Wow-I honestly feel dumb for having kept this in my makeup bag without using it for about a month! Today I applied and got a compliment from strangers about how great my lashes looked-all thanks to this mascara! My lashes are naturally black and long but stick straight and this gives them some more volume. The only minor problem I have is with it holding a curl. After I apply this mascara I have to go back and curl again-but that's no biggie for the exchange I get. Love this mascara-go buy it!

This has become my #1 all time FAVE mascara - I used to use Dior Black Out Black with Dior Show Black - then 1 day I couldn't justify spending $90AU on 2 mascaras so I went & bought this one on sale for $11AU & guess what - it did exactly what the Blackout Black & Diorshow Black did at a fraction of the price!!!! It fattened my lashes, gave great colour & made my eyes pop.
I'm super impressed with this mascara & have been buying 4 tubes in 1 go each time it's on sale - I'm so in lurve with this mascara!!!! Definitely lets me splurge on more important, more expensive products such as my SK-II skincare.

I think this is a really nice mascara. It separates my lashes well and builds the thickness up a bit. However, it isn't the greatest at holding a curl, so I put Prestige My Biggest Lashes underneath this becasue MBL holds a curl like no other. If it wasn't for that, this mascara would definitely receive a 5. I really love the brush, by the way.

I tend to like a lot of Cover girl mascara's because their affordable and overall not bad products for being as low priced as they are. This one to me is alright. Nothing great, but you just can't go wrong with Cover girl mascara's unless you buy the eyelight mascara.

This is my favorite mascara. Even more than Lashblast right now. I love the brush, I love the colour tint. Packaging is cute too.
This makes my lashes look sooo nice. They're kind of sparse, especially the bottom, but this mascara makes them so full. I love this product. Definitely 5 stars.

I gave this CG mascara a bad rating, because although I really really liked the results from this mascara, after a couple months, most of my eyelashes fell off! It took over a year for my eyelashes to grow completely back, which is why I will never buy this mascara again.

This is my go to mascara. My favorite is in very black or black brown - they have different degrees of blacks and browns, so it's easy to find the color you're looking for.
The brush is a rubbery material with a spikey shape, which separates lashes really well. If you want a curling mascara though, I wouldn't choose this one.

What is it with CoverGirl and their mascaras?! Why can't everyone take a page from their book?
This is the third CG mascara I've tried, and they've all been excellent (my HG mascara so far being CG Professional). They are particularly good in the non-clumping department. For some reason all other brands of mascaras seem to fail me there.
The Volume Exact does what it says on the tin, it gives your lashes volume without the clumps. Very very pleased, especially at the price. I have long lashes that clump easily, which means I have to wipe most mascaras on a tissue before using them, comb my lashes after application, and I STILL get clumps. No such problems with this one, even when brand new and covered with the stuff.
This could easily become my HG mascara along with the Professional, but I'll have to give it a go for a few weeks before confirming. If nothing else, it serves as a reminder for me to never use any other mascaras than CG! Why oh why are they not available in Europe? :(

I'm just as happy with this mascara as any others I am happy with (Boots Volume, Dr Haushka (best so far)). Have yet to find a HG mascara...
My lashes are sparse but relatively long and are naturally curly. The ends are paler but not blonde and my lashes are dark brown. So I am not looking for a mascara that curls or lengthens. I am looking for a mascara that darkens, doesn't clump (which creates MORE space between my lashes), doesn't flake, doesn't irritate my eyes (laser surgery) and is relatively easy to get off. This fits the bill and is cheap.
However, have to see how long this lasts before starting to clump. High hopes for this cheapie. The brush I find does the job. It does a pretty good job defining the lashes and is, I thought, well - exacting.
So if you have lashes like mine, then give this a go.

I have this in brown. Its not horrid but also nothing special. I also find that the bristles because they're like plastic or rubber they are a tad irritating when you try to really get them down at the root of the lashes. But, given time using wands like this, you end up getting used to them. I don't find that this really does much of anything except give a tad of thickness to my lashes. I never put it on, looked in the mirror, and went "WOW!"...so this isn't a product I'll be repurchasing. I also find that I have to keep layering to get the color to where it needs to be, granted, that could be because I don't have this in black and brown IS a color harder to get to work, generally. Over all, though, I wouldn't repurchase. I have found many other mascaras that I DO enjoy the final product of the look.

