I've been using this for close to a month now, and I'm hooked. For me, this oil absorbs well, and within just days, my skin began to look and feel smoother and firmer. I give this a 4/5 only because of the price; the product instructions suggest using both morning and night for the first month, which I have been doing, so my bottle is going quickly. I am finding, though, that I don't have to slather this oil on - a lighter bit still does the job, and it's a good job, so I'll continue to pay the somewhat high price.

Edit: Over a year later and I still love this. I now use it once a day and can even go a few days without, if I run out, before I notice any diminished appearance in my skin. I've found many of the vitamin-oriented websites sell this at a discount - as much as 30% less. Because I've found it cheaper and no longer have to use it twice a day, I'm upping my rating from a 4 to a 5.

I firmly believe that all women have cellulite. I came to this conclusion after seeing pictures of Eva Longoria in a bikini and I was shocked to see the amount of cellulite on the backs of her thighs. I myself am very thin (Size 0-2) and have problems with cellulite. Women naturally store more fat on their bodies than men, and cellulite occurs not just from being overweight but also from having thin skin. My skin is very pale and thin (i.e. you can see my veins through it) thus cellulite is more noticeable on me than on someone with tanned thick skin, even though they might have more fat on their body. The only way to get rid of cellulite is through diet and exercise (especially weight training).

That being said, there is no way that any beauty product is going to get rid of cellulite. However, they work very well at reducing the APPEARANCE of cellulite, which is exactly what this product does. This is the first cellulite product I've tried (thanks to great reviews on MUA) and I am very pleased with the way my skin appears smoother and firmer. I put it on first thing after my shower before drying off and it sinks into my skin nicely without leaving a heavy, greasy feeling (it does feel greasy when used on dry skin though), so definitely use it on damp skin. It has a fresh, clean smell and I love the green glass bottle. I ususally purchase this from spafeatures.com for $14/bottle.

So far, so good. I needed a good cellulite oil because they my HG cellulite massage oil (Tisserand Aromatherapy) became harder to find. When I had used that, it had worked wonders on my cellulite and had taken off inches. This doesn't quite hold up to that oil, but I guess I'll survive. This oil is, well.... quite oily. It smells nice, but it takes forever to sink in, and I hate how greasy I feel after putting it on. For this reason, I only put it on at night. It also doesn't work very well as a massage oil because it doesn't have the right amount of 'slip'. It's very expensive for the price, and especially since you go through a bottle in the matter of a month. I'll keep looking, but for right now, this will do.

1st dissenter here- Perhaps I am biased because my first and only other cellulite treatment purchase was Clarins, but I'm not that impressed. I've never had much of a problem with cellulite, but now that I'm over 30 I'd like to be able to wear my short skirts and still cross my legs with confidence and while the clarins works instantly, it is expensive and the effects wash right off in the shower. I hoped that the weleda oil would be a more lasting treatment. For a few months I exfoliated with a dry brush before my shower and as soon as i stepped out of the shower & dried off I applied the birch oil to my thighs, torso and upper arms. Without washing my hands I would then apply the weleda sea buckthorn oil to my lower arms and legs. The oil wasn't moisturising enough for my lower legs and never seemed to do much in the way of firming my thighs or upper arms over the months I used it. I finally stopped applying it alltogether when I had a recurrence of exzema on my lower legs and began to notice that the oils were not washing out of my clothes. I was having to wash my things three or four times to get the smell of stale oil to come out. It lingered on my sheets and I decided that the minimal results just weren't worth it. Pass on this one.

My first anti-cellulite product and purchased based on the MUA reviews :) Partner commented after just two days of use that my skin feels so much softer and smoother! Have had this for over a week now and use it religiously after my evening shower and boy does it feel good. It absorbs instantly which is bloody amazing and I use the leftovers on my hands like a handcream (my normal reaction would be to wash wash wash under the tap because I dislike oily things) as this absorbs so beautifully (have I said that before? heh). I usually want to slather on more before going to bed lol. It has such a comforting smell to it! And best of all my darling partner commented today after I got out of the shower dripping wet that he reckoned I had LOST WEIGHT! Considering the last week or so has been hell as I have had so much work to do and have had no time to go to the gym.. this stuff must be doing something! Would definitely repurchase! In fact.. seeing that the expiry dates are at least a year away.. I might stock up on a couple of bottles since at least 10-15% of my bottle is already gone! At this rate it's a bottle every 2-3 months but its definitely worth it!

OK, so this is only my first day using this product, so obviously no firming action has taken place (but I have high hopes :) Anyway, I really like the bottle..old school green glass that looks pretty on my dresser! The smell is nature-y and I love how quickly it absorbs as well...this is probably the first body oil that hasn't stained my clothes, or left my pants damp. Will update on the advertised firming action. The only downside-the price (about $30 CDN)

Wow, Wow, Wow. I'm a veteran anti-cellulite products user, tried everything from Gatineau to Avon, but this is another league. I've been using this for 2 months now and my skin on my thighs is so soft and subtle. I don't think that I've lost inches from my thighs or got rid of the cellulite. But it sure feels so much softer, smoother and looks so much better too. The scent is heavenly and oil is so very moisturizing. I don't think I'll be another day in my life without it! :D

I have been using this product for a few months now. I knew I loved it for the scent, texture, and quality, but I was unsure of any anti-cellulite benefits. That is, until I ran out. I couldn't easily repurchase because it was out of stock at my local store. They sold out the day they put it on the shelf! I had to order it on-line. Cannot wait for it to come!! Besides, my husband always comments on how good I smell when I use it. Now, how can I live without it?!? The glass bottle is a little scary, I've had a few close calls with dropping it, but no breaking yet. Besides, it's an attractive bottle. Give it a try. I will continue to repurchase!

I really like this product. The scent is nice and herbal with a slight citrusy note, adequate slip and yet moiturizes and sinks in immediately. I have noticed the skin to which this is applied to be much more smooth, supple, and even. I don't really have a lot of cellulite so might not be giving it a good enough test, but for me with the slight tautnses I'd like to give to my thighs this is well worth a repurchase.

I totally agree!This is a great product!
Altough I hardly have any cellulite I can't stand the few lumps I see sometimes in bad light. For that reason I started to use this stuf.I used to massage my skin with other oil, but this is so much better! It makes my skin warm, smooth and very soft.I like the fresh smell. You shouldn't expect miracles from an anti cellulite product (a healthy lifestyle will work much better), but for a anti cellulite product this is great! It really works.

Okay I know anti-cellulite products are a racket, that being said this stuff is delish. I've used it for about 2 weeks in combo with skin brushing and massage and my skin is softer and smoother and dare I even say it less lumpy?? The smell is out of this world, lime and grapefruit is what is reminds me of. Lovely green glass bottle (I know some people don't like the weleda glass bottles but I do.) It might be the brushing and the massage but I don't care I'd buy it for the smell and the skin smoothing properties.
