Odd but this is the only mascara I've ever used that irritates my eyes. I loved the brush and formula, but alas, I can't use it so I won't repurchase. I'll just save the brush for another mascara. :)

I was surprised how great this mascar works from the first brushstroke on my lashes! You'd think that the rubber brush wouldn't work very well, but as you swipe it on, you realize it has reached every single lash and defined them evenly, with no clumping. But besides that, it makes them look longer and they stay perfectly curled. As others have said you won't get a super dramatic look, but the fact that this mascara defines so well but doesn't look litk too much is perfect in my opinion! And cheap! Yay!

The brush for this mascara is an innovation! It does what it says, but the results over the life of the mascara tube are slightly diminishing. I suppose it might work like new again if you clean the brush off. Definitely one of the better mascaras I've used; it doesn't smear much and wipes away easily when it does. It also layers quite well and clumps very little even if you have too much product on the brush. I will probably repurchase this one.. :)

After just about giving up on finding Max Factor's Lash Perfection, I stumbled upon both that, and Lash Exact at the store. Of course, I bought both of them, although I'm not sure why. They're the same mascara, only one comes in a lilac tube, and the other comes in a black tube. (Seriously, not only are they both owned by P&G, the ingredient lists are identical). First of all, I love the brush. That brush design, in my opinion, is the most significant innovation in mascara history since the introduction of fiber-enriched formulas. That said, it's a shame that the mascara that I'm dipping this fabulous brush into isn't up to par. Lash Exact is a very flaky formula. I have never before in my life had problems with mascara flaking off, and Lash Exact flaked on me like nobody's business. Also, after a couple weeks, this mascara started to clump on me, which must be pretty hard to do considering the superior brush design.
I'm not super impressed. If only I could get a brush like this for my beloved Clinique Naturally Glossy. Sigh.

I'm picky about mascaras. For me to keep it, it has to separate, length, not clump, hold a curl and stay on through a thunderstorm. Lash exact lengthens and holds a curl...and that's about it. It definitely clumped on me...not as badly as most mascaras, but it there there. I can't use it without a lash comb. It also feels sticky and heavy--i lost an eyelash, because it stuck to the area under my eyelids. It don't do a great job of separating. For me, it's not worth it. I prefer the bonjois pump up the volume waterproof.

All I can say is 'wow'. I heard some wonderful things about this mascara, and since I've been on the hunt for the perfect one, I figured I'd try it out when my great lash was ready to be tossed. I bought this in very black, and I adore it! The brush does seperate, and it feels better then those other coarse brushes used for mascara application. The formula lengthens quite a bit, and thickens a good amount, but it doesn't look over done. Just pretty, and feminine. I love it so far ^_^

In all fairness, I'm not much of a mascara girl. I have light eyelashes (light brown and blonde), so anything too dark looks silly on me. I bought this because I wanted a new mascara, and this brand had a cool packaging concept (the brush) and came in plain old brown (not just brown-black). The brown color looks absolutely lovely with my blue eyes. It looks great near the base of my lashes, but near the tips of my lashes it looks dry and...not good (splotchy, for lack of a better word). It does flake if you touch your eyes, but it also wipes away more easily than most, so it's easy to remove and wipe away the flakes. The purple tube is very cute, I must say.

I just got this mascara, and WOW! I'm usually intrested in thickening and voluminizing mascaras, but after reading all the reviews about this mascara, I decided to try it. It really did lengthen my lashes ( i have stick straight asian lashes) and somehow curled the ends of my lashes also! totally comes in handy when I'm rushing out the door to get to school on time. I also LUV the new design on the brush. Totally ranks as one of my top mascaras.

HG ALERT!!! I can't believe I'm writing this about a Cover Girl product; I only even tried it because I read the reviews here. I am so impressed with this mascara- it gives me long, separated but not spikey, clump-free, gorgeous lashes that DON"T SMUDGE!!! The don't smudge part is amazing because mascara always seems to end up coming off of my lashes and onto my skin within a few hours, but this one doesn't budge! I mean, my lashes look amazing from when I apply it to when I take it off, and it does come off without a struggle when I want it to come off. Hooray!

