This foundation is great for me. I wear it in light-medium, which is aimed for a more tan complexion. The product is SUPPOSED to look a tad "shiny" i'm assuming the other reviewers are referring to the sheer, natural dewey complexion it gives off. It's an extremely natural look, and goes on great. I love spf foundations, because I burn really easily on my face. The color is a little orange, but if you rub it in well, the orange tint dies out. I'd buy this again and reccomend it to anyone with sensitive skin looking for a natural look.

Shade selection is pathetic. Orange, greasy, shiny! If that's what you're looking for in a foundation, then this is for you! Yuck! It's going back to CVS tomorrow!

IT IS HORRIBLE!!!!! I got my shade and I look like greasy orange when I put this on. This is just pure oil. Please avoid if you can.

This product disappointing. It felt and looked greasy on my skin and there is just way too much glitter! The colour wasn't even right! :(
I would not buy this again!

I would likely not buy this again, although the reason has nothing to do with the product itself. I like this very much. But I've been doing some research on SS and one of the SS's in this causes damage to skin tissue when exposed to light. Odd, since that's the OPPOSITE affect it's supposed to have. The product itself is quite nice and I would have kept using it if not for that one particular indredient. Oxybenzone. See the Wiki link below.

It's an alright product. Most people say this foundation makes them look greasy, but it makes my skin look dewy. This is really sheer just like the name of the product says. The medium shade would be extremely dark for me if it was like a real non-sheer foundation, but since it's sheer, it kinda blends in and makes me look tanned! I have a full new tube I bought like last year when I was really into it, but havent used it yet. I think I'm gonna start wearing it in the summer.

Will not be getting this product again. I am very fair and the lightest "tint" they had was still 2 shades too dark.. nonetheless, I tried it anyways and left my skin looking too glowy and very shiny.. not worth the cost of about $10 or so.. cant remember exactly, but know it wasnt too too cheap.. Will not recommend this to anyone and honestly cannot see who would like this, sorry.

I know no one else seems to like this product, but after trying every single foundation under the sun, (or at least available at CVS), this is the only one I keep repurchasing. It's lightweight and spreads evenly and easily and when I use it under the Sheer Minerals Powder Foundation my skin looks so smooth and flawless (which I thought I would never be able to say). I also like how long it stays on- I work in a restaurant and at the end of my shift, after 8 hours of running around the dining room and through the hot and steamy kitchen, it's still there.

This has a very small amount of coverage, but is great to use in the summertime. I would only recommend this for a person who has near-perfect skin - does not cover much, but leaves a fresh, dewy look.

i bought this because i was looking for something with a dewey finish that would give me coverage between a tinted moisturizer and a light coverage foundation. it looks good indoors, but when i get outside and look in the mirror it literally looks like i am wearing NO makeup, at all. it also makes my skin look kind of greasy and it never feels like it's dried. i'm sure if i put a shirt on over this makeup, it would be all around the collar instead of staying on my face like a good foundation should. it also has a slightly orange look to it on my skin, like right out of the tube before it even has a chance to oxidize. i don't understand.

PRICE: Affordable = 3/5. It cost me about $12.00 I think. However, for the price, it isn't worth it.

PACKAGING: Good = 3/5. I like squeeze bottles better than screw-top glass jars, since you can get out a little at a time.

COLOR MATCH: Well, it matched = 2/5. It seemed to blend in with my skin tone.

APPLICATION: Easy, but... = 1/5. I applied it with a sponge. However, it goes on greasy.

APPLIED: Horrible = 1/5. This is not a foundation to me, it's more like a tinted sunscreen. It didn't cover ANYTHING and was really greasy and gave me uncontrollable shine. Gross!

LONGEVITY: Bad = 1/5. You can't even tell you're wearing it, let alone be able to tell if it came off during the day =P

OVERALL: Would Never Buy Again. Doesn't work, period.

I didn't like the shimmer they added into this product, it sunk into my fine lines and made me look OLDER! I like the fact that it had spf30 and the application was easy.

i use this as a tinted moisturizer more than a foundation because i think that is what it really is. i love it for that purpose, i find that it is 100x better than HSE by neutrogena, providing sheer, glowing coverage to my face without drying it out or even feeling like i am wearing makeup at all! i definitely love this.

