Age: 18 & Under   Skin: Normal, Fair   Hair: Brunette   Eyes: Brown

CONS:
Becomes flaky
Sticks the lashes together (not natural at all)
Cannot put other coats if the mascara is dry, and this thing dries really fast
PROS:
Easy to remove
Cheap
Last for a while
Brush is good for the lower lashes, but not so much on the upper lashes

I will not buy this product again simply because I want to try other things that look a lot more natural.

I found this product to be quite different from the other Great Lash products. The formula smudged very easily and after a simple eye rub, I look like a raccoon. I wanted to try the brush and for $3.99, you can't go wrong. It did a great job separating and volumizing my lashes without major clumping. It appeared that I had more lashes compared to other mascaras. There was also no smudging! The only downside in my opinion, was that the product dried out more quickly than usual, and did not last more than a few weeks. Overall, this is a good buy for the value and results.

the original great lash is tons different from this one! this one gave me great volume and length and its a bit clumpy but i think the cone shape wand is the factor to clumping. the tube stopper doesnt wipe of enough product off of the tip of the wand which is way smaller than the base of the conical shaped wand. i looove the packaging! it gives me volume and length but i tend to find flakes and smudges throughout the day especially since its summer. my lashes do feel hard with it on but i dont mind because i do take it off well at night! overall there are tons of mascaras out there for me to try but if i had the chance i probably would buy this again in the future!

The packaging is cute. I hated the original Great Lash and have heard that this was nothing like the original. Well, that's true, but I'm still not the piggest fan. It gives a nice natural look, but I expected dramatic results that make my eyes pop. No such luck. I like that it doesn't clump and gives pretty volume, but I'm on the hunt for something that will give my already long, thick lashes that extra wow factor.

This is a great mascara, if you can get to work the brush (It can be a little tricky) you can work wonders with it. It separates my lashes and it doesn't clump even if i build up. I guess it's a love it or hate it product, just like the original. I guess it would be great as a spare mascara to have in case you lost yours, but to me it's the perfect on-the-go mascara. I love it and would recommend it to everyone. And the price, it's just a plus.

I gave this mascara 3 lippies because I like the brush very much, however, the formula isn't my favorite. I am not a fan of huge mascara brushes and this one is indeed, the little grabber. It does a very good job at getting the tiny eyelashes in the corners. For the price, it's an okay mascara. I would buy it again and a cheap option.

I was so disappointed in this product. When i first bought it i thought the new style of brush would make it easier to apply and not clump, unfortunately, it's the exact opposite! This brush makes the mascara clump not only on my eyelashes but the brush too, so automatically when i apply, my eyelashes just become one thick, gross-looking, glob. I still have this product but it's buried in my makeup bag waiting to get thrown out. I wouldn't recommend it but maybe i just got a defective tube or something.

I don't know why I'm just now seeing (or maybe just now noticing) this in my area, but I picked it up at Walgreen's and it appeared that they were marketing it as new. In any event, I'm a fan, just as I am of the original Great Lash mascara. I have found that half of a mascara's worth is in its brush, and I like the way that this one is designed. It really is conducive to precise application of the product on both the upper and lower lashes. The formula is also very black, as promised. I'm not experiencing any clumping and even when I touch my lashes I don't end up with a transferance of the product onto my fingers. I'd purchase again.

I absolutely adore Great Lash. However, I dislike the brush on this version. I have tried it several times and it simply does not work for me. Love the original brush.

Will not purchase this version again. I will however continue to purchase the original version.

The first couple uses or so, this mascara is super clumpy and hard to work with. After this initial "breaking in" period, the formula dries out a bit and you can create full, thick lashes fairly easily with a bit of de-clumping. I had great results with it for about 2-3 weeks, then the formula gets too dry. I would rather spend more on a mascara that doesn't dry out as easily instead of having to replace this every 3 weeks.
Please note that this is definitely not the same formula as the original Great Lash. It's much thicker and dries out a lot faster.

I love this mascara it's cheap, makes my Lashes look fantastic and the bottle is cute. It looks better if you use a clear mascara first then apply this but over all I love it and will be repurchasing

This is the first version of Great Lash that I didn't throw away after one use, so that's saying something. I try it every 5 years or so, thinking "Well EVERYONE loves it..." and then remember why I don't. I did use this tube for a month... the brush is a VAST improvement, and makes it usable... but I still find nothing special here. The brush, while better, isn't great and I poked myself in the eye with it's sharp little bristles more than once (they are different lengths depending on which way the brush is turned... tricksy!). The formula was fine, not clumpy.... but I wasn't wowed either. Will not repurchase, but glad to see that the iconic pink-and-green bottle (which, let's be honest, is at least 90% of the reason why I WANT to love it so much) is getting an update to make it more usable in the 21st century.

I purchased this product because of the performance of the original Great Lash mascara. This brush is horrible. It caused clumps, and did not separate my lashes like the original. Major fail, Maybelline. :(

The "heart" shaped brush wasn't too bad, but I prefer a baguette shape. It did grab my lashes and I think it applied evenly and pretty nicely on my lashes but they're naturally pretty long anyway just need some colour and volume.
Problem was that it lasted no time at all. This stuff flaked like crazy, even after like an hour of wearing, OR LESS.
To sum it up
No clumping at all, applied well with a strange but ok brush, flaked like black Christmas snow and didn't last long.

I'm not impressed by this mascara at all. I like the wand, but the formula is too wet which causes my lashes to droop. And, it takes forever to dry.

This mascara is really great! I personally call it the LASH GRABBER! it picks up my lashes and adheres well! it adds so much volume, and I have very short straight down lashes. It gives my lashes length and volume and makes my not so visible lashes a big boost! Got it at wal-mart for $3.96 on sale the packaging is so cute with the heart at the bottom of the tube and the small new pink applicator works well in picking up each lash! my fave mascara right now!

This was my HG because of the fabulous little applicator. Loved it so much i used 3 bottles concurrently, but have switched to something less flaky and more buildable. I had to be careful when applying this product, as it was very easy to go overboard. The reason why i applied too thickly is that it makes the lashes stick together when i applied the third or more coats. I had to go seriously light on this. I kept wiping off product with a paper towel so i could go back and use the brush to comb out lashes and define them.
The final straw was the flakies. I got them pretty bad, especially after wearing a few hours. Plus, the formula is not flexible at all, it is very firm and crunchy. It all depends on what you like in a mascara. It worked for a while when i needed a firmer hold, my lashes do not like to curl; but now that i have maximum length from using Latisse, they seem to curl by themselves and dont need a mega-hold product.
I am Asian, and had the stubbiest teeniest lashes. Now, they are long, full and fluttery....but....need a less firm hold.
I am using Maybelline's Mega Plush....for now. Im sure that will change also.

Maybelline hardly ever disappoints when it comes to mascaras. With that said this is one great mascara. It holds a curl, doesn't clump, and gives me some length. I use it in very black and that's exactly what it is. I get hardly any flaking or smudging, my number one complain with other mascaras. I love the iconic pink and green tube and the price can't be beat. Will I repurchase again? Probably. Why not a definite yes? Well because I'm a mascara junkie and as I type this I have about half a dozen mascaras in my collection. If I had to stick to one mascara for the rest of my life, this would be it.

I'm not sure what all the raves are about, I should have listened to all the negative feedback because this mascara was such a waste of money (although only $4cad).
It made my eye lashes droop downward because the formula was so wet and took so look to dry. It didn't lengthen and it didn't give it much volume. It was there, but barely made a difference.
Don't succumb to peer pressure to try this once, spend the extra $3 to get the Covergirl lash blast instead.
