I bought this mascara because I read somewhere that Kim Kardashian uses it (lol) and at first it had clumps which was annoying but you could get them out by just pulling them out a but with your finger, it wasn't that bad. Once I started using it more, like after a week or so, there were no more clumps and it just applied so clean and nicely and since I bought it, it applied nicely and easily, it is the perfect texture and creaminess, it's great! Once I use it up though I'm gonna try Loreal Extra Volume Colagen and if I don't like it I'm definately going back to this one!

Having seen many beauty gurus use this mascara and recommend it highly, I decided to try it out. However, I was extremely disappointed. It was exceedingly clumpy, wet, and thick, and the brush applied way to much product on my lashes. As I don't currently have anymore mascara, I've been using this one with a brush from an old mascara, and it works alright. I have thin, average length blonde lashes, and I don't know if this product just doesn't work for me, or if it's just bad, but I would not recommend this product, and I'm definitely not repurchasing.

The Good: Easy to hold, product doesnt stink. Great TV adds which is what prompted me to RUN out and buy it. I was very excited to try this because surly it would deliver what it promised. No clumps because it doesnt do anything.

The Not so good: It does not give you lashes like the add claim. My own lashes are better without this product. I apply and re-apply and RE-APPLY and frankly my tube must empty.
Please be aware I would say my bare lashes are average..

Other reviews are stellar with over the moon results. Wish I would have bought the same product that they did..oh that's right, I did.

Sorry I really had high hopes for Voluminous Million Lashes..it did not deliver.

This product made me look like I had naturally long, thick, curled eye lashes (mine are longish but straight and need mascara to pop). It won't give you that thick, rich borderline fake lash look. Good everyday/daytime mascara and would buy again. But not a miracle worker.

UPDATE: took one lippie off. After using for a few weeks getting worse not better. Barely makes my lashes pop. Going back to my beloved double extend.

Love this item. It is a bit pricey around a tenner but it lasts forever!! I have been asked before if I had false eyelashes on while only wearing this....even my boyfriend thought I had falsies on! It doesnt run and it never goes clumpy as it has a built in clump remover. all round a good mascara and tend to stick to this for day and night.

This mascara really delivers for both volume and length. My lashes even seem more curled when I don't have time to use a lash curler. I could live with this mascara alone. I like it better than the original Voluminous. I don't know if the formula is different or if the brush is the difference, but it is awesome. I don't think I will need to buy a department store mascara again.

I've tried numerous CoverGirl brand mascaras before I decided to branch out and try this one with its claim that it doesn't clump. I love this mascara and have purchased the same one since it came out a few years ago. It lasts all day and doesn't flake and clump. It's really easy to build up if need be and doesn't look too heavy. The waterproof version works really well too. This mascara also lasts a long time and can easily be prolonged with a few drops of contact solution. Highly recommend!

Voluminous has been my staple for yrs so decided to check this one out. It is the same formula as the original but with a separating brush and a thicker gold packaging. This product would be great for those who felt the original was too clumpy. And the tube does a great job at removing excess mascara from the wand. I personally don't need length, just volume and like to have my lashes as thick as possible so I prefer the original. Price is a little higher (around $3-4) than the original.

This is my favorite mascara.

I have thin, somewhat sparse lashes. Even so, I find that when I use "volumizing" and "thickening" mascaras, I get tons of clumpies and it generally looks terrible. I often wear mascara without an eyeliner for a no-makeup, natural look.

This mascara is different. One coat is all I need to have longer, beautiful lashes. This doesn't add a lot of volume, but I prefer it that way. I apply a little brown eyeliner in my lashline to give the appearance of fuller lashes, so a thick formula is not necessary.

This mascara does not flake for me, as others have mentioned. It stays put all day and looks great after hours of wear. It rarely clumps, and if it does, it's due to sloppy application on my part.

The silicone brush is really lovely, too and applies the mascara evenly with just one coat. The short bristles ensure that the right amount of mascara is applied, and not too much.

I really like this mascara, and it was a holy grail product when I found it. I will definitely purchase again and recommend it for those who want defined lashes without a ton of volume.

This is a good mascara. It does the job but the only complaint I would have is it did take a longer time to dry after applying. I also found it didn't really volumize as much as it should have - it kind of just darkened and lengthened a bit. It is not the worst I've tried but I am still going to keep searching for something better than this.

When I heard the name of this mascara, I was excited, WOW million lash! But it did not live up to its name. This mascara is so so. First of all it gave no volume to my lashes whatsoever, and just a little length, even after my third coat! I thought this was a mediocre mascara. and it crumbles. i would not buy this again.

I really like this mascara. I personally love big mascara brushes and I like how this one is a sort of hybrid big brush combined with a spiky gel brush. I have short, unimpressive lashes, so I look for a mascara that builds volume, lengthens, separates, and curls. This mascara is great on the first three counts. It does less on the last, but I should stop being so lazy and learn to use an eyelash curler. I also adore the gold tube.

I have four mascaras in rotation right now; this is the one I reach for the most and the only one I would repurchase.

If you want this product to give you dense-looking lashes, then you will most likely be disappointed. What I have found, is that this product, separates and lengthens on a lash-by-lash basis, giving you a very lush, long look, but not quite dense.
My only problem with this product is that I can never seem to apply this without getting any on my eyelid, but I din't thinks that's a very big deal. When I layer 3 coats on, I achieve the perfect long lash look that gives the effect of a fiber extension without the flaking.
All-in-all, as a mascara optimist, I would say that this is a very good store brand, well worth the $8 I paid for it.

Age: 44-55   Skin: Sensitive, Fair, Warm   Hair: Brown, Wavy, Medium   Eyes: Hazel

This is a great all around mascara that does not iritate my eyes. It separates and lengthens. The wand is designed to keep only a certain amount of mascara on each bristle making the application process perfect. The color I chose was black. I will buy this again. A great basic mascara that works for me.

Pros
Smudge proof
Clump proof
Ophthalmologist and allergy tested.
Suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. (love this)
Cleans up easily ( no redness on eyes from rubbing )

Cons
After two weeks it started to dry out and flake a bit (time for a replacement I guess)

EDIT 2: okay it gets flakey if its too old or when its new and you aren't wiping off excess of a tissue. So it's still the best. I like how it lasts until I wash my face and is easy to get off. EDIT: I don't know if they changed the formula, but this seems much more FLAKEY. I'm so sad. I have to find a new mascara. I've been using this product for about two years now. This is my all time favorite mascara. I don't understand why you would ever spend more than this 7 dollar mascara that does exactly what a 20 dollar mascara does. My sister and I both swear by this stuff. I've tried so many different brands but you can't go wrong with l'oreal mascaras.

My favorite drugstore mascara is the L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara. It's in a gold tube with black font. It really makes my lashes look full, volumized, lengthened, and separated. And theirs hardly ever any clumps on the brush! It costs around $7 at most drugstores, but I believe it's worth the price. I would definitely give it a try! :)

I had been using voluminous in carbon black. This was on sale, and I like how it has the little thing so it doesn't come out of the tube with too much mascara. Works very well, no globs of mascara at the end of the wand. It gives very defined lashes, never clumpy (at least on me) and I usually put 2 coats. No problems with flaking or smudging. Great mascara! For me it works even better than voluminous.
