Age: 25-29 Skin: Oily, Fair-Medium, Warm Hair: Black, Straight, Medium Eyes: Black
Reference: Oily, very warm/yellow NC25/30 skin. I matched 4.0 the best. 3.0 was very close but slightly too light.
There's not much that hasn't been said about this foundation. I love the pump packaging! I like applying this foundation to my face with my fingers because brushes made it look streaky and a sponge soaked up too much of the light formula. The formula is watery and doesn't look or feel like you have anything on! The finish is skin-like but more on the matte side, which was a pleasant surprise on my oily skin. You don't absolutely NEED to set it with a powder, but I do out of habit to make it last longer.
This foundation has surprisingly good coverage for something so watery, but I could only build it up to medium coverage. My acne scars still peeked through and I had to cover them up with concealer instead. I'd say this is a great foundation for people who have good skin to begin with and just want to even out skintone or combat redness. It won't do too much for serious scars or raised pimples.
Lasting power was SURPRISINGLY good for such a light foundation. I only had to blot about 7-8 hrs in. It still looked pretty good around 12 hrs in, although it faded slightly (it fades evenly so it doesn't look obvious or patchy). I wouldn't recommend taking this foundation hiking or anything, but it should get through an office or school day just fine.
Overall, this is a fantastic everyday foundation for combo/oily skin. Minor cons - It's a tad pricey for those on a budget, and I think you have to have realistic expectations for what it's capable of. It WILL look very skin-like, but it's not meant to last through harsh circumstances / bad weather and it won't cover every blemish. (NOTE: I think that the matte-like finish will make it drying on dry-skinned individuals.)

I've tried SO many foundations. High end, drugstore and everything in between. I have pretty good skin, but I do have issues with redness. This has become my HG foundation. It doesn't look cakey at all, and my giant pores disappear, especially when I press in a setting powder with a puff. In terms of color, I really feel like I got a great match with 3.0. UD also seemed to really listen to what people actually want when it comes to packaging. The product is a very thin liquid and I've found a little goes a long way, so you have to be careful how much you press on the pump.
The best thing about this foundation, by far, is the feel of it. It really is very light feeling and comfortable. You're not going to get heavy, or even solid medium coverage, but for anyone who doesn't need to do much more than even out redness, I would DEFINITELY recommend this. I haven't experienced any breakouts with it and it looks and feels more natural than any foundation I've ever tried. It's what all makeup should feel like!

I have been using this foundation since it released... which is rare since most foundations I have an issue with and end up exchanging or not using.
PROS: (for me at least)
- medium coverage, yet buildable.
- satin finish, not matte, not dewey... which is nice for the combo skin gal who can never make up her mind, like me!
- I never do touch ups, and this foundation lasts.
- looks great topped with a light powder
- applies even better with a primer, but not needed for a great application (I wear Revlon's)
- I personally like how thin it is. I cannot stand thicker foundations, they never set on my skin.
- Bottle is beautiful and a durable plastic. (im not a fan of glass)
- Shade range is pretty wide
- solid enough for summer, yet soft enough for winter.
CONS:
- my first bottle's pump broke, and it was not pretty... second bottle is just fine. Might have been my mistake.
- If you do not moisturize your skin, this will not work for you. I find days I do not moisturize by accident, the oils from my face makes this foundation move A LOT
- Colors jump from one shade to too dark or too light.
- Yellow and Pink tones... not too much in the middle. I'm very yellow, but the neutral gal may have difficulties finding a shade.
This foundation is great for me, but it is easy for it to look wrong. Moisturize the skin well, use a buffing brush for application, and dust a light powder over. And you will acheive a really nice canvas :-) I am:
NC25 in winter = Shade 3.0
NC35ish in summer = Shade 4.0

After testing out this product for some time, I can safely say that I do not like this foundation. It has wonderful coverage yet still lets your skin show through, which is great. However, it gets very cakey on my skin no matter what tool I use to apply it. Also I find that it accentuates any flakes or dry patches you have, even if you don't even know they are there. Also, when I wore this under my eye area before concealer-- bad idea. It made my concealer application look patchy and just all around terrible. So I wouldn't exactly use the words natural, weightless, or invisible to describe this foundation.
The color match was ok, I found the .0 shades yellow enough for me but the shades go from kind of a big jump, for example 2.0 is too light for me in my current pale, winter state but 3.0 is too dark. The packaging is great, practical and sanitary.
I find that this foundation transfers like crazy as well! I occasionally wear glasses and this foundation will rub off all over this foundation! The oil control is alright, not spectacular but it is better than a lot of foundations. I would say that I last around 4 hours without getting shiny, which is pretty good for my skin.
I don't have sensitive skin, but this may or may not be breaking me out, it is hard to tell... Anyway, I will not be buying this again but I'm glad I gave it a go.

