This is a great lip balm. It does moisturizes my dry lips and prevents it from going flakey and such.
Personally, the color is a bit red for me. Also, I don't like how it comes in a container so you have to use your fingers to apply.
But for the price and how much you get out of it, and how it really does condition, it is a decent product.

i love this stuff. it really moisturizes well, my only complaint is that the color doesnt show on my lips. ill probably end up getting this in the plum color, but as a balm its definitely one of the best ive tried. i really like the packaging even though people seem to hate it. i use a brush with this but i can imagine it would be inconvenient in the future (i just bought it today)

this looks scary clown pink in the pot but it's actually a really pretty medium pink color. it goes on very smoothly and is very moisturizing. the vanilla smell is nice too. and so is the spf. i heard most cancers start in your lips so i got really freaked out. the only thing i'm not crazy about is the packaging. i wish it was in a stick instead of a pot. i don't like putting stuff on with my fingers

Fuschia fix is a bright pink in the pot but when applied it offers a sheer wash of colour. It's not too bright on but I'm sure you could layer it for more intensity but it isn't really the purpose of the product. Essentially it's a lip balm with a few added kicks like vitamin A, E, shea butter, almond oil to name a few. It does the job though and moisturises your lips leaving them nice and soft. It doesn't dry out on my lips and lasts quite a long time. Can't really detect any vanilla but I noted a kind of flowery-perfumed taste. Nothing I can't get used to though. The packaging is ok, it might seem unhygenic but I'm pretty much used to using pots of vaseline which is the same thing. You should also break into the product to get the best out of it, rather than just starting with that smooth layer when it's new. However, it is a bit pricy for what it does. I'm sure if Vaseline came up with a tinted product I would happily buy that instead of this.
**After having used this product for a while now and broken into the product, I realise how much I like this. It's not so flowery anymore and I think there is a slight vanillery scent to it. I like how it adds a little bit of colour and like to keep it in my bag instead of reapplying any lipsticks during the day. While Vaseline is great, it does not boast the added vitamins etc that this little pot offers!
***Update, I no longer carry this around with me anymore! I prefer carrying my tendertones as they seem more moisturising and the scent is much nicer. I still haven't returned to vaseline though...and don't plan to!

I have two of these, fuschia fix and soothing beige. I love their smell and taste! They are very smooth and buttery and I love putting them on and rubbing my lips together...its so soft! Fuschia fix is my favorite of the two. The pink color is girly and sweet, though it can look a bit bright when you apply a lot. A sheer coating gives you the right color, but unfortunately not enough moisturization! And soothing beige is just a brown neutral color. Maybe I should have gotten petting pink instead =( I think I will just buy the clear one from now on so I can enjoy the smell and texture =))

Great stuff. The color is perfect- brightens up my entire face in the most subtle way. It gives my lips the perfect "glow". It has the pleasant vanilla scent that can be expected from most MAC lip products. I don't really rely on it for preventing my lips from getting chapped or providing serious moisture, but it is good at keeping them smooth and soft. I appretiate the SPF 15 in this, too. The only complaint I have about this is that you have to smear your fingers around in a pot to get the product out. It's unsanitary and all, but I can live with this because the product itself is great. When I'm in a rush in the morning (which is practically everyday) this is the easiest and fastest way to give my lips a polished, "finished" look.

This is a really really pretty color. When I got this in Chicago, I had to go to 2 stores before I found this color. Other places were all sold out. It was werid, cuz one of the lady told me that it was "discontinued" but I find that hard to believe because I know other places in other cities had it readily available. Anyhow, I am not usually a big fan of MAC lip stuff, i find it to sticky and it feels uncomfortable on my lips. But I love this lip tint. Once the color is absolutely gorgeous, I am pale and asia so I usuallylike pinkish color. This was more purplish pink, anyhow it was so moisturizing and it smells quit nice. It last for a long time, that you dont need to reapply it every 5 minutes like some other brand. And when its on me, it gives a sheen gloss which I lose, cuz it doesn't make you lips look like its full of oil. When I layer that with my chanel lip gloss it lookes so lovely..omg..i would wear this every single day. And this pot will last me a long long time.

