I have this in Peaux Mates/Halees 52. This is a great bronzer – I’m loving all the Bourjois products I’ve purchased during a spring make over I got. I’ve been looking for a new bronzer – I’d been buying The Body Shop shimmer strip bronzer, which is a great product, but too shimmery for me now. At my Bourjois makeover she used this cute ‘chocolate box’ of bronzer, shaped like a chocolate bar in a wonderful little sleek book-like container with a magnet closure. It says it has “hints of sunshine” in the bronzer and you can see little glittery bits in the powder. But it doesn’t show up glimmery on the skin. What I like is the colour is great without being muddy, and not too shimmery and not too flat. Plus it smells delicious! Love it!

Im quite fair but I feel this gives a nice hint of colour, making me look healthy without looking unatural (when applied correctly with a light hand). Another good point is that it doesn't contain huge chunks of glitter like some bronzers. It also has a yummy smell which makes it a pleasure to put on.

This is my second one of these bronzers and its fab! Great for contouring or just puting all over the face for that sun kissed glow, this bronzer has litttle flakes of gold in it, but its nice a fine and you dont look all sparkly. This has a really nice smell to it which i loved.

I have this in Peaux Claires/Medianes 51 and I use this for contouring my cheekbones and nose and it makes a huge difference.
The product is very soft and goes on smoothly with lovely subtle glints and has a heavenly coconut/chocolate smell. It will last long when applied over a good base. Don't expect it to last forever otherwise.
Lots of product in a cute compact packaging for a good price.
Since I contour with it rather than bronze myself, I will consider other contouring products before repurchasing. As for it being a bronzer, I'll surely repurchase!
UPDATE: Tried MAC's accentuate/sculpt and I have to say it works so much better than this one regarding contouring. I should also say that over applying this bronzer will make you look very orange so watch out.

I went into Boots looking for this product as my friend had it, and i loved it. The only shade boots in my area actually sells is 52. They don't have any other shades at all so i had to go for 52. It's a tad dark for me so a little goes a long way. Therefore, mine will last longer. It smells gorgeous, and makes my face smell really nice :)
I bought mine for about £6 or £8 which is a little pricy compared to other bronzers but the packaging is great. It has light magnets to prevent the packaging flopping open and it comes in a neat little thin cardboard but attractive packaging, making it perfect to fit in your handbag.
Go for it! :D

This is a great bronzer.....i have very pale skin so once i apply my makeup i dust on some of this bronzer on my neck and chest to even skintone.this also looks beautiful if used on the cheeks to add warmth to the face.I used to use rimmel sunshimmer but this bronzer is much better. The packaging is great, as i have let it fall numerous times and it has never broke....it is very inexpensive and lasts ages. I will definitely be repurchasing!

I like this bronzer, it smells lovely and packaging is so cute! On my medium/olive skin it come out a really nice brown and really gives my face oomph! I Am a fan of dior bronzer and i rate this one well too !

This is quite a good bronzer...I only use Benefit's Hoola bronzer on my NC37-40 / C5 skintone, but I got this because it smelt so good in the packaging! In all honesty, the fragrance gets annoying after awhile, and I hate putting fragranced products on my face most of the time (really not good for your skin at all) but I only use this bronzer once in a blue moon.
I use the darkest shade available and it's a brown colour with a very very very slight orange undertone, with gold glimmers in it. I don't use this all over my face cuz...well...who has a naturally shimmery face? But sometimes if I'm going out somewhere I'll dust this over the apples of my cheeks or my tempes, for a little bit of oomph. On my skintone is turns out as a light brown/very slightly orange colour that sparkles in sunlight. I use my 187 brush or a kabuki to apply and it's pretty easy to blend. I'm not sure if I'd repurchase (the product lasts AGES and it's not exactly HG for me) but I'll carry on using it for special occasions until I run out.

I never thought I could use a bronzer, as my skin is so pale, I thought bronzer would make my face look unnatural. On the contrary with the bronzer!!!
It gives me a beautiful dewy brown shade that looks amazing and it shimmers slightly in the sun!!!
Give this bronzer a try, you won't regret it.

Initially i bought this product because i had never used a bronzer before. This product is the cheapest product in my make up bag and i bought it purely because i wanted to master the art of applying bronzer- just to see what it would do for my face. I adore make up and everything else is easy to use and i use blusher, but i really didn't know what bronzer would do for my face. I bought this bronzer purely because it was cheap and the colour looked like it would compliment my tone. I assumed once i had mastered how and where to use it, i would then go and buy a much more pricier one to compliment the rest of my cosmetics. Not so.
Firstly, the packaging didn't really do it for me, it's like a book and i felt it would just come apart and make a mess in my make up case. But it actually holds well and the bronzer is firmly pressed. It is packaged inside like a bar of chocolate which i liked because it was different, the smell is pleasant too.
I use a large fluffy brush to apply this, i use it on my cheek bones, a little on my nose, temples and chin. It has tiny gold flecks, which are perfectly subtle for the day time and the coverage is buildable for the evening. The colour is a brown-gold tan type shade on my skin tone. (Im medium toned)
I can now say that i do love this product. It gives me such a healthy glow and contours my face so well, it just transforms me and gives my face so much 'life'- if that makes sense? Sometimes i don't feel the need to apply anything else when i'm wearing this product because it gives my face lots of definition. I have tried Hoola by benefit in the past and found it was too dark for me, I've also tried a lancome bronzer, which is fine- it's more orangey, which i feel my skin can pull off because of it's tone but i think this bronzer would suit anyone. It lasts pretty much all day, it can get patchy towards the end of the day, but really only if you have oily skin. I never thought something so cheap would work so well (at the risk of sounding like a cosmetics snob) but i haven't felt the urge to find something better in fact. Ive had this product for at least 6 months and there's still lots left. I'm sure others would enjoy it.

