First I really like this serum. It seemed work fine to overall improve my skin texture. It is easy absorb, non-greasy, and with a lovely tangerine smell. I actually purchased the 2nd bottle of this and it started to stop working to make my skin better or fix any rough or red pump. My skin wasn't really good back then, just ok, but not great. The price wasn't too bad if you purchase the Little Wonder Set..

I am not sure if I will repurchase it or not. My skin turned pretty good after using cream de La mer. However, I still feel I need some serum before the moisturizer so I am using Philosophy Hops is not Enough for the Day and EL Night Repair for the night but they are all NOT a MUST.

I received this as Sephora's 100 pt perk, and have been using it for about a month. It does seem to brighten the complexion a bit, and smells like tangerines, but it hasn't seemed to lighten any of my old acne scars or do anything incredible for my skin. At $50/bottle, I'd expect a little more bang for my buck. I do like using it under my moisturizer at night, but I'm not sure I'd purchase it.

Wouldn't have tried it on my own, and wasn't really quite sure what it did- but it was the 100 point thingy at Sephora.
Turn out I love it. It's a gentle citrusy scented serum. You only need a small dime size to cover face. I have been using it ever morning for 2 months.I didn't have any initial purging, though whenever I change products I normally get bad acne. What it does for me: brightens, evens, smoothes fine line texture out. Since trying this, I have switched over to Ole for basically everything. Skin type is oily, aging, I do Retin A at night.

I have mixed feelings concerning this product. My skin has visibly improved: brighter, more even, radiant, etc. But it seems the product does not penetrate in the skin, kind of sits on top and feels sticky. When if I try to massage more (so skin can absorb better) or to put moisturizer on top, it starts to create white stuff, like little rubber pieces.. arg! And because of this I can only use it 1x a day, at night..and it's almost a sacrifice because sometimes it's very irritating feeling, like if I have not remove a thick white sunscrean.
I really like how my skin improved but I hate the way it feels on my skin (and no, I did not use too much). It's a pitty.

i really love this stuff a lot. it really works at smoothing out the fine lines, and makes my complexion clearer. however the $50 dollar bottle only lasted about 2 months. it smells awesome and truly does work, but i dont have the budget to buy a bottle that will only last 2 months.

The fresh citrusy scent was the first thing that hit me and I love it. For this product, a little really goes a long way. I rub half a pump into my palms and pat it all over my face. It's a little sticky at first but it's not too irritating and goes away after I pat my moisturizer on top of it. I've used it consistently over a month and my face is smoother and the skin tone more evened out and radiant. One of my favorite serums!

I really wanted to like this serum. I thought it soaked in well and smelled pretty good. The consistency was very good. The first night I put it on, it burned a little, but I didn't really think anything of it. When I woke up in the morning, my eyes were puffy and my skin was irritated. Now, even three days later, areas of my face feel like sandpaper and my skin is red. I have never had such an extreme reaction to a product. The eye cream and the truth lotion from Ole Henricksen are the same way for me.

This product is good but it made me breakout. I like that it does give a nice glow and the smell is nice but the breaking out part I could do without. And I know it's this because everytime I stop, the little pimples go away. Won't buy again.

Simply wonderful. I've used a lot of vitamin C serums (obagi, kerstin florian, murad) and this one is least expensive AND the best. C serums are NOT cheap. But this one is reasonably priced and my favorite thus far. It smells divine. Makes your face plump ang glowing. I don't find it to be sticky at all. I use it during the day and the stri-vectin overnight resurfacing serum at night (which I also LOVE).

This smells like oranges and feels very refreshing on my skin. Usually serums last a looong time, this one.. I probably need to buy a new one in a few months (and I don't use this it everyday) My skin seems to soak up this serum compared to more oily verions out there. My skin looks brighter and better, and I have had no breakouts. So this stuff feels great for my skin, will buy again!