I like this a lot!
Colour looks soooooo scary but on my lips it's just a beautiful hint.
It's not glossy but gives a little shine (which I love because I don't like the effect "hey, I have unnatural and sticky lips").
In the counter I tried Petting Pink also and I think it doesn't give any colour at all. Plum perfect is another cute one, but I think Fuchsia Fix is the most beautiful on me.
The scent is great. In fact my best friend asked me what was it because it smells so good (and he is a man... you know, they rarely notice anything).
As a treatment is nice. I used to have dry lips and they used to bleed often... but now my lips are so comfortable! But it's true that you have to re apply several times a day.
The packaging is not a problem to me, in fact I think the little jar is cute... But if you are one of those who can't stand putting your finger on the product, stay away from this.
For everybody else, go and try it.

This is good stuff. I didn't expect it to be as moisturizing as it is - it really oes feel nice on the lips, and doesn't dry out and get gross like most tinted lip moisturizers do. I really love it. And the pink color is so nice and sheer, it gives a nice fresh-bitten lips look instead of being over-the-top pink. Love love love!

Who would have thought a fuchsia-ish color would be my HG?
Love the texture, the conditioning and the staying power. I am NC20 (slightly darker in Summer) with brown hair and hazel eyes. This makes me look polished in a casual way and fres, which is always a good thing.
I am not too fond of the packaging (easy contamination)but I might repurchase.
I am even thinking of stocking up on this.

I got this in a swap, that's why its so cheap to me :P The packaging itself is sturdy and nice and won't break or anything. The color itself looked really daunting in the pot and then went on almost sheer, so it was pretty strange. I kind of liked the vanilla scent to it, but it gets a bit artificial after a while. The balm is nice, I'd buy it again.

I have this in the stick form and haven't been too impressed with it so far. I find the texture sort of dry and unmoisturizing. I feel like I have to constantly reapply it and that makes the color too bright on my fair skin. I do like the vanilla smell, but this doesn't make it into regular rotation. Neutrogena Passion Fruit Boosting Balm is a much more moisturizing and reasonably priced tinted balm.

I love Mac tinted lip condioners in all their colours. It's a great makeup bag product. It's a lip conditioner, lip gloss, SPF 15 protection, and a nice light scent to it. The one drawback is the packaging. I'd rather it be in a tube rather then a pot for hygenic reasons.

I still don't know what the big deal is about these lip balms. I have tried two so far and I'm not that impressed. They're not much better than cheaper tinted balms on the market (my fave DG one is Neutrogena's Passionfruit Boosting Balm--translucent cherry red). The texture is lighter and slicker than I'd prefer (my HG lip balm in terms of texture is the Prada Shielding Balm) but it seems to keep healthy (not dry or cracked) lips soft and comfortable. I do not care for the faux vanilla scent as it sometimes seems a bit sour and chemical-y. Fuchsia Fix is a scary, hot fuchsia color in the tub, but a light swipe of it on my pigmented lips gives a light, cheerful pink tint. Too much and it looks "off" on my LLL/AAB complexion. You do get a perfectly enormous tub for your money, though I'd prefer a stick or squeeze tube. I got mine in a swap and probably won't purchase another when I'm through with it.

1st of all I love the yummy scent & the formulation is good espcially the great colour. I don't really like dipping my finger into the pot & I think it's quite expensive but you do get loads. Probably will repurchase unless I find something better.

I am always surprised when a lip treatment has color and still does its job—and Fuschia Fix really does! It has a lovely deep pink shade that can go on sheer or shiny, depending on amount applied, yet smoothes and soothes my lips! After wa-aa-ay too many years of drying lip color, this product is a nice treat. Plus the vanilla scent is light and not obnoxious to have under my nose—which is good, since the staying power of this product is an hour plus. I will definitely buy again.

This stuff is GOOOOD!!!! It's what you wear when you don't really want to wear much makeup - or when you want to look like you're not wearing any. It gives lips a very nice, natural and sheer pink tint - but not too sheer! It is not as bright on the lips as it appears in the packaging. And it feels very conditioning and smoothing. LOVELY!

UPDATE: Will not repurchase, this is basically super expensive Vaseline with tint and a vanilla smell.

I love the smell, the nice sheer color it gives to my lips, the moisturers + the sun-protection and this tends to last forever even when you use it everyday. But I find this product a bit pricey for what you get. If you read the ingredients this is mostly petroleum jelly ( aka vaseline ). And even if I use this very often, I still get dry lips.

i love this! usually i stay away from the color "fuschia" but i decided to give it a try since its gotten a lot of good reviews on here.. the color is soo sheer and i love the vanilla smell.. it's not too sticky and i believe it has a spf as well which is a plus. i bought this almost 2 yrs ago and i still have some left.. i will buy this again when i run out which probabbaly wont be for a while. everyone should try this if you are looking for a sheer color that enhances your lips.
