I was hesitant to try this product, as I've read so many negative reviews about it on this site. However, I went ahead and bought it. I HATE wearing any type of foundation (and rarely wear makeup at all), so I have been looking for a moisturizer that will even out skin tone while providing an SPF. I have to say this is a GREAT moisturizer and really does even out my skin tone. It also does give just a hint of a glow, which I love. It absorbs quickly, leaving my skin very soft. My skin looks healthier with this product. Oh, and the smell is great - very light and clean. I honestly don't understand why so many women here says it smells badly. I will definitely keep using!

i bought this product at costco for 15 dollars for a set of two :D so i recommend going to costco. i dont know whether they discontinued it there though because i was in luck when i got the last package. i have to say, it really did make my face glow. it definitely evened out my skin tone. it just didnt do anything for my dark spots as it mentioned. really upset about that. but for 15 dollars for two of them, i have to give it 3 lippies.

I actually really love this moisturizer. I was a little hesitant at first because I was afraid it would make my combination skin look a little more on the oily side due to the brighteners, but I am happy to say it just left my face with a nice dewy glow. My face actually did look more radiant, even with a primer and some light powder foundation on top of it, you could tell there was a positive difference.
While I love this product as an everyday moisturizer, I found a reason to love this even more. When I wear foundation instead of powder, I mix one pump of this with my Revlon Colorstay foundation; it is the best thing ever. The brightening in the moisturizer gives my face a glow when I mix it with my foundation, and also helps to thin out the foundation to make it look less cakey. The combination of the two is absolutely amazing for me. That is the overall reason for me rating this as a 5, but it honestly is a good buy. In my opinion, it is worth the $15:)

I tried this because I like Aveeno and I liked the Positively Radiant cleansers and this had a sunscreen built in. Consistency is more like a sunscreen than a lotion. When I apply it on my skin, it doesn't feel like a lotion (with it's hydrating goodness sinking into the top layers of my skin) but rather a sunscreen (whereby the product sits atop your skin).
PROS: doesn't clog my pores, actually makes it look more even upon application, has sunscreen, sunscreen smell
CONS: applies and feels more like slick sunscreen, prevents makeup from adhering properly, makes my skin feel heavily-coated, and skin seems more oily in a few hours than if I didn't apply anything at all
Gave it 3 lippies because it's not awful (did even out skin tone upon application) but it isn't something I'd wear with makeup. Good for brief, barefaced excursions such as to the gym or pool

I love this product, and have found that it really works for me. I have been using it for 5 years now,and found that is really even out my over all skin tone. It is on the pricey side about 15$ per bottle but for me it's worth it. I feel like it is heavy enough to penetrate and deeply moisturize, but not be overly oily or greasy. I personally like the way it smells, it smells clean and fresh.I often mix it will a little bit of my tinted moisturizer before i leave for the day. I will say that after several uses the bottle does deflate and you have to take the top off to get any out, but for me it isn't a problem.

I've been using this for over two months with absolutely no skin tone correction, as advertised. Additionally, as others have mentioned, the sparkly/greasy aspect is unappealing. DO NOT GET THIS PRODUCT NEAR YOUR EYES! It burns. A lot! For that matter, the fumes from the fragrance can cause more eye watering. Why do I continue to use it? Simple. I paid about $15 for the tiny lil bottle and can't bring myself to throw it away til it's gone. I just dust powder over the moisturizer to remove the sparkles.
Save your money.

Why did I buy it: I heard good things about it so I bought one.
I like:
1. It leaves your skin very soft, like you have just put silicon primer on.
2. SPF 15 is great
3. It does not make your face white, unlike some other spf lotions.
I hate:
1. Although it is nice having a pump, it is terribly designed. After each pump, your bottle get squeezed flat. I have to remove the whole cap to "inflate" the bottle every time.
2. Although Aveeno promoted itself as "active naturals", there is nothing natural about the product. It is just mainly chemicals you found in most regular drugstore brand, with a few "natural" ingredients mixed in.
3. It is quite pricey for a drugstore product. I think I pay around $14 for it at Target.
4. It claims to be hypoallergenic. First of all, I do not remember ever get irritated by any skincare/sunscreen/makeup/drugs/food ever, and this makes my skin itchy and gives me hives every single time I use it. I mean, I NEVER EVER find myself allergic to almost anything, and this definitely does not agree with me.
Conclusion: If you are looking for a natural product, don't try Aveeno, go check out wholefood. And if you have sensitive skin, stay away from it.

