I have my shiny back!!! I wanted to wait a whole week before writing a review but couldn't do it. I'm five days in, and wow. My hair LOVES to look greasy, but this doesn't weigh it down or grease it up at ALL. Even with dry shampoo for a second day my hair stays shiny, whereas normally my trade off with dry shampoo is dull hair. I've also noticed a huge change in the texture of my hair - some of the styling products I've been using have been leaving it a little stiff. I've been hesitant to harsher cleansers due to my coloring (red), and I don't want to over condition (fine hair that loves to be limp and greasy). Even using some Pureology products I just felt like my hair wasn't getting soft (if that makes sense). This stuff? Wow. After one day it's like I have new, soft hair that keeps volume. And it's so, so cheap (I mentioned that I paid for Pureology, right?). Just buy it and try it and love it!

I LOVE THIS!!!!! This a amazing and it also acts as a heat protectent and it just makes your hair super soft and I like not to use it every time I wash my hair because it makes it softer because otherwise if you use it every time you wash your hair it just use to it or you get use to it and you stop seeing the great results. Here are some pros and cons:
Pros:
Makes hair soft and shiny
It smells really good
It lasts a long time
Its something around three dollars
Cons:
The smell does not stay in your hair
If you use to much it looks like your hair is greasy

This is my favorite kind of product-- inexpensive, easy to find and actually does something. I became obsessed with Ojon's Damage Reverse oil but at $25 a pop, it was heartbreaking. Finding something that really helps but is out of your price range sucks! This Garnier Moroccan oil does EXACTLY the same thing. I rub a quarter-sized amount between my palms and run it through my hair, careful to avoid my scalp, then I straighten it. It stays SO soft and tame for 3-5 days, seriously. I hope they don't discontinue it.

This is a light, easy to distribute silicone serum that I initially thought was approx the same as any other silicone/shine serum, until I flat ironed. I noticed much more shine than other products (I used Biosilk then Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide for years, my hairdresser is a Moroccan Oil fan) without any weird heavy/greasy spots - this product distributes very easily and I think spreads out even more when heat is applied, so I can get a good coating over all my hair without ending up w spots that are overly coated or look dirty. This doesn't weigh my hair down hardly at all - maybe a little without heat styling (fine 3a curls) but definitely still very bouncy with heat styling. Heat styling also seems to bring out extra shine w this product.
The smell of this product is such a pleasant change from the regular Fructis sent, I wish they would change them all - it's more like a higher end product instead of the overly sweet fragrance they typically use.
Overall will definitely repurchase. There could be better serums out there, but I like this better than the salon brands I've tried and it was around $4, hard to beat that.

Awesome! I've used for 3 times now after the shower when my hair is wet. I liberally apply it to my scalp and hair with a brush and wait for my hair o dry. When it does, it is sooo soft and sleek. My hair used to be just plain bleh but now it's awesome!

Pros
- decreases drying time
- protects from heat styling
- reduces frizz
- not greasy
- lightweight
- adds shine
Cons
- not really a Moroccan oil product
Comments: Pure Moroccan oil is hard to come by, so I expected another silicone-filled oil...which it is. Silicone works for my hair so long as its in the styling product and not a conditioner. I use this when heat styling only. It adds more shine and softness to my hair and if I need my hair to air dry quicker...this is great for that too. I also love the way this stuff smells.
Will repurchase.

I saw the good reviews here and decided to try it out. After washing my hair, I rubbed 5 drops of this on my hands and ran them through my towel-dried hair, then let it air dry. My hair was definitely softer, but it still looked frizzy. I'll try this again tonight using more serum, but so far I'm not impressed. This is on sale at CVS right now for 3/$10, plus I had a coupon. Regular price was $6.49.

After researching on MUA, I decided to give it a go; Argan oil is the product of the moment, and I have read an article or two. GF was doable since it is easily found- don't even get me started on Color Tattoo Barely Beige! It was about 5.99 and I had a dollar coupon. It smells nice, not fruity. I have fine hair and am growing my grey but have some dry, brittle ends. I plan on trying it in the morning ; thanks to MUA reviewers, your input really helps!UPDATE :like it so far, great as overnight treatment and nice after shampooing! UPDATE 2: I have finally rid myself of the results of the Big Perfect 10 disaster of '08! All natch, hoorah! Do much softer! Using just a few drops on damp hair or small amt in conditioner. Nice product for the mass market.

This.. Didn't do anything beneficial for my hair. Ugh I should of seen it coming but was so excited because of all the rave I've been hearing for this. This product made my hair frizzier and oily even faster. No matter how much I used (lessened it) or how I distributed it to my hair (sectioned my hair and applied DIME sized amounts, to my ends slowly working up, allpossibleways), but no improvement in the result. It also has quite a strong..mix between a medicinal smell and floral..? And it doesn't go away until you shampoo it out.

