded and creased. It was such a disappointment. I prefer my Mary Kay primer

I have tried them all as well...UD PP, Lorac, Lancome (very good btw) TooFaced is up there near the top though just a rung below Lancome and I rate my Dalton Conceal-it a notch up above them all. I am picky. I have been wearing eyeshadow base primer for 15 years before it got "popular" in the last few years. I still think it is crazy to use anything but a silicone based concealer that you can also use for other things. Why spend more money if you don't have to.

I have tried them all, Lorac, UDPP, Nars and this is the best. As it comes in a tube it is the best value, you get more porions of an oz then you do with the tube type like Nars by double. Then the performance is just better, I have used the same shadows with ea of the above and TFSI kept my e/s in place better than all.

It's the first primer I have ever tried n I am hooked..I just don't have the appeal of eye makeup without it. my eye makeup goes on smooth, effortless, no creasing or greasy lids. The eyeshadow colors show up more pretty with it...overall a very good product I must say

I just love this primer. I have been looking for really long time a good primer for my eyelids because they always get oily and my shadows are ruined. I tried Mac's and it was a disappontment. I also tried nyx's, the three shades they offer, and they make better shadows or bases. Also jordana's and even urban decay's but this is by far the best. It seems like it dries and glues the color. Even my cheapest shadow remains intact. I also love the natural color it has. Many primers are too 'white' and noticeable, at least in my medium skin. But this one is natural colored and it's absorved in five seconds. Finally, another advantage is that it lasts ages. Since it's creamy-almost-liquid you don't have to use much.

I love this eye primer. I have oily lids so this helps my eye shadows last. The only reason why i didn't give it all stars was that, you NEED to shake it up a bit. If you don't it'll be all watery.

I purchased this product from a Sephora store and I was very disappointed. I don't know if Sephora had kept this product for so long or it's Too Faced fault for the bad quality. When I first used this product I got so much water coming out from the tube and I just thought maybe because it's the first time getting the product out, but days later it did the same thing too. It does have that brown creme but it's so watery and in the end I just got water out from that tube. I was traveling on that time so I didn't have the time to go back to Sephora to complain. I spent $17 on this product too, I'll never buy this thing again!

Sadly, I wasn't the biggest fan of it. My eyes are way to sensitive for this. When I put it on in the morning my eyeshadow lasted all day, but it burned when I put it on. So sad that I can't use it and because I have it sitting around I feel like a threw money down the drain.

This is my HG eye shadow primer! It makes my eye shadow so much more vibrant than any other primer I’ve used and it stays put all day. I kid you not, Elf is a very close second and it actually dries faster. Too Faced’s version is a little more sheer, Elf’s leaves a little more pigment on the lid. I find applying all of them with my finger works best. Read about all of my favorite primers and see swatches on my blog...

2/2/13 update: knocking it down two lippies because as time has gone on...this product just doesn't seem to work for me anymore. i'm not sure why. i recently tried the NARS primer and it has definitely outperformed TFSI.
UGH OMG where has this been my whole life?? I don't have oily lids or anything so I didn't think I needed an eyelid primer but I wanted my eyeliner to be a little bit more long lasting and non smudgey because I work outside all day and with little kids.
I tried the ELF primer because I was hoping it would become my HG and it was cost effective. That definitely did not work for me.
I decided to try the TFSI after noticing that emilynoel83, youtube guru, uses it all the time and I LOVE IT. My eye shadow and eyeliner stays completely intact throughout the day with NO smudging. That is huge for me. No raccoon eyes whatsoever. Also, the eyeshadow I use for the inner corner of my eyes even stayed on. UM what?? I'd be lucky if that stuff even lasted when I walked out the door before TFSI entered my life.
I also dot some of this on my undereye area before I put on concealer and it definitely helps the concealer stay put longer. Would buy again and again.
UPDATE 7/8/12: i didn't take off my make up last night (i know so bad) after a night out and when i woke up, my eyeshadow and eyeliner were COMPLETELY in tact. i couldn't believe it. it was perfect.

One of my favorite products ever!
The texture is light and creamy, only a tiny amount is needed and doesn't dry my lids out.
Used alone under eyeshadow makes it much more more vibrant but for a long humid day I will still apply a paint pot next. That way the eye shadow can not crease or fade even if you try to. Recommended!

Absolutely perfect! The texture is creamy and easily blends in. A little goes a very long way. While the UDPP makes even my oily eyelids a bit too dry (especially in winter), this one keeps the shadow in place for some 8 - 10 hours. It’s also great as a lip primer. Just a few dots blended along my lip line prevent my lipstick from bleeding and keep my lip liner on all day. Brilliant!

Makes my eyelids look ashy, I know, I must be crazy. I have extremely discoloured eyelids, so I have to apply concealer before any shadow or primer, and when I apply this over concealer, it just has this ashy feeling. Maybe that's why? Anyone know if I might have any luck applying it UNDER concealer? Might try that.
But overall, it does help eyeshadow staying power, but I get the same effect from my NYX HD Eyeshadow Base. I don't have very oily eyelids to start with, because my skin is dry, but my eyelids, for some weird reason do get oilier than the rest of my skin. Anyway, I'll probably try Urban Decay next.
I love Makeupalley! =D

This was my first eye primer, and I'm sad to say it didn't work for me at all. I don't naturally have an issue with shadows creasing on me; I wanted this product more to bring out some of the vibrancy of my shadows. Imagine my displeasure then, when I found that this supposedly 'anti-crease' product actually CREATED creasing issues where I had none before! No matter how sparingly it was applied, how long I let it dry, and how much I 'kneaded' the tube, it always creased. I've tried it on my sister, and it seemed to work better for her, so it must just be my skin. :(