I really love this serum! I don't find it sticky, and I use less than a full pump for my face and neck. The pump is sort of loose, so you can easily get just a 1/2 pump. Any stickiness there is, disappears when I put my moisturizer on top of this. I am using this in the morning with a SPF 30 moisturizer, and a different serum at night, with the Invigorating Night Gel and Sheer Transformation cream, and I am right now having the best skin I've had in a LONG time. No breakouts or flakies! I have combo skin with large pores on my nose, and everything is looking smoother and brighter lately. I have some melasma and hyperpigmentation from 2 summer pregnancies and 2 trips to Waikiki over the past 5-6 years, and I am really starting to see a difference. I have a lot of products, and I was mixing it up for a while, but I finally think I've found my perfect regimen, without the use of hydroquinone!

I have tried using this product repeatedly with moderate expectations as I have a few other Ole Henrickson products that I love (Sheer Transformation and New Beginnings Scrub both rock.)

However, every time I use the serum, I break out within a day or two of use, even when used sparingly. It is most definitely the serum, since I've stopped and started it numerous times, with lags of use in between, and had the same resulting problems with whiteheads cropping up out of the blue. I also find the scent to be a bit too fruity and the pump inconsistent.

In general, considering my age, my skin is in decent shape. I rarely break-out any more and am well moisturized and exfoliated. I have a regular daily skin care regime, and weekly masks of one form or another. While I mostly like the way the OH serum makes my skin feel, the break-outs are intolerable. I'll stick with my Chanel serum for fancy days and Philosophy serum for regular use.

I'm on the fence with this one... I use several of Ole's product, my favorite being the Sheer Transformation Cream (which, btw, worked wonders for my skin in terms of lightening spots and brightening overall skintone). I bought this serum at Sephora maybe in early-mid September after a) seeing such great results from the Sheer Transformation and b) reading all the rave reviews & hype surrounding this product and was so looking forward to adding myself to the long list of admirers...
Well, I can't add it just yet.
I was very disappointed when just 2 months after purchase I extracted the last of what remaining in the bottle... Besides the fact that I used it up rather quickly, I hadn't noticed ANY difference in my skin at all. Now, I must admit I did not use this consistently as I am, as I'm sure most of you are, a C.P.J (certified product junkie). I also found the serum a bit sticky on my skin after applying 1 pump. So, in order to use as part of my a.m routine (as is suggested use for most Vit C products), I would only use on no-makeup days. A beauty advisor at Sephora proposed the stickiness was a result of using too much product which, at the time. didn't seem like the cause. But now that I've blown througn the bottle so quickly, it makes me think she may have been right...
I definitely will try this again - mostly because the research surrounding regular use of Vit C appeals to me and the selection of oil-free, non-irritating & non-comedogenic Vit C products seems limited. Oh yeah, an the smell is just wonderous!

I don't have any wrinkles or issues with aging skin yet, but this seems like a nice natural way to help fend off anything that might settle into my skin. It may be psychological, but it seems like this product is making my skin brighter, fading my acne scars, and giving it a youthful glow. (I received this as part of the Three Little Wonders set so it could be the combination of the 3 products working together). I also like how this product sinks into my skin quickly (anything to save time in the morning) and I think as long as you don't use too much, you won't have any issues with stickiness. (In my experience, you only need half a pump or less.) The smell is a sweet orange candy kind of smell, but I actually think it's kind of nice in the morning! The only thing I hate about this product (and why I gave it 4 lippies instead of 5) is the pump because it's easy to dispense more than you need, and when it's $50 a pop, you really don't want to be rubbing the excess on the back of your hand. I will definitely be buying this again!
EDIT: I travel a lot and I've found that the packaging needs much improvement since it's very good at leaking! I've resorted to leaving the bottle at home since I'd rather skip a couple days than waste a quarter of the bottle.