NASTY! this product smells so gross, thats what bothered me the most. i was thinking i could use this as an everyday moisturizer, apparently i cant. it smelled like sunscreen mixed in with caca or something jazzy like that. & when i would wear it in the summer it would start to run in my eyes. even though i hate this product, the good part about it was it made your skin like glowing, as if you were wearing a light bronzer. to finish it up i didnt put it on my face, but on my legs. it made my legs actually very nice...

I've been using this moisturizer for a year now, because I can't find anything else. This isn't the best moisturizer at all. The only reason why I use this is because it dosn't break me out, and I'm afraid to try something else on my face. It says it's oil free but at the end of the day, my face looks a greasy mess. This doesn't even out dark spots at all, but it does make you skin look brighter. It is a little shimmery, but you won't notice until you go into the sun. Overall, it's an OK moisturizer.

I bought this product on a whim. I saw the ads for it and I wanted to see how it worked: brightening and fading out spots.
I've used it for about 4 months, i think, and I have grown to like this moisturizer more and more. When I first tried it, i was actually a little horrified. It had cost me almost 23 dollars and it felt greasy on my skin, in addition, it made my face all sparkly! And may I just say, I did NOT want to look like a freakin twilight vampire!
So then I went back to my clean and clear oil free moisturiser that I've been using for the past 3 years. But then I figured, if you can make foundation less cakey by mixing it with some moisturiser, why can't I do the same with a moisturiser that cost me an arm and a leg?
So I mixed a glob of my C&C moisturiser [which has a watery gel consistency] with a pump of the Aveeno moisturiser and it turned out great! [ still not keen on the sparkly mica bits >.>]
I really think it helps brighten and diminish scars. Doesn't break me out, as far as I'm concerned, and it adds a great boost to my C&C moisturiser!
Wouldn't recommend it on it's own, but when diluted it works great!

Wost facial product I have ever used. I saw some reviews on this, and I thought Aveeno was for people with sensitive skin. I used it for a week and it was making my skin worse. I have normal to dry skin and it was making my dry skin dryer and my normal skin dry. At first I didn't realize what it was, so I applied more during the day. After about a week I realized something was wrong here. When I looked super super close to my skin in a specific light, there was a rash on my skin. I have never had this problem with any other facial product. If you have sensitive skin and think Aveeno with help, you might want to think again. I don't recommend this and won't repurchase.

Was wondering why on earth my eyes were getting burning and red and then figured out after going on holidays for two weeks and I didn't take this product with me, my eyes cleared up perfectly. Started using this again when i got back and almost immediately my eyes started burning and red again....and i don't ever put this stuff anywhere near my eyes! the closest it gets to my eyes is on my cheeks and nose it's nearly like the fumes from the product irritate my eyes.
It also doesn't hydrate much at all, won't buy again

I think it actually does what it says- i have had a lot of acne scars from over the years and most have them blend into my skin now and I think this is the cause of that. It's VERY shimery which i don't mind because it looks great on my cheekbones, and then i just put a matte cream on my t-zone. Even though i have combo/oily skin, this works well on my skin, and I do get REALLY dry sometimes and this is the only thing that hydrates my skin. I bought this about 10 months ago and I've still got about 1/3 left.

A little expensive for a drugstore product, but it works well. It is a great option for those who want a little sunscreen coverage but don't want to deal with slathering on a thicker sunblock every day. It provides a hint of illumination (good if you have good skin, but bad if you have skin issues like large pores, oil, and acne). It also absorbs really quickly and isn't greasy -- it's perfect for normal skin.

