Ok, so i know this scent is terribly 90's. It reminds me of hootie and the blowfish, being 14 and friends ( the TV show).
But today i saw a 100ml tester bottle selling for $5 AUD. So i bought it. And after sniffing it, i have come to the realiseation i dont care if its dated, or old or whatever, its a nice smell. A jeans and t shirt smell - simple and clean. You wouldnt wear this with a LBD, or even on a night out with girlfriends, but its perfect for jeans and a t shirt.
Plus who i am a knock a $5 perfume??

To put it plainly, this smells like an old t-shirt soaked in lemony snot. I've known a few people who can pull it off, but on me, it smells like nursing home.

i have always hated this. it smells like cheap drugstore scent over sweat. i have no idea how this ever became popular.

Oh yes... CK One, how I miss thee. Well, not really. After smelling it recently, I can't believe how enamoured my seventh grade self was with this fragrance ten years ago. It was my best friend's favourite, and all the "cool" kids wore it. Now, to me it reeks of the 90s, although it is refreshingly simple. Even the bottle is simple and undecorated.
The nostalgia factor keeps me coming back for more.

i use this for work everyday as its light citrusy and inoffensive and relativley cheap for everyday use in a big bottle. it comes in a see through glass bottle. quite a few people like how this smells refreshing and have commented on it. i think they might be discontinuing it. i prefer to keep this for the day and heavier floral scents for evening. its not unique its fair to say but it does the job quite nicely. i'll probably try something else when its finished though.

aaahh CK One ... like many reviewers I also wore this in college in the mid 90s everyday and when I ran out of the real stuff I bought some fake stuff. Memories. I'm giving it 5 lippies cos I loved it so much back then. Sadly, not now though. Every time I pass it in a perfume aisle I smile and sniff at it nostaligically, but I'm never actually tempted to spray some on myself. I'm not sure what it is - maybe I've outgrown it, maybe the scent is just dated.

Can I just say I am absolutely in looooove with this scent. Its got almost a mens cologne vibe to it which I think is perfect as a daytime scent. I bought this in one of those holiday gift sets and instead of one of those spray things I got just a plain ole hole and Im always scared this lovely perfume is going to fall out. I love this little minimalist old fashioned milk jay type thing going on though packaging wise :]

Awwwwwww..........memories of the mid-90's. :)
Whenever I smell this scent, I am instantly returned to the month of April, 1996, State FBLA conference. I was a freshman.
I am dancing with a very good looking boy, and he was wearing this perfume.
I had my first kiss to the song of Oasis's Wonderwall and to the aroma of CK one.
And everytime I smell this scent, I go back. Instantly. And that same chill that ran down my spine when he kissed me, comes back to haunt me. And everytime I hear Wonderwall by Oasis, I can faintly smell this somewhere in the corners of my mind.
I'll always love this scent. :)

I can't even say that this is safe. It's boring. It's not likeable, at all. But not something you could even dislike.

Okay this is how I was intrroduced to this product...Everyday a friend of mine would pick me up for school and when I got in the car I always wondered why it smelled so horrible. I thought something had spilled in it and gone bad. Well lo and behold I finally found out what it was it was her CK One perfume she kept in the car and sprayed herself with. This was one of the worst smelling things I have ever come across. It is really offensive to me and if I never ever smell it again I would be very happy.

Ck One reminds me of High school ! I used to wear it every day, every night, with every clothes ... A must have in my opinion ! Really light, a bit citrusy, top note of ananas, yummy but still unisex ! It has good lasting power and it's cheap for a CK fragrance. Go and get it's a staple !

It smells really sweet on me. It was very long-lasting on me.

I find this scent to be very boring. You could get the same affect by bathing in lemon dish soap.

Back in the mid-'90s, my college years, this stuff was sex in a bottle for lots of people and I bought the fake versions of it while collecting samples of the real thing. And I continued to do so even after the BF I gifted it to turned out to be gay and broke my heart. Now, with some of the mystique and popularity removed, I still enjoy the clean soapy freshness and light green-tea sillage of CKOne. The minimalist bottle with the brushed-metal cap is pretty cute, if a little dated. (The '90s were *so* minimalist). It's a great scent for summer, and for days when you can't stomach a heavy floral. As for the unisex thing, I find that this leans more toward the feminine. There are no leather/spice/woodsy notes that normally tether a man's scent. But some men wear it extremely well. Worth a try.

Love this perfume! I wanted something light and fresh and this is perfect. The smell is not overpowering or too sweet. It is great as an everyday perfume as I never get sick of it

It is simple, it is boring, it is cheappy looking ... but it is great! I use it when I don't know which other fragrance to wear or when I am at home and I still want to feel good. My 100ml bottle is almost empty now. Hmmm, time for repurchase?

I share a bottle of this with my husband. It was the only fragrance he wore when we first met, and a longtime summer HG of mine as well. I don't wear very many citrus-fresh scents but this is one that I still really enjoy. It reminds me of wild young summer nights years ago. It actually reminds me of more than that - I remember listening to the nearby alt-rock station (102.1 The Edge from Toronto - live from The Phoenix) blasting out Ministry and Nine Inch Nails and Pop Will Eat Itself while getting dressed up and made up to go out clubbing on the weekends. I can still feel the soft denim of my loose, low-waisted euro fit jeans and those snug shirts that used to do up at the crotch - can't remember what they were called now. Bodysuits? And my silver dog-tags hanging almost to my waist. Then topping it all off with hairspray and CK One. Somehow I don't feel it is as dated as some other scents that were popular around the mid-90s. To me it was - and is - delicious, uplifting and a true classic. Clean and sexy. I will never tire of it.

I can't actually wear this fragrance myself as on me it turns to bitter, acrid detergent in a matter of seconds, even if it suited me I doubt if I would wear it as I really don't have the personality for it- it's a little too casual for me. However it's always plesant to be out with someone else wearing Ckone- I have a friend whose obbsessed with it and on her it smells fantastic. Based on how she wears it I can honestly say I like it a lot, Citrus is one of the few fruity notes I actually enjoy in a fragrance and I like the clean, light simplicity of CKone, it's refreshingly unpretentious and I love the fact that it's so stereotypically teenage, I think it's become a kind of classic but I've found that very few people actually wear it now as it's associated too much with the 90's when it was first released.

I've been wearing this for years and always get compliments on it. It smells lovely on me, clean & light. (Just one spritz in the air is all you need.) It's my "everyday" scent.

This one really does bring back memories. Either of the countless YM/Seventeen magazine ads it was in or the hallways of my middle school. I always think of Kate Moss and just the whole 1996 year. I loved it then and still do. I hate trendy things and Ive always tried to not follow any fad but what can I say? Its a great, clean, lovely fragrance that I think smells sexy on a man and just as good on women. I'll probably forever have atleast one little bottle of this laying around.