So, here's the thing. I like Ole Henriksen. I really do. I just don't like that I feel like I need to use multiple products in its line for it to be effective. I like this truth serum. But for being ~$40-50 and after having gone through 3 bottles of this stuff, I feel like I should have a much stronger opinion of it. At the same time, I'm the dope that keeps buying it. I can tell that my skin wants a serum to plump, smooth, and prepare for the moisturizer. And this one is a good option, for a decent price. However, I haven't seen any drastic changes in the fine lines on my forehead. I have seen general improvements in my skin tone when used with the sheer transformation. So in short, as an anti-aging product, meh, but as a skin-tone evening product, thumbs up.

This really good. It smells awesome, feels great on the skin, and a little goes a long way. I have combination skin, prone to breakouts, and I haven't had any problems with this. It feels a little sticky at first, but it's only for a few seconds until skin absorbs it. And you can use it on the eye area which is definitely a plus.

When trying to find a less expensive Vitamin C serum than SkinCeuticals, I found this. It smells of sickly sweet orange juice, but that dissipates quickly. It absorbs very quickly so get it where you need it fast; it also absorbs cleanly – not stickiness, no residue, no tightness – just soft, smooth skin. This didn’t irritate or breakout my skin or make it more oily, in fact I felt that this serum minimized breakouts better than SkinCeuticals. Since I’m using this as a preventative measure against wrinkles, I cannot say if it improves them or not. The bottle only lasted me four months, versus a SkinCeuticals which lasted six months (though Truth Serum is half the price of SkinCeuticals, so it is cheaper in the short and long run). The pump is hygienic, but it’s also pretty stiff, so push down very slowly so you don’t dispense too much. A downside is that the bottle is glass so be careful when traveling, but it’s a very thick glass and I haven’t had any problems with it. I will definitely buy this again!

The serum absorbs quickly after my clarisonic brush, it smells like candy and makes my skin look glowy. My skin tingles when I put it on which makes me think it's working. I'm not sure which product it is in my ole henriksen arsenal that's working the magic, but the way my skin is changing is making me think that the products really are effin magical.

Ever since I started an ole henrikson regimen (vitamin c cleanser, grease relief toner, walnut scrub, truth serum, invigorating gel, and sheer transformation and vitamin plus cream) my skin has been transforming! I'm combination/sensitive, oily in the t zone and prone to breakouts, blemishes, and acne that can sometimes be cystic. I also had some enlarged pores that were very clogged and just very dull skin. I was using my clarisonic religiously with a variety of burt's bee's products (since I wanted to go the natural petro chemical free route...) and my skin was not improving AT ALL. I wanted to go to a dermatologist but didn't because I figured they would just prescribe me accutane/harsh retinol creams which I didn't want to use. I normally never wore makeup regularly but skin was the worst it has ever been in my life so I felt I had to cover it up. But my skin is slowly but surely changing because of this regimen, I used Kate Somerville to flatten out my acne, and the Ole Henriksen regimen to heal my blemishes and make my skin look radiant and healthy again.

I adore this product! This is the only serum, let alone vitamin C product I have used that doesn't break me out or clog my pores. My skin is very easily congested from pollution, hard water, and the wrong combo of products/ ingredients. I'm so happy that I've found a serum I can stick with. Some people are saying how it won't stay potent because the bottle is clear...true true. I just keep mine in the box and only take it out when I use it. It smells really nice...kinda sweet. It feels a little tacky right after you smooth it on but then sinks right in within a couple of seconds. I usually mix a tiny pump of the serum with a pea sized amount of aloe vera gel. I apply that mix to my face and neck then go back with a little more serum around my eyes, mouth, and hands. Last, I apply my usual moisturizer on the dry areas. I just love this product! It keeps my skin smooth and even toned. I'm so addicted. Too scared to try anything else, then again...I don't think I need to :)
UPDATE: This is still good BUT..i wish it were a little stronger.

I too am one of those people where this didnt do much for me. one bottle of this only lasted about 3 months or maybe less. It says that its supposed to brighten the skin, and that it did not to. A lot of people like this serum and swear by it, but it didnt work for me at all. also, it was a bit too oily for me.
