I rated this 4 stars only because I have used it for 2 weeks now, but for the 2 weeks that I've used it, it has been a great improvement on my skin. I probably applied this mask on a total of 5 times within the 2 weeks, I place a thin layer on my acne scars and sleep with it on overnight. So far, my skin looks so much better. Some of the redness went away, yet I still have some dark acne spots left over from years ago. I am really hoping that if I continue to use this product, my face will be somewhat flawless. But you definitely should give this product a try if you are tired of your acne scars and feel like you have tried everything. It's worth it even though it costs around $24 USD.

*UPDATE* I upped the rating to 5 stars, because this product has seemed to clear most of my acne scars. I find that I wear less concealer as well as foundation now and my skin looks fine. I am glad I tried this product out!

I got a nice sample of this with a purchase from the Mario website. I've used this mask on areas with acne scarring for about 3 weeks now, usually twice a week. Although this alone didn't get rid of my acne scars completely, it helped them TREMENDOUSLY and also aided with my Finacea, which is supposed to get rid of acne scarring.

I've been using this for a couple weeks and haven't noticed a huge difference yet. Maybe I'm not using it often enough? or consistently enough? I am interested in leaving it on overnight and see what that does. I do like the smell and texture. It's easy to use. I do think it makes my skin softer which is a nice benefit as well. I haven't noticed a whole lot of lightening and I have a lot of old acne marks and hyper-pigmentation which is why I bought this in the first place, but I'll keep trying and see what happens.

I really like this product. I was kind of skeptic, but I tried it anyway. I'm so glad I did. It doesn't really do a lot for my freckles, I only have a couple, it kind of lightened them though.

What it really worked on was those marks that get left behind after a pimple. It faded those in no time, I seen results after using this creme three times a week for two weeks.

I have sensitive skin and it gets kind of red, this seems to really help with the redness and irritation. I don't know why though. I complimented on my skin by the lady that does my laser hair removal. She said "You have such oriental skin, a lot of women would pay a lot of money to have such a nice light complexion like you."

I, of course wear, sunscreen everyday too.

The only bad thing is that I have semi-dry skin, so this dries out my skin a little more on the nights I use this.

I apply this as night and wash it off in the morning. My skin I very pale and this just makes it glow. I never understood when people said "it makes our skin look radiant" or "yor skins glowing until I used this! Love it!

I wanted to like this mask but dang it the acne inflammation came through. *sigh* After leaving it on for about 5 minutes, I needed to take it off because my face was becoming itchy and uncomfortable. I didn't notice any lightening of post acne scars but then again I used it once. On the plus side, it does smell nice.

Ok this product is amazing it has changed my life. I have lived with post ance scars/red marks for almost 1 year and I have done everything to lighten them I have used everything even presciptions creams and nothing has worked until I tried this mask. I do use other MB products so I'm sure that has also helped. I just got a compliment on my skin and that hasn't happened in a long time. Thanks Mario!

First off this mask smells amazing! It smells like crush grapes haha. I have some red marks and this mask really helped my skin. The texture is a bit weird, like liquid putty. It’s not hard to apply the product, but washing it off is a pain (because of the Titanium Dioxide in the product). In terms of its promise, this mask really brighten my complexion. To increase its benefits: use this mask overnight!

I have been using the sample for a week now, so it still might be too early to write a review on this, so I will write about what I have observed and then update later.

First, I love its scent! Also, I love how it feels when I first apply it to my face, it seems so silky. As for "brightening," I am not sure yet. I think it is starting to do something, as I have noticed a few hyperpigmentation spots getting lighter. What I do is apply the mask like normal as directed. Then using a cotton swab, I will dot it onto trouble areas before bed. Perhaps this is why I am starting to notice results with this product. Time will tell though and will evaluate after I finish my sample, which is quite generous, btw.

Okay what the hell is the waxy residue left after washing it off, YUCK! i only tried it once I will continue to use since I bought the full size and update later if it works in lightening hyperpigmentation

I've been using a sample of the whitening mask for about three weeks. I'm optimistic that this is a miracle product. I have tons of acne scars on my face. I put the whitening mask on my face at night and sleep with it on. My scars have truly been fading. I've been putting it on scars on my legs and arms from mosquito bites, and it's fading those too. This is a must try!

I'm dissapointed. I have been using this for a few weeks, and it hasn't done anything for my skin. My skin is still very blotchy and uneven in color... None of it has even slightly faded at all.

This mask smells yummy and does not dry up my face ( usually whitening masks make your face dry.) However, I hate the part to remove it. There is no way possible to get rid of that greasy feeling. I still feel it after using facial cleanser for three times! I have to admit that It does help whitening acne scars, and it helps healing my acne (but this is not an acne mask.)

I've been using this twice a week for a month now. My uneven skin tone appears to have improved somewhat but my old, acne scars still stare back at me mockingly. I guess I expected something more and was mildly disappointed.

But still, my skin has behaved quite decently (very miminal breakouts) since I started using this... maybe it's doing some good, just not what I expected.

I was so excited to try this. I had some acne scars that I wanted to fade. Unfortunately, this just did not work for me. I like that you only have to leave it on for 5 mintues, but alas, I didn't notice any reduction in marks from scarring. Such a shame! I love MB products, but this did not ring my bell like I had hoped.

I have no idea what all these people are talking about this 'glow' or 'radiance' after using this product. The first time I used this I saw no change its only left me with this waxy skin which felt really uncomfortable!! I just used it today, after not using it for a month, and I open it up and the mask is much more thicker than usual (and NO its not because I didnt close the lid on good enough because I always made sure of it that I did!!)! Since I have another mask which Ive had almost a YEAR which still works fine and does not make me breakout or whatsoever (only leaves my skin looking really healthy) I thought this would count the same for this mask.. boy was I wrong!!! This stupid mask gave me a huuuuge rash on my right cheek and jaw line! Looks horrible and so embarrasing! THANKS MARIO BADESCU! Thanks to this horrific experience I will never look at or trust their product line ever again. I do NOT recommend this to anyone! Total bs and waste of you money!!!

If you are looking for a mask to brighten and whiten your skin, this is the one. After just one use, I notice my skin is brighter and whiter. The mask is kind of liquidy compare to other ones I have. And because it comes in a jar I am so afraid I am going to drop it and spill everything. Other than that, I love this and will buy it again and again.

I chose this mask as a sample from a recent mario badescu purchase. I really wanted this mask to work for me because it claims it can lighten post acne marks which i have plenty of cause i broke out so much last year.
the first time i put it on, i enjoyed it. i really like the smell, smelled sweet and calm. and it only stung a little bit after i put it on. when i washed my face, my face felt so clean and fresh.
a week later i put it on again. only this time, it burns!!!! it burned soooo bad. i couldnt take it, i had to wash it off. after i washed it off my cheeks were red.
I have sensitive skin and it could be just me, but i read another review on a different site, and this consumer experience the same thing.
so good thing i tried the sample first!
