I like how this is sort of stiff and deposits color RIGHT to where you want it. It won't budge unless you blend. I don't really like to blend too much with this brush though because it is stiff. This IS the only brush I can use though to deposit my bright highly pigmented eye shadows like sushi flower, creme de violet and hepcat since I don't want those shades traveling or depositing elsewhere. Love the long black handle, makes it easy to grab and use. Enjoy! =)

I like to use this to pack on pigments on the lid.. whats weird is that it picks up some colors better than others. i can also use it on the crease which is a plus. however, mines gotten quite pokey=/ i can't even find that one strand of hair thats out of place but it has really irritated my lid! it drives me crazy.. so i mainly use this brush when damp.

This brush is best for a wash or for very pigmented powder e/s. It doesn't pick up much pigment at all. MAC makes way better eye brushes like 217 that are more versatile than this one.

This is an OK brush but there are other MAC brushes that are more versatile. This has a small head and is best for applying shadow to small areas such as on the lid only or highlighting the area under the brow. For an all over wash I prefer a brush with a larger head. Also this one is quite fluffy and if you're looking for a dense application of color it can take some time with this one. The fact is there are brushes such as the 275 that can be used for the same purposes as this one but also work for the crease, applying an allover wash or for blending. If you just want a basic collection of brushes I would recommend the 275 over this one. If you collect brushes and have a lot of different brushes for different purposes then this might be worth adding to your collection.

This is a great brush to apply an all over color. This is a soft (not stiff), multi-taking brush that you can use for defining your crease, or to use to apply shadow from lashline to the crease. A staple in my brush collection.

This brush is good, but for specific jobs only because it deposits alot of pigment. I've found that it's nice for the crease or applying a thick smudgy line close to my upper lashes. Since I prefer simple washes for everyday e/s, I don't use it often. The 4 lippies are for quality; it's lovely soft and does its job well, but I probably wouldn't repurchase it.

This brush works really well for me when I apply lid color. It's really soft and washes easily.

I agree with the girl that said it works just as well as those eyeshadow sponge applicators. Of course it works a bit better but I still didn't really like this brush too much. Too small to apply a wash to the lid.. didn't apply very evenly.. worked ok as a crease brush but not the best.

I use this brush for my everyday eyeshadow application. It applies the right amount of shadow. For more precise application I will still use my 239 brush.

I'm assuming this is a great brush, since it gets raves and a lot of people seem to love it but it didn't impress me at all. yeah it applies eyeshadows to the lid but so do my cheapie drugstore brushes and i find the 213 doesn't seem to apply pigmented shadows well at all. the brush looks beautiful but i'm not going to pay $18CDN for a brush that works just as well as the little sponge applicators you can buy.

Since buying this brush, it has become one of my most used. It's slightly smaller size makes it perfect for depositing e/s in just the outer corner of the eye or not overapplying dark shadows in one's crease. This is a soft and versatile addition to anyone's brush collection.

I have the SE version and love this brush - it's just so versatile! I use this daily for lid colour but can use it to apply an all over wash, brow highlighter, crease colour. It's a great size that just seems to 'fit my eye' and applies shadow like a dream. My favourite shadow brush by far!

I lost my 213 brush that came with the Holiday 2002 e/s kit, so I repurchased this one. This is such a great e/s brush! It's just the right size for my lids. It's also soft, but still firm enough to deposit enough e/s on your lids.

This is a good all rounder shadow brush with soft bristles and a nice curve to the head. Wroks well with loose and pressed powders. D.xx

Cute little brush. Perfect size for applying e/s to the lid and so soft. However, a little too soft to act as a blending brush. For this I use L'Oreal's all over shadow brush.

I have the SE edition of this brush I love it. I don't use it all that much for e/s application except when when I need alot of e/s on the lid. I do use it every day to smooth out whatever e/s I'm using as an eyeliner. Use it daily for that!

This works fantastic as a crease brush, or for general application to the lid. Very soft, and so slick looking, like all MAC brushes. This had does not shed, and holds up to numerous washings. I would buy this again!
