Sticky and slimy, it nonetheless "does the job" of making frizzy hair stick together. However, my locks were clumpy and dull, not bouncy and shiny. Bought it twice, the packaging leaked both times.

I used this product for a month with no results. My hair is half straight (in front) and half curly (in back). So I try to make it one or the other. I ended up just wearing ponytails all day because it could not keep my hair from going freaky.

Actually made my curly hair frizzier and more difficult to control. Made blowing it out next to impossible - the curls/waves just refused to straighten and instead just puffed and frizzed. Makes curly hair out of control instead of the other way around and even imparts a dried out/damaged look to the hair. Other products designed to control and smooth the hair (even the cheapest ones) either outdo or are comparable to this product. Huge disappointment.

Did nothing for my poofy, frizzy permed hair. But I gave it too my friend who has finer hair than I, and she liked it.

Wasn't impressed. My hair is extremely frizzy, and this barely helped. I found a much better frizz serum at the local beauty store.

I bought this straighting serum after deciding to grow out my super short hair style. I have natural waves and bends that cannot really be called curls, and wanted the super straight look on my chin length inverted bob. It works great, if I wasn't so picky I probably could get away with only this product and some hair spray or wax on the ends, but i usually blow dry, and then use my Chi Iron to smooth out any hint of waves or bends. This product does exactly what it advertises and I will buy it agin. An extra plus is that it is one of the only straightening serums that does not contain pantanol, which makes my scalp itch horribly. I really love this product! I recommend it to anyone who wants super straight hair.

Product did not work for me when I tried to blow my hair straight. Found something much better for less cost. I am a fan of bed head but this wasn't for me. It did combat the frizzies when I left my hair curly (which I seldom do-- therefore I will not purchase again).

I love this product! I have fine, naturally wavy and frizzy hair. I've used this when blowdrying, and it keeps my hair really soft and tamed the frizzies. I also like to use it on days when I don't blowdry, I get defined and smooth waves.

This diminishes my frizzies well, but didn't straigten my hair at all. Then again, maybe you need to use a blowdryer with this for it to work, and I never do. HOwever, when I use Biosilk's silk theraphy, I don't blowdry my hair and my hair dries straight!

I did not like this product at all. It left my hair dry looking, but greasy feeling. Not nice. Additionally, it did not really make my hair any straighter, shinier, or less frizzy than before. Ihad high hopes for this stuff because it is a pretty blue glittery color, but it just didn't work for me.

I stopped fighting the power and decided to be the curly head that I am. Control Freak keeps my curls defined and frizz free. This is so concentrated that a bottle last me about 8 months. Thanks to control freak my hair is manageable and I don't miss my blow dried hair.

This is not as good as redken glass(this is more of a gel than a serum),but the price is a lot more reasonable for $16 you get a 9oz bottle.I will probably buy this again

This is probably the best straightening gel I've ever used. I'm a bozo though and bought a bottle of this and then a week later, I chopped all my hair off on a whim. I'm planning to save it for when my hair grows out or for days when my now short curly hair is untameable (miraculously, I haven't had one of those days yet!). Anyway, this stuff smells good -- very subtle -- and it has little bits of mica in it to give your hair a soft sheen. It makes your hair superstraight. You have to be careful not to use too much or it can leave your hair flat and give you styling product buildup (it can be slightly sticky), but other than that (and its horrendous price -- usually around $17) it's a wonderful product. A bottle also lasts a fairly long time. Before I cut my hair, I'd been using it for about two years and only went through two bottles.

I'm not impressed with this product at all. It doesn't do too much for my frizzies and it makes my hair clumpy. Also, it makes my hair feel like it's coated. Thumbs down.

This works pretty well to keep my hair straight and frizz free. I think it's a bit too pricey since drugstore straighteners work just as well for my hair.

I got this as a bonus when I bought the Control Freak Shampoo & Conditioner. It didn't really do much for me. I wasn't fond of the smell (to me - apricot jelly - ugh), and it only marginally helped me style my hair. Not a horrible product but definitely not a re-purchase.