It made my skin look better after a week or so of use but it did make my skin look oily after several hours... but its makes my skin look so much better so ill deal with the oil and use something to control the oil. Over all i will definately keep using this product... oh and its lasted me for a long time too ive had it over four months now and i still got like half a bottle left and it only takes half a pump to do my hole face

I have mixed reviews about this product.
When I first tried it out I noticed that it gives a certain glow. Some people may like it(like me) some people may not. I really like the effect that it gives my skin. The moisturizing quality is okay, I give it a 6/10. It is better than my previous moisturizer. When you put it on it feels a little bit greasy but it goes away after a minute or two.
I also tried mixing it with my liquid foundation and it gives me that really dewy look that I like.
The one thing that I do not like about this product is that it made me break out and it didn't give me the same glow after weeks of use.

I really like this product. The good things outweigh the bad. It makes my skin soft and even helps my acne, breakouts, and sensitive spots on my face. However, I put it on before my foundation and it seemed like it took FOREVER for it to dry enough that I could put on the makeup without it blending right in with the makeup. It was a little pricey for the product, so I am trying out a different brand (with same ingredients and everything). I'm not liking it as much as the Aveeno, so I will be purchasing this product again.

Ive been using this for about 5 monthes now, throught the cold season (and by cold a mean, atlantic canada winter cold). which is when my skin NEEDS a moisterizer. This did ok at the beginning of the fall when my skin wasnt really dry but when i noticed it becoming flaky i added a bit of cetaphil moisterizer too it which worked well. On its own however its a good LIGHT moisterizer for the warmer weather. in the winter you might need a bit more of a heavyer moisterizer. people with oily skin beware as it does have a 'shimmer' to it and can illuminate large pores. my upstairs neighbor acctually bought this for me after mentioning to her that her skin looked good and asking her what she used (she mentioned this product) this is the first moisterizer ive stuck with for such a long time (usually i chuck em after disliking them but i liked this one enough to keep it around). it didnt do anything to 'even my skin tone' but was a very handy light moisterizer for fall/spring weather. now that the weathers warming up im going to try the avveno calming lotion as my skin does have some redness and i dont want to go into summer with 'shimmer' and i like a matte look.Edit-IT SUCKS... However through using this product i will stay with the aveeno moisterizers line assuming the rest work as well as this one did. a good light moisterizer that didnt break me out.
Edit- after straying from this product I went back to it and I hate it. I don't know why I ever liked it so much. The shimmer makes you look greasy. It does not moisterizer well and after using it straight for 3 years my face doesn't look anymore radient nor has the texture or darkspots went away. PLUS it's pretty expensive for a drugstore product. The only bonus is that you get enough in a bottle to last you 3 months or so. I ended up throwing a brandnew bottle of this into the garbage because it sucked so much.

I actually sort of like the fact that this moisturizer has a bit of a shimmer to it. I was using mark's See Things Clearly Brightening Moisturizer before, which also had the sparkles in it, but I was finding it too much of a hassle having to track down an Avon representative and re-ordering it every time I ran out. So I found this at Shoppers instead, and have found it a fair replacement. At first (with the mark's moisturizer), I remember feeling a little let-down and thinking that it was almost like cheating to advertise a product as being able to brighten your complexion, only to find that they had more or less just thrown glitter in it. But the more I used it, the more I learned to love it, and was therefore thrilled to find another moisturizer with the same sparkles in it. It does make my skin look bright, clean, and fresh, and I love that it contains SPF. I did read in someone else's review, though, that this moisturizer contains peanut ingredients, and yet there are no warnings on it (which is extremely risky and careless, as I know from friends and family who have peanut allergies how serious that can be), which made me seriously consider throwing it out and never buying it again, but I have yet to find something that I like as much and that makes my face look so good. Especially without makeup. Will definitely continue buying. At least until I find something better.

I love this... I got it in a swap, and I'm very happy about it!
It was thicker than I expected, which is a good thing. I love the pump package...I love Ponds, but hate the tub, so I think that this is my replacement!! There is a slight shimmer, I was trying to figure out where it was coming from, thinking that it was maybe from shadow somewhere because I dont see it on my face.
I have dry skin right now, and this is doing the trick!
Will re-buy!
