I used the entire Dr. Hauschka line for 2 months as recommended by another MUA member; however my results were less than desired. I did notice an improvement with my skin's moisture content as well as a decrease in the appearance of blackheads on my nose and chin. The tiny bumps associated with the blackheads did not go away however, and at about 6 weeks I began to get large breakouts on my cheeks, not the usual size or location for me, so I have now discontinued the line.
Specific to this product, I have combination skin and this moisturizer did not reduce the amount of oil my skin produced in the T-zone.

This moisturiser smells good and has a runny consistency - it absorbed well but after an hour or so my face felt too greasy. I have combination Asian skin.

Be careful!! This moisturizer is v. watery!! You'll prob need less with this one than with others. While this moisturizer has a lovely scent, it didn't do much for my skin. It said that it is not suitable for skin with couperose conditions, which I don't suffer from. However, my skin IS quite sensitve and thin, so I somehow felt that my face looked red after using this moisturizer.
Am sure it's still a v. good moisturizer, just not for me.

HG ALERT!!! This cream is absolutely the best moisturizer I've ever used. Yes, the consistency is thin- but that's because this cream is packed with oil after oil, so apply sparingly! And even with all of those oils in it, I haven't come close to breaking out. I thought that wearing oils on my face all day long would make my face turn into a grease pit, but I'm actually LESS oily than before. And my face is getting smoother and clearer day by day. This cream became my HG two nights ago when I was taking off my makeup. I rinsed the Hauschka Cleansing Milk (also fantastic) off my face and became annoyed because there was clearly still makeup left on my face (it was smooth and clear and even and glowy- not usually how my skin looks without makeup). So I broke out a makeup removing wipe and swiped my face. I look down at the wipe, and it is white as the driven snow. All of that clear, even, glowing skin was me, not mineral makeup. I freaked out! I've tried every moisturizer you can think of to try to get my skin looking like it did when I was 16, and nothing has worked half as well as Hauschka. I love wearing it during the day (it feels so extravagant and lush), and I love taking it off at night (and seeing my skin GLOW!). I love the smell and the feel of it, and I don't care about the glass packaging, because honestly, this stuff could come packaged in an old running shoe and I would worship it! And about the price- a 3.4 oz. bottle goes for $60 at Sephora: I bought TWO 3.4 oz. bottles on eBay for $40.85. Go eBay!!! Try this beautiful moisturizer if you can- it's worked wonders for me!

I actually prefer the Quince and Rose creams to this, as it's not quite moisturizing enough for me. But it is light and lasting, gentle on sensitive skin, and smells lovely. It's nice to use under the other Dr H creams on windy/freezing days, and the packaging is better than the aluminum tubes. It's expensive but a really high-quality cream. If your skin's not too dry, I'd suggest trying a sample of this. Like all of Dr H's products, after the first few weeks of use, you suddenly notice that your skin's become clear, even, soft, and luminous.

Yes, my favorite facial moisturizer! It's the only one that doesn't leave my slightly-breakout-prone skin too oily or too dry. Great balance! I use it only in the morning and it keeps my skin soft and lovely all day long. I like its runny texture (feels so light!) and its lovely scent.

One of the best, most versatile face creams I have ever come across... I go back to it frequently, and have used it on-and-off for probably 10 years. It is very light and quenching, and it literally feels like a "drink" for your skin. I use it at night (it doesn't have an spf and also is a bit too "sheeny" for the day for me) when I really feel dried out, and as a PM eye cream if I don't have anything else around (I'm not too fussy) (for ref. I have your basic combo skin, tend to break out in a very minor way, slightly sensitive). The best part is just how light, yet effective it is. The price is actually reasonable for a bottle of quality face cream, but I have someone get in Germany for me, where it is 1/2 the US price. The smell is refreshing- not too exotic or overpowering, not perfumy either. Overall excellent-- makes me feel like I am giving my skin vitamins!

I have been using this product for the past few months simply because I don't want to waste it. I would say it is above average- fairly moisturizing, doesn't break me out (huge because I have sensitive skin), I do like the smell. The other thing I like is that the product is more natural than most I have used and easier on my skin. However, the bottle is cumbersome to travel with. Other than moisturizing my skin, it just doesn't seem to brighten it much. While it is not the most expensive moisturizer I have ever bought, it's not that impressive. I'm convinced there is something out there that will work on fine lines and vibrancy. Next on the list is Weleda or Neostrata.