I do like this bronzer but not enough to want to buy it again. For some reason on me it just looks patchy and takes a fair bit of blending to get it right. I'm not too keen on the little flecks of gold either.
That said it does smell devine and I would of carried on using it had I not got a free bronzer by Boots No17 which I adore.
Good bronzer but for me its not the best out there.
Age: 36-43 Skin: Normal, Olive Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
I love this bronzer! It looks, smells and feels lovely. Very natural, no orangeyness or muddiness and it isn't overly shimmery. I have dark hair and eyes and a skintone that tans well in Summer but I go very pale in Winter (but not in a good way like Nigella Lawson unfortunately) so this will be in everyday use over the next few months.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Fair Hair: Brunette, Straight, Medium Eyes: Green
I had such high hopes for this due to the reviews, especially when I thought it would smell like chocolate as I love anything chocolatey/vanilla scented, but the smell of this is awful, its hard to describe but it made me feel sick to my stomach (perhaps i got a dodgy one since everyone else seems to like it) I got the colour 52 the darkest as in the UK there is only one shade of this bronzer '52', a gold clubbing bronzer (which is VERY gold and metallic I dont know why anyone would wear it on their face lol) and a face highlighter which actually seems quite nice. I wish the lighter shade was available here. I tried this when i was NC25 and had a light tan, I was very disappointed, on my skin is was very dark, obvious and seemed quite hard to blend. Such a shame I didnt like it as the packaging is cute, but i think even if the bronzer had been nice I would have had to hold my breath to use it as the smell made me so sick, and Im not even that sensitive to make up scents usually. I definately wouldnt buy it again, but i can see how maybe darker skinned girls would like it.

I love the color of this product: it is not orange (or coppery) neither doesn´t make me look dirty (i use 51, the lightest one). I love the texture: finely milled, so people don´t notice you´re wearing a powder on your face.
But... it doesn´t last! It disappears after one or two hours! I have to wear another product over it in order to keep it in place, which annoys me.
I hope I can find a similar product with good lasting power.

This is an absolutely irresistable bronzer priced at £6.95 with a yummy chocolate orange scent...it's shaped like a chocolate bar that looks and smells good enough to eat! It comes in a magnetic box with no mirror or brush provided, but I honestly don't care because it's so nice.
It's not a matte bronzer (like my HG hoola) but it's not an overly shimmery one either. It has little iridescent glints that give me a little glow. It's very soft in texture so my kabuki brush can pick up the product with no trouble at all.
I got the darker shade of the 2 colours, it's like a brown colour with little bits of gold glints in it. On my face the colour is not really that obvious so I don't use it as a bronzer because it's not quite dark enough for my olive skin. I use it as a blush mostly, because it leaves a very slight hint of colour with little golden glints in it that make me look glowing and healthy. Sometimes I use it over the cheeks/nose and it still looks pretty there too for when I want a "I look radiant but no one can put their finger on why" kind of look.
Overall, this is a great product which smells delicious and gives beautiful effects on my skin. Would definately repurchase :)

I bought this after recently moving to Australia from NZ. My mac bronzer broke so i needed a replacement. I really like the packaging of this product - so cute that its like a bar of chocolate!! the smell is good too. As far as being a bronzer this is one of the best i have used so far. You can build up coverage really easily because the powder is so fine. Also its really well pressed so its not going to break in hurry. i really like it.

I really like this bronzer. I have it in the lighter shade and it looks pretty subtle, but I still have to be careful not to over-apply. It smells delicious, just like chocolate. It also seems to be lasting me quite a long time, because I only need a little bit each time I use it. I've only given in 4 lippies because I have a niggling feeling that I might keep looking for something even better, but this is a very good buy.

This is lovely! Before I bought this I was using Paula Dorf Bronzing powder in Bronzed but for my GGG complexion that hardly did anything...so I bought this and I'm so glad I did! It's fantastic, the colour gives me a gorgeous glow. It smells yummy too and would last a reallly long time. I bought colour no. 52.

This stuff smells soooo nice, it gave me a feeling that I always have in the summertime.
The packaging is new, it has like magnets in it so it wont burst open when you have it in your purse or anything.
I dont know what color I had...I think it was the darker one (it has 2 shades in the netherlands) It looks very natural, but since I am kind of fair this can look orange in a sec when I put on to much.
I already have this stuff a long time and I still dont see the bottom of the package, but that is because i dont have to use a lot of it....
I gave it 4 lippies because it is a bit expensive over here and it has only 2 shades...

I love this bronzer! My boyfriend bought it for me a while ago as he knows how addicted I am to both make up and chocolate so thought this was a perfect combination!
For ages I loved the smell and the cute packaging but found it too 'dirty' looking. I did, however, appreciate that it wasn't at all orangey. Being a pale girl and a bit of a ditz when it comes to applying bronzer I couldn't get it to work.
More recently I tried it with MAC 187 and although it does require quite a few swipes, the result I get is a natural looking glow. Applied lightly I would recommend this as a great bronzer for us pale chicks!