My original HG mascara, before I switched to Maybelline Full 'N Soft, and THEN I switched to CG LashBlast. I found this really good, doesn't clump, doesn't smudge, thickens. However, I switched to Maybelline because I found that the Maybelline mascara gives fuller lashes. I'd still recommend this though! The only thing I don't really like about it is that the bristles are kind of stiff, but you get used to it. But when I use other mascaras (which usually have softer bristles), and then use VolumeExact again, I'd find VolumeExact a bit irritating because of the bristles.
But still, one of my all-time favorites.
I alternate between VolumeExact, Full 'N Soft and LashBlast often :) they're the best mascaras I've ever tried.

This mascara is not bad. it does lengthen a bit,and also adds some volume. At first i was not impressed, and then i decided to give this another try. This is a good drugstore mascara.

This is great when I want depth and coverage. I get a lot of compliments when I use this after I've been using Latisse for a while. People say my lashes look fake...
Since it's cheap and doesn't bleed down my face by the end of the day- I'd say it's a keeper. Since no mascara is perfect and results vary daily- I'll use it till it stops working for me.

I prefer to have BIG volumous lashes and this didnt do anything amazing for me. I've already got long lashes but i want more volume, so i'm always searching for the perfect mascara to give me loads of volume. This didnt do that for me, but i liked how it didnt clump AT ALL and is easy to remove. I'd say its an okay daily mascara, not for that 'false lash' look. I wouldn't buy this again, you can find other drugstore brands that offer more volume.
UPDATE: never thought i would give this a good rating, but i've changed my mind! This is officially my everyday mascara, and as it doesn't give me loads of volume what i like about it is how it doesn't clump, doesn't give spidery lashes and doesn't flake off.
It gives me natural looking lashes and you can't tell i have mascara on. FAB. I don't think i'll be repurchasing tho as i want something with a tad more volume, but this is still a good one.

I was pleasantly surprised by this mascara. It did not smudge or clump at all. The reason why it didn't get 5 lippies is because I think L'oreal's Voluminous mascara is still better at volumizing. Occasionally, I will apply L'oreal's on first, and top it off with CG's Volume exact, to get the best of both worlds. It seems to work well. As for mascara removal, I find that using a couple of drops of coconut oil will do the trick.

Very nice. I find it to be a very similar product to Lash Exact and Lash Blast, both by CG. No clumping, flaking, smudging. Gives nice long, full lashes. I like the intense black. Washes off very nicely with regular facial cleaner. I prefer the Lash Exact's skinnier tube and dislike the Lash Blast fat tube. I also find Lash Exact to be a teeny bit more lengthening and perhaps Volume Exact is more thickening, but the differences between the two are nearly imperceptible. I will continue to purchase all of these based on whichever is on sale. I am very pleased with these mascaras for me.

Ummm....I don't understand some of the negative reviews on this product because this mascara is my HG!! For YEARS I struggled with finding the right mascara to "unclump" my curly lashes, to no avail. I would see all these girls with their lashes defined, and I couldn't understand why mine were always sooo clumpy! This works wonders...I start with my shu uemera eyelash curler, then put one coat on each eye (Black) then add another coat in Very Black (I generally go for this much drama when I'm out for the night...if I'm at work I just do two coats in Black). I basically start from the base and pull out. But this makes my eyes POP and I can see the difference in pictures because my eyelashes are just like WOW and they make my eyes so big and bright! AND they're Defined, and for ONCE I don't need an eyelash comb to define them-I just use the mascara brush to go back and define. Awesome product...and a great price too!!!

i tried this about 2 years ago. i used it twice and i ended up throwing this out. i got this on a whim without reading any reviews since it's dirt cheap anyway, what a waste of money though.. could have used that for something more worthwhile. the formula is very watery and it got on my eyelids easily since the brush isn't that small either. it clumps a little too much even though i was applying it the second time. i wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

I didn't like this the first time I tried it, but I tried it a couple more times and I actually like it. It can clump, so you just have the work with it, but it's worth it. It gives me super dark and defined lashes.