I love this product, the coverage is amazing while being exceptionally light in consistency. It feels like I'm not wearing anything on my skin at all. It has a demi matte finish, which works well with my combination/slightly oily skin. The only con is that it doesn't last very long, even with a primer. I'm talking about only lasting 4-5 hours. Otherwise it's perfect.
For reference I wear NC15 in Mac products, and am a shade 1 in this, which matches perfectly.

This foundation has been my holy grail. I have very severe acne scars and discoloration and I've been searching for the right foundation with perfect yet natural coverage and long wear. This is the match! Naked foundation will truly impress you in terms of photography and great coverage. Bonus points for the fact that there is a wide variety of shades so surely you'll find your perfect color. In all, I highly recommend this foundation...it's worth every dollar!

I love this product! I must say, the color selection is a little odd. I feel like all of the colors have a yellow undertone to them, but I am pink toned and I ended up with 3.0 which doesn't look too yellow on me. It was weird, because I strangely could wear all the colors under 3.0 at the time. The only other flaw I have with this makeup is the packaging. I LOVE that it has a pump, which I have had no problem with. But the top comes off WAY too easily. I discovered that I cannot travel with this foundation at all because it ends up getting everywhere in my makeup bag. Anyways, I ended up loving it despite the flaws! It really is weightless, I usually forget I even have it on! It lasts awhile too, most of the day for me (oily skin). I create a really nice finish when I use my E.L.F. flat-top powder brush for application. Also, if you have MAC Studio Fix Powder, it goes perfect with this foundation, at least on me. I usually set my foundation with the powder, and they fit very well together. Also, the price for this foundation was a bit much for me, so ask for a sample to use before buying it. Overall, I would definitely buy the foundation again!

I've been using this about 3 weeks now, and I admit I did not like at first. I went from using a beauty blender to a brush because of the thin consistency of this make up. After I leaned to properly apply it, it's AMAZING how little is needed (only pump +half) and how wonderfully blend-able it is and yet, if combined with the Urban Decay All-Nighter, expect it to last not only all day but if you rub your face against something, it STAYS! Not only does it make my face look amazing but it feels like it can "breath"! It does an amazing job at giving me the little coverage I need over certain areas and ability to cover those ugly blackheads when they come out, without looking uneven.

I will be buying this again for sure. I found my match easily and most foundations are either too yellow or too pink/orange on me (I'm more of a neutral). As a Revlon colorstay whipped foundation fangirl I'm surprised to say that this thin consistency is so comfortable on; to the point where I have permanently switched! My absolute favourite part about this foundation is that it really looks like skin, no matter how much I seem to layer on. I have normal skin that leans towards oily with lots of acne scars (post- accutane) and it seems to stay with me all day whether I am outside in the drying air or sweating at work. This makes my face look almost flawless and calls for a flat topped kabuki to give the buffed-in-perfect-skin look I mentioned previously.

I was very excited when I heard about the product, but I waited a while before purchasing because it's a bit pricey (45$ canadian I believe)
But, it really is a great foundation, the color matches me nicely (actually a couple of the shade options did) and it feels VERY light weight. The only thing I will say is make SURE you have a good moisturizer before you buy it, otherwise it might stick to your skin and look cakey in some spots. Primer would also be a very good idea.
I tried applying it with a couple of different tools, and found that the brush that they advertised with it really is the best way to apply is, so that might be another thing to look in to. Over all, I would and will buy this product again.

I'm going to start off this review by informing you I have KP (Keratosis Pilaris). If you have it you'd understand how important and difficult it is to find a good foundation that makes everything look even without being cakey. This one does the job very well!
I had gotten a sample in from urban decay and when I used it I was VERY impressed. Because I was running out of my other foundation, I decided to take a leap of faith and buy the 38.00 bottle.
My favourite things about it are:
-Easily blendible and not cakey.
-A small amount goes a long way
-The packaging (comes with pump)
- It gives me the look of smooth 'natural' yet almost perfect skin . You could not notice my KP at all!
-The staying power of this was very good on it's own when I tried it without Skindinavia spray.
Because it's 'naked' i.e. lightweight certain really red spots and under eye darkcircles will still need concealer. I occasionally build the product in problem areas for a medium coverage and overall more natural look for days when I don't need to be 'perfect' lol.
In conclusion, I love it & it was worth the $38.

i really like how light this foundation is and it really matched my skin very well. i use 1.0 after having tried 3.0 because the sales lady told me that's what i was when it was WAY too yellow for me. 1.0 is perfect. one thing i don't like is that even with moisturizer and primer on underneath, some parts of my cheek near by nose, and about 3/4 of my forehead and the spot between my eyebrows were so cakey when i first put it on. i had to scrub off the foundation there and use a very thin layer, like barely dipping my brush into it to make it look alright. i think it's just my skin hating liquid foundation though. i don't know how to go about fixing that :< but i barely noticed i had it on through the day and i really liked the coverage. another thing is the price but i guess that's what you get for brands like ud.

