I lovee this stuff. I have searched for yearrrrs trying to find an eyeliner that doesn't smudge. This stuff stays put no matter what. Even on my waterline.
I hope they never stop making this stuff. I am obsessed.

Finally, a gel liner that is LONG LASTING and budge proof! My eyes are kind of small, so I often have the problem of eye makeup smudging into my crease. However, I've never had this problem with stila's smudge pots. They really give you the opportunity to make a very smokey, and sexy eye, and like I said, they're super long lasting. When you're in the mood for something a little less dramatic than a liquid liner, this is perfect! You can keep it simple and natural OR play it up for something more fun. It's a great product, give it a try! It's way better than any pencil I've used.

I got this while I was travelling in Taiwan. The SA helped me pick this shade, and I was totally obsessed with it later when I try on at home! The colour stays put and doesn't smudge or melt when in water, which is why i give it 5 lippies! Nice packaging, not too fancy! Would definitely make a re-purchase!

Smudge Pots in Cobalt is sexy, long lasting, and easy to apply with a good eyeliner brush. To me, this is one of the best products Stila makes. If you are looking for a good blue eyeliner that is not tacky (is that an oxymoron?) this is what you want; I recommend this for anyone with a similar complexion (fair skin, blue eyes, light hair); it brings out your eyes much better than black or brown, which in my opinion don't do justice for fair skin.

I love Stila Smudge Pots! I no longer use pencil eyeliners because these work much better for me and stay on all day without having to touch it up, even in humid weather. I purchased Black first, followed by Bronze, Jade, and then Brown. The Stila #28 brush works so nicely with them. Highly recommended and definitely will purchase again!

This is by far my favorite eyeliner. It stays on longer than any pencil and doesn't bleed into your eye if you make a mistake like liquid eyeliner. It is also great because I like picking which brush I will use instead of being stuck with the width of a pencil.

I absolutely LOVE this eyeliner. I usually have the problem of lining my top lid and then when I curl my lashes, I find that the liner isnt close enough to my lashes. I don't have this problem at all with the smudge pot, its basically goof proof. I bought it in gray but it looks pretty close to black, just right for daytime. It's the only liner I've ever used that STAYS on ALL day. I cannot say enough good things about the smudge pot, I'm getting brown next...defintely my HG.

I agree with the other reviews that this has great staying power. It is a little tricky to apply, but once you get the hang of it (and a little help from Stila brush #13), it goes on like a dream. It stays put longer than a pencil, but isn't as harsh looking as a liquid. My only complaint is the limited color selection. I wish they offered a purpley color to compliment my brown eyes. Other than that, it's perfect.

i tried this out on my hand and realized it didn't last quite long . however application is pretty easy if you use the right tools and make sure you break it in like the testers in stila (if not you don't get much results) i love the colour and it really stands out. however it took FOREVER to remove and by the end of it i looked like a racoon. most gel eyeliners i use only take a cotton square but i had to use several cotton squares and tissues to wipe it entirely.

I bought this via strawberrynet.com as we don't have Stila here in Manila. At first, I felt disappointed as I find it super difficult to apply. Found out I wasn't using the right brushes. I used the angled eyeliner brush and I find myself getting crooked lines (considering my hands are steady as I can do a very good line using liquid liners). After the right tool and practice, I would say this is one of my best buy! i got myself a Black color and it works wonders!!!! I've tried this to several colleagues and they love it as well, no need to reapply, it stays the whole day but it's easy to remove as well :)

I couldn't agree more. I really really like this eyeliner and I usually don't bother with eyeliners because they're messy, too wet, too dry or requires a hand steadier than that of a statue... This eyeliner is really easy to apply (I use NARS brush no 2 but you will find similar synthetic brushes cheaper) and can be layered until you're happy with the result. It is at the same time easy to remove AND has an extremely good staying power (I had this liner on while in an hour long bath and it didn't budge at all!) don't ask me how it's possible, it's just a makeup miracle! :)
I have this in Gray and like it very much. If it ever runs out I'll buy more!

I LOVE this!
Never before have I had such flawless eyeliner.
I was reading reviews of this and decided to buy this over fluidline. I went down to the store with the intention of buying black, but they only had grey. SO I BOUGHT THIS IN GREY! Dont be fooled by the colour, it may be called grey but it is really intense grey. Almost a black, and just as dramatic. Because im already very fair grey goes better on me.
I use this to draw cateye/winged eyeliner. and it is just amazing. glides on easily , and stays put the whole day through sweat and most likely tears! and is so easy to remove with olive oil... (yes use olive oil as a makeup remover)
It has serious staying power, even if you rub your eyes.
I dont use an eyeliner brush, i use an artist nylon 0 brush. Which to me is just as awesome as an eyeliner brush at a fraction of the price.
honestly you get so much product in the pot that I think it could last the whole year even if you apply eyeliner eveyday.
I love this stuff, just put it on in the morning and you wont ever have to touch up!

Compared to MAC's fluidline, not only is this more expensive, but is harder to apply. The colors are gorgeous, but the 'gel' just isn't as soft and easy to apply as fluidline.

I use Mac fluidline but thought I'd try the Stila smudgepot as it was inexpensive (bought plum from strawberrynet). Very disappointed. I find I can't apply it smoothly and then it soon flakes off. The problem isn't caused by the product drying out quickly - I bought it about 1 year ago and the product in the jar hasn't dried up at all. I don't have a problem applying the Mac fluidline (dipdown, shade, macroviolet, blacktrack) but I can see that the Mac is more a very thick cream (like barely melted chocolate), whereas the Stila is more of a waxy texture.

I got this product, becase i went to Sephora to get Stila's kohl eyeliner, but they were out in black, so i had read about the smduge pot, and decided to buy it. I like it alot, its really black, but it dries sooo fast, if you mess up its too late to try and just wipe it off. You got to bust out the makeup remover. Other than that i like it alot.
Will keep buying.

Guess i'll be going against the grain on this one... I have this in the brown color and it doesn't even show up on my golden-tan skin. It dried out within 2 weeks, and even when used wet does nothing for me. Maybe I should have stuck with my usual black... i'm not into subtle

i bought this eyeliner at the suggestion of an SA at sephora. i can't say i'm totally in love with it. (maybe that's because i'm not an eyeliner enthusiast) but the product is definitely worth the money you pay. first off, you really don't need much product.. a little goes a long way. second, it dries in 60 secs which is perfect if you want to create a smoky eye etc.. thirdly, you get a lot of product for the price you pay (and since you don't need to use so much, it can last a really long time). staying power is pretty good too... although i've had instances where i got panda eyes after a few hours.. (but maybe that was me). i've also tried smashbox, but i definitely prefer this over it. stila smudge pot is creamier and i personally it feels easier to put on than smashbox. i think i'll probably repurchase..unless i find a substitute..

I don't know why I waited so long to try this product. I absolutely love it. Using the proper brushes this product goes on smoothly and is easy to blend. It dries quickly, has great staying power and does not smudge and smear during the day. I have been a huge advocate and fan of MAC Liquidlast liner, but have to say I think I just found my new favorite!
I purchased the Gray Smudgepot which is a great compliment to my blue eyes.

I love this product! I used to use a a pencil to line my eyes and it was too much of a hassle. I would never get a smooth line and I was constantly wiping it off. But I bought this product a few days ago and it's amazing. It wasn't dry at all when I opened it. I use an eyeliner brush to put it on and I get a perfect line. There's enough in the pot to last you a long time. I will definitely buy again!