I was excited to try this mascara after hearing about how great it is. It's just an average mascara to me though, it lengthens a little and seperates your lashes, it's not very clumpy at all. It just lacks in the thickening area (why I took a lippie off), which is what I'm after. Ok volume with 2 coats, but I prefer something more dramatic. I'm going to try MF LP and see if it's better for volumizing. Wouldn't repurchase this one.

Very good length, although it needs two coats to do the trick. Excellent definition. The product is what it says it is. Although it doesn't advertise as a lash thickener, it does thicken significantly. Great mascara and a surprise from Cover Girl. Queen Latifah looks beautiful in the ads.

This was great... for two tries. Then it dried out and flaked all over my face. It is really, really hard to make me throw out a mascara. I always figure I can use it for a first coat or last coat or on the top or bottom or...

Not this one. I threw it away. Just rubbish.

After searching everywhere for Max Factor Lash Perfection (I wanted to try the Deep Blue shade), I settled on this in Blackest Black. I'm very impressed with this mascara! The brush is pretty neat, but it doesn't eliminate clumping entirely, at least for me. Still, it builds incredible length and volumizes quite well for me. I even get a little curling effect without curling my lashes! I'm cursed with those typical Asian, stick-straight eyelashes. Anyway, it does flake a lot, but it doesn't smudge, even when I cry, which is pretty impressive. I used to use Maybelline Sky High Curves (Waterproof), which still smeared throughout the day. This stuff is excellent!

Well, the word must be out about this stuff, too, because every drugstore display I see is wiped out!. I managed to snag one at the grocery store that was put back in the wrong spot, so it was overlooked. This is a nice mascara, and I really like the brush, and might save it after I'm done to use with other mascaras. I'm not sure why they package the brush separately from the product, but it is a unique looking thing isn't it?? This stuff wore all day with no racoon eyes, and so far has not irritated my eyes either. I will probably repurchase this especially if I can find it on sale. I really like how it defines and lengthens.

This mascara does what it says, separates and lengthens. A huge bonus for me is that it doesn't smudge but can still be removed easily with water. The packaging is really nice and cute. However, if you are looking for thickening properties, then this one isn't for you.

I'm always looking for the perfect mascara, and like one of the other reviewers said, I often find that I like the drugstore mascaras much better than the department store mascaras (except Lancome makes a wonderful formula). This is definitely my HG mascara. It's absolutely wonderful! I have about medium length lashes with a little natural curl. My biggest problem with mascara is finding a formula that doesn't clump and stick all of my lashes together. No clumping on me with this one, and it leaves me with beautifully long and seperated lashes. I absolutely love the brush, and besides coating every lash on the top, it makes it very easy to single out the little lashes on the bottom lid and give them some color and length. One coat is beautiful for day, a few more coats, and I get the kind of dramatic lashes that I used to only be able to get with a few little individuals stuck in. Great stuff!

I normally use Max Factor 2000 Calorie mascara - I have straight, not-thick-at-all lashes and I love how it makes my lashes so lush and full but it's TOO dramatic for daytime/office wear... I've been dying to try MF LP but just haven't gotten around to it because of the reviews saying the formula was too thin... so I could not contain my excitement when I saw the very cute Lash Exact tube at Rite Aid. How cute were the little purple bristles? Now, I'm usually very wary of CG products but I decided to give it a shot... $8 later (I knew I should have picked it up at Walmart!) I am thrilled! My lashes are thicker, fuller and seperated but not over the top for the daytime! I will definitely buy again! :)

First off let me say that this is NOT waterproof or water resistant at all! I went snowboarding with this and of course there was some snowing...and this SMUDGED,RAN and SMEARED like crazy. It wipes away really easily with water and a tissue paper, but i wouldn't be wearing this mascara if i went snowboarding again. Aside from that.. i really LIKE this mascara!! it DOES what it claims, LENGTHENS and SEPARATES!!! i got this in blue thinking it would be similar to the CG FL blue, but THIS one is a darker blue.. almost a blue-black. But i totally would repurchase!! no clumping or anything.. just don't wear if you're gonna be in rain (or snow) for long periods of time where you face might get wet.... i guess i would buy the WP version for that. =) *thumbs up*