I love that this foundation really does feel like you're wearing nothing...I had no problem finding my colour...I have warm undertones so all the ones labeled with a 0.5 fall under cool tones and the solid numbers would be the foundations with warm undertones...I was debating between 5.0 and 6.0, the 6.0 however was just a tad darker then my skintone so I went with 5.0... It matches me beauifully, it goes on smoothly, very blendable. The coverage is light-medium, you will likely have to use concealer on your blemishes as I found the foundation evened out my skin, gave me a nice matte, yet glowy look, but you could still see the blemishes through the foundation. This would be a great foundation for everyday wear, however, on special occasions, I would prefer to use a foundation with more coverage. Either way, I would definitely repurchase this foundation!

This stuff is great. I love the way it feels so light on the skin. I would compare this to the mufe hd foundation because it also feels really light. The price of this at sephora was around 38 dollars and thats the average for a foundation. I will def repurchase this it last all day and doesnt oxidize which is a plus! In reference I am 115 in mufe and in this i am 3.5 which has pink undertones.

Hi all! I want to start off by saying this foundation is pretty amazing. It really does have a weightless feel to it! This is an excellent foundation if you are looking for something to wear to work and don't want to look "overly" made-up. Which is why this foundation and Makeup For Ever's HD Foundation are very different: This is a medium coverage foundation. I've discoverd that MUFE is medium to full and is quite heavier in weight in comparison to UD Naked Skin. The composition of this foundation is much "runnier" than MUFE's. MUFE is better if you
want that high defintion look and are going out. If you want to look more like the girl next door, then this is for you.
During application, I suggest you work with one side or one area of your face at a time as this foundation can dry quickly. I, personally, don't see a need to use UD's optical brush that they suggest you use. I had it applied with that brush at Sephora and it goes on too thick. I use a flat foundation brush by SOLO that I bought from Walgreens. Works perfectly.
To give you my shade area, I'm exactly N177 in MUFE'S HD Foundation and Deep in Pur Minerals 4-in-1 pressed powder. The shade I was matched for is 9.0 in this foundation. It's still winter for me right now, so I may have to mix the 9.0 and 10.0 come summer. (That's why I took off one lippie for overall rating.) I don't recommend overapplying this makeup. Go over your face once and leave it alone... I say that exclusively for you out there who know your exact shade in MUFE and notice that your UD Naked Skin shade foundation is slightly off but you know the next one up is too dark. For me, this 9.0 is just a smidge too light, even for my winter skin, but it works. If I apply too much (I tried to "build" the coverage), I look washed out and gray...no good at all.
As far as longevity goes...hmm. I work in a pharmacy standing from 7-10 hours a shift. I'm acne prone and within 3-4 hours into my shift, my face begins to noticeably become oily. But with this foundation, my face just looks dewy and not oily and gross like cheaper, drugstore foundations like Maybelline's Fit Me.
My routine for this foundation is to prep my skin with MUFE's primer, UD Naked Skin foundation then set it with Kat Von D's Lock-n-Load Setting Spray (it's awesome-sauce and better that UD's own All Nighter Setting Spray).
All in all, if you're transitioning from a BB cream and want to try a liquid foundation, I believe you can definitely start here. And for you oily, acne prone folks out there like me, this foundation is paraben free! 5 hours into your day, you're going to look dewy...not that oily, greasy look we all hate. This foundation hasn't broken me out. For you out there looking for long lasting makeup, keep looking. This isn't for you. After 9 hours, your skin will begin to peek through but your face will still look like the girl next door. This makeup will transfer after a few hours given enough pressure between you and the article your face is pressed against. So tell your sweetie you do indeed have makeup on and watch out for his/her collar.
Get a sample of this foundation from your local Sephora and see how you like it. I recommend you buy a brush to apply this versus your fingertips. You'll waste much more foundation by using your fingers. Good luck and enjoy the pretty bottle in your bathroom once you buy it!