May 2013 - No longer using this. Cyclops clogs my like no other and broke my face out along the hairline. Still think it smells nice but has been binned.
Orig: Never expected to like this. Not nearly as cone-filled as standard serums and does a nice job with taming my frizzy, coarse hair. Also it smells really nice - not cloyingly fruity like most Fructis products. Definitely buy again.

FINALLY!!!! I have finally found a HG product!! I cannot say enough good about this product! I have dry wavy hair that is damaged. I have tried so many things. I was pretty happy with Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum but it was expensive and didn't always tame the frizz and tended to make my hair greasy. But this one is a winner! I use it after I towel dry my hair. You really can't use too much. Once my hair dries it is soft and the ends are sleek and even hold a soft pretty curl all day. I also love that I can get away with only washing my hair every other day. Even day two my hair is soft and healthy looking. So love it!!!

This is my latest addiction! I bought this last week and so for my hair has improved! I use in in the shower in my conditioner, I use it on my scalp and hair and it stays moisturized and not greasy at all. This works great for all ethnicity, this is for sure a universal product. Use it on your body too for stretch marks. The smell is fab, and it makes you feel as if you just left a salon.

i do like this treatment a lot. but the scent is a bit too strong for me, and since i air dry my hair, it doesn't smooth as well as it seems to for the other reviewers. i still have quite a bit of frizz. my HG remains the kevin murphy motion lotion which is utter perfection but 4 times as expensive as this garnier one. so now i alternate between the two.

OMG........this stuff is so awesome!!! Again, thank you MUA reviewers for helping me find such an amazing product! I can't believe how well this works for its price. And it works better than similar products I've used from salon brands, and they cost 2 to 4 times as much. This defys the humidity, works on wet or dry hair, doesn't build up or get oily and leaves my very long, very fine, curly hair shiny and perfectly conditioned. I think it helps my curls form better too and I don't need as much styling product now. I only use about a pea sized drop and will have this one bottle for months. Cool tip- take a small amount and put it in a microwaveable bowl/cup, heat for about 10 seconds on 50% power and apply to dry hair before you wash it. This has eliminated all my splt ends!! Highly recommend this product!!

This stuff is absolutely incredible. I didn't have the highest hopes for it only because it is a drugstore product that claims to contain the same ingredients as products that are quadruple the cost. But this stuff works significantly better than my Chi Silk Infusion which was my previous go to product to try and tame my coarse, unruly hair. And it's less than a quarter of the price. Though this is an oil, it's a very thin and watery oil that quickly is absorbed into the hair without leaving it looking even the slightest bit oily. Within seconds of working it into my hair, my hair felt SO much thinner, smoother, and healthier. I can't even express how much I love this product and I have nothing negative to say about it. So impressed. Well done, Garnier.

Smells awesome. I was looking to replace Biosilk because it's gotten outrageous expensive. IMHO this does as well for 1/4 of the price. Soft, silky, manageable hair.

I joined up especially because I wanted to review Moroccan Sleek. I love it when I find just what I wanted at a good price.
I've heard of argan oil, it's in so many T.V. ads now, but I never really thought much about it. I've used mineral oil on my hair for years (yeah, it's that frizzy) and it works pretty well, plus it's cheap. I started using it because anti-frizz serums tend to be costly and don't work very well on my big black mane. But mineral oil is a pain. You have to put your hair in a bun to soak in after you apply it, you can't apply too much or your hair will be greasy, and it doesn't work very well in humidity.
I saw this on a shelf in Wal-Mart and the price was right so I decided to give it a shot. So much better than mineral oil or any anti-frizz serum I've tried. (I admit I've never tried anything very expensive.)
Here's what makes it great:
1. It works. I first bought a bottle in August, the most humid San Diego August in recent memory, and it still worked. Not only that, but because my hair is so long, I have a split end issue. It reduced the appearance and smoothed the texture of my my split ends, to the point where you really can't even tell it's been years since my last trim.
2. It only takes a little bit. My hair is very long and maybe a quarter-sized dab does every strand. If I want to just do the ends, a few drops is plenty. One bottle should last you a long time.
3. Costs less than $5.
4. Mild, pleasant scent. Kind of vanilla, kind of nutty.
5. Leaves you hands feeling moisturized.
6. Works immediately. You don't have to wait for it to soak in, it does the job right away. If you need more, just add a little more until your hair is the texture you want.
7. Non-greasy. It spreads out and soaks in. You really don't have to worry about over-applying, I think you'd have to use half a bottle to make your hair greasy.
8. It lasts all day. If you don't wash your hair every day (I don't, it's too frizzy), it won't make your hair all built-up and dirty, but it will keep your hair pretty sleek. (I do have to reapply a little to the ends daily if I don't wash.)
Bottom line: It's easy to use, it's cheap, and it works.

I LOVE THIS!!!! I got mine for like $3. I color my hair ALOT. This helps so much. The smell is AMAZING! I put some in my hair when I get out of the shower and then after I flat iron it in the morning. Also if my hair is really dry I mix some with my conditioner in the shower and leave it in while i shave my legs. There seems to always be a coupon for this too :)