This is way, way more than I'm used to paying for a moisturizer, but I think it's a good value in the long run. It is a very rich moisturizer, despite the deceptively thin and runny texture, and you only need a small amount (less than one full pump--I have combination skin and only use about a dime-sized amount) for each use. I warm it up between my palms and press it into my skin, all over my face when it's still damp from the Clarifying toner.
I have a feeling that the people who have complained that this was too greasy and making them break out were using way too much at one time. Everything in this line is rather 'concentrated', particularly the moisturizers, so you do not need to use as much as you'd normally use. After using this, my skin is left petal-soft and comfortable all day (even in the dead of winter with nearly arctic winds). I get a bit shiny in my T-zone midday and need to blot, but that's it.
This comes in a glass pump bottle that is not my favorite thing in the world, but adequate. I love the fact that this is all-natural and with a minimum of unnecessary ingredients--I did read the comment below about this going bad quickly and am a little worried. Perhaps I'll keep this in the fridge once the days get warmer. There's a light, woodsy, herbal scent but it goes away and hasn't proved bothersome at all. Downsides are that it's very expensive (though the cost kinda works out in the long run, as I stated earlier) and not widely available. Also, I'm pretty sure this will be too much for me once it starts getting hot and humid around here.
I've only been using this in conjunction with the Cleansing Cream and Toner for the past few weeks and will update in a few months. But for now, I'm pleased as punch.

NO BETTER MOISTURIZER IN THE WORLD - HOLY GRAIL HANDS DOWN....may seem liquidy at first (especially for those with dry skin) but it takes little time to see that it works wonders dispite its consistency. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this mixed with the Hauschka Transluscent Bronzer...if you feel like your skin needs an extra bit of healing or renewing put the QUINCE day cream over this and if you feel you need more moisturizing than the daily moisturizer, but the ROSE day cream over it...NEVER substitute this moisturizer, it's the basic staple of the line and you'll need it even if you truly need the Quince or Rose cream on top.***As I always say, to really get the benefit of Hauschka: (1) you have to use the whole line together to get the best effect, and (2) you have to use the line for at LEAST two months to REALLY see the difference. Check out my review for the Hauschka Cleansing Milk...it's a REALLY indepth review about the whole line....if you don't know where to get the line, I know spas and boutiques usually carry it, Whole Foods carries it, but I ALWAYS get my products at Sephora (sephora stands behind all the products they carry so it's a safe buy).

So far this is the best moisturizer I have ever had. I can't even remember what I used to use before I found this. It gives my face this natural glowy and dewy look. It lasts forever cause you only need a little bit, especially if you live in the West Coast. I used to live in San Francisco and I know this doesn't make any sense but SF has the perfect weather for this moisturizer. I live in Chicago now and during winter I need to put a little extra and during summer I need to put a little less cause if you put it too much it will make your skin looks oily. It is a perfect combination with my Stila Illuminating foundation. It smells really good too.
The downside, as you can guess, it's hella expensive. This is the most expensive moisturizer I have ever purchased, and yet I enjoy every single drop of it. You can just put this rich moisturizer and light powder on your face, and you will be ready to go. It's so good I have to keep my husband away from it.

My staple, HG day and night moisturizer. Reasonable price and the only moisturizer that really works for my hypersensitive combi skin. Feels very light yet moisturizes well - but may be too light for those with dry skin though. Think this is more suited to combi and oily skin types. Dr Hauschka is one of the VERY few lines that I consistently have good results with due to my sensitivity.

This moisturizer feels really great on. It has a refreshing, soothing quality. It's light, and doesn't have sunscreen, so I only use it at night, if I'm going out, before I put on make up. I have somewhat sensitive skin, and the natural ingredients have a healing sensation. I don't like the pump, though, because it's dificult to get the last of the product out.

Fabulous moisturizer! I've tried a lot of them and after being a La Mer fan for years I decided to try this as the cost is much better and amazingly my skin looks fabulous. I have dry skin that gets super dry in winter (so I may have to use something richer then but so far, so good) and this goes on soft and my foundation (I use Laura Mercier Oil Free cause of consistency) goes on beautifully. My skin looks radiant, is soft and doesn't break out. I really like this moisturizer and will repurchase. I tried the Cleansing Cream and may get that too and see how the two work together.
I highly recommend if you have dry or combo skin!

Although the 'natural' smell of this product was nice (if a bit strong), after putting it on, i began to feel a slight tingling on my face.. this tingling developed into a severe burning.. i immediately washed it off and soaked my face in milk.. no negative after effects occurred, but i guess i was sensitive to something in the lotion.. would definitely not rebuy!

Great, great moisturiser. I've tried everything for dry/combination skin that still gets breakouts. And everything was either too rich/not rich enough or made my skin irritated/oily/uncomfortable. This sinks in, gives you a healthy glow, feels and smells amazing and makes my skin very happy indeed.

This suits me very well, although on some days when my face is generally oilier (must be the hormones) it can still be abit oily. But the scent and after effects leave me nothing to complain.

First of all, I hate the smell of this product, very unlike typical Dr. Hauschka skin care line. It's difficult to explain how it smells...no soothing nor calming effects as other products have. It doesn't do anything much to my skin and I won't buy this product again, although I will stick with the Dr. Hauschka cleansing/toning regime as well as the rose cream.