The makeup itself I would rate at 4, but the packaging is just so bad I had to take off a number for it, even though the packaging has its own rating. After a few uses, whenever I used the pump, the liquid started coming out of three places, no matter how much I tightened the top. THEN I went away and packed the foundation in my carry on, before I did it, I tightened the top and put on the lid, then when I was unpacking, I find my makeup back covered in foundation, I still don't know where it leaked out of and how it got all over. Coming home I put the foundation wrapped up in paper towels and its own bag and wrapped it in rubber bands to make sure that the cover stayed on and stuck it in the corner of my carry to make sure it wasn't moving around at all and it still leaked everywhere. So I went from more than 3/4 of the bottle to about a 1/4 of the bottle just from traveling, not including using it.
Now for the makeup itself, I did like the foundation quite a bit. Before I was using Dior Airflash, applied with a brush, for fuller coverage but since my skin is looking better I wanted something lighter. I also got the Naked Skin in a 2.0 and it was a great match for my fair skin, and still let my always rosy cheeks come through a bit. It was sheer enough but didn't have a shiny finish and also wasn't completely matte. I applied lightly with my fingers and used a flat top brush to buff everywhere. I did find working in sections to be best because it does dry very quickly and if you try and do anything with it after it dries it becomes almost sandy. Using a primer under this also improved the finished look, if I didn't use a primer the foundation seemed to appear really dry around my pores after awhile which is not a good look.

A bare minerals girl to the core for its skin healthing benefits. I was on the hunt for something more suitable for a night out on the town that wasn't going to damage my skin. I am impressed with this foundation. I've been wearing it daily for about 2 weeks. It has not broke me out or caused my black heads to appear deeper. One pump and I gain flawless, natural coverage. First squirting it onto the back of my hand, then dotting around my eyes and redness. I blend it out with an EcoTools Retractable Kabuki brush. I think some have overlooked the "shake before use" lable. This could be causing the undesirable oily/watery texture theyre are referring to.

This foundation has a very watery, thin texture, but has buildable light-to-heavy coverage. It glides on smoothly and is also very natural looking and controls oil quite decently. If you're a fair-med asian girl like me that has always had trouble finding the PERFECT shade of foundation (Always too pink or orange...) then 3.0 is the ABSOLUTE DREAM shade for you. The color is just spot on- a tiny bit brightening but not in an ashy or pink way at all... just glowing and better-than-skin kind of effect. But don't get me wrong, it's not oily or shimmery at all, and dries quite matte as well. I have totally oily skin, and this gives me a non-shiny, natural finish. However, it WILL emphasize every flake and dry patch on your face, even if it's super minimal. Also, the foundation smells REALLY chemically... At first, when i got the sample to try it out, I thought I had perhaps gotten a bad batch or maybe that the sample was really old. However, when I bought it I realized that the foundation just naturally smells suuuper chemically. I'm not usually that sensitive with smells or anything (quite tolerant/ don't care) but this really has a very strong smell that I quite deteste.. Luckily, because the foundation is in a pump and only dispenses a little bit at a time, it doesn't smell TOO bad every time you use it. But it may really annoy those with sensitive noses!
-Breakdown-
Pros:
- Pump is hygienic
- Sleek, modern packaging <3
- PERFECT shade (asian 3.0)
- Great semi-matte finish
- Doesn't get too oily
- Glides on beautifully & smoothly
- Buildable light-med-heavy coverage
Cons:
- Smells SUPER chemically :(
- Expensive
- Emphasizes dryness & flakes

Horrible I have normal skin and this was like applying sand to my face. It's is SOO dry. :( I think this foundation might work if you have an extremely OILY!! Skin, otherwise it's very chalky and dry... I tried primer, no primer, heavy moisturizers, lotions!!! It sucks all of the natural oils in your skin! And I don't even have very dry skin! Also I am a 7.0 and it looks very white and muddy...... 8.0 is like BLACK!!!! Worst product! :( I also bought the good karma optical blurring brush you use with it and did no good!!!

Color 11 was so grey and dry and ashy looking on this dark brown skinned girl even though it looked like a good match when swatched on the back of my hand. Unfortunately, it made my skin look dusty and every pore was obvious. I tried the next shade up - 12 is the darkest color available and it turns out is a much better match for me. The shades apparently apply differently than they appear in the bottle.
It is light and feels weightless and once set blends nearly seamlessly with my skin. The demi-matte finish is a little tricky for my combination skin though: cheeks can look a bit dry while my t-zone looks normal on application. I switch to a more moisturizing moisturizer than usual when I'm wearing it to balance the matte finish in my drier areas. After a long work day, my face still looks pretty good although my t-zone definitely has some shine and there may be some creasing around my mouth. I liked the finish best when applied with a stippling brush. One pump gives me the perfect medium coverage that lasts about 5 hours without primer. Photographs really well and looks natural as it wears. With a primer and/or setting spray, it lasts even better and transfers less.
I like the slim tube and haven't had any problems with it leaking and I love that the pump is neat and controllable. I'm not a fan the artificial scent, but it's not lasting or bad. This is my favorite liquid makeup so far by a lot.