EDIT: I do not have acne prone skin, nor have I ever really had an allergic reaction from a makeup before. When I tried this on I put it on the left side of my face and neutrogena's HSE on the right side, so I could compare the two. The next day the left side of my face had maybe 10-15 very tiny looking pimples, they almost looked like clogged pores but pimples. I don't really know how to describe them because, like I said, I am not prone to acne nor really any skin issues except having really dry skin. This is a shame really, I liked how this product worked on my skin, until it caused it to freak out, that is.

this product really impressed me with it's ability to provide absolutely no coverage and be profoundly invisible and yet still manage to leave a greasy orange tinge all over my face.
mix some petroleum jelly with some carrot baby food and smear it on your face for the same result.
nasty.

I have been struggling with this product for a few weeks and finally just gave up on it. It has been difficult for me to apply evenly and not flattering on my skin. I find the color too orange and lacking in coverage.

I also tried blending it with another frustrating foundation product (one that is too light and makes me look pale, but has more blendability.) Unfortunately, the experiment didn't work.

Perhaps I've just purchased the wrong product for my skin type, but I don't know that the non-even application would work for anyone's skin.

I would not purchase this product again. I finally broke down and make a trip out to the mall (Eww) to stop by the Dior counter for a pricey, but very user-friendly and natural looking foundation.

I love this as an everyday foundation. It does exactly what it advertises, which is a lot to ask of a drugstore makeup product. It provides a healthy glow to the entire face that pretty much negates the need for bronzer. (I'm very pale, so I hate using bronzer as it looks dirty on my skin.) It also does a good job at covering come redness on my cheeks without whiting them out completely.

That being said, it does not cover a whole lot, so it's best used on skin that doesn't have a big problem with acne. But it says "Sheer" in the name, so I'm surprised at all the reviews expressing that they wanted more coverage. The barely-there pigment is perfect for me for school and the weekend. I do use more matte makeup on my T-zone for performances and special occasions.

This product is perfect for someone who has pretty good skin in the first place and wants to show it off. I'm very, very satisfied.

I found this, practically un-used in my vanity drawer. Tried it for the second time-CRAP, absolute crap. Didn't cover a thing! I think the back of the tube had something stating how the product provides a "natural finish"-if natural means all your imperfections glaringly staring back at you, they got it right. What's worse is the greasiness-so my imperfections are not only on display, they're highlighted! The only good thing is the SPF, but the coverage is so bad, I won't even be using it for that. I'm ticked about paying a fairly high price (for drugstore makeup) as well. Adding to my hatred of this product, I'm pretty sure that the cystic zit emerging on the side of my nose was caused by wearing this. Thumbs down, way down.

This formula is greasy feeling on your skin, and extreamly sheer, practically no coverage or color really once you apply it to the skin. The high SPF BURNS around the eyes, and that is where we need to put it. I think I paid 12.00 for this which I thought was too much but I was attracted my the "glow" and "sheer" with SPF30 and being oilfree. After a few uses it went in the trash. It actually made my clean face appear dirty, the coverage was really blotchy and unless you have flawless skin this will happen to you because it sticks to dry spots and makes them much more noticable. I don't recommend.

I really wanted to like this. Sure, it wasn't much of a foundation (as the name suggests, it's very sheer), but it seemed to be a pretty good tinted moisturizer in a sanitary, easy-to-use squeeze tube. I got this in light to medium and it just made my face look dirty and shiny/oily. Maybe the color was too dark for me (got it in winter, after my summer tan faded), maybe the undertones were too orangey. I'm pretty sure if the color matched, I would've gotten a more glowy/dewy effect instead of shiny/oily. Either way, I'm not going to repurchase.

Im surprised that this got bad reviews.I really like this, I have it in bronze. I use this as a tinted moisturizer. It gives me a nice glow, and it looks great under powder. I haven't broken out from it and it doesn't leave my skin an oily mess hours later.
