First off, I was given this foundation from my sister because she tried it a couple of times and she has extremely oily skin and this just wasn't working for her! While, I, on the other hand, have dry, sensitive skin, which tends to get a tad oily in my t zone in the summer months. I tried this stuff and at first, I wasn't impressed. I felt that it didn't have much coverage, & at that time my face was a little broken out, a few breakouts here & there, & this didn't offer enough coverage. But recently I started applying this with a foundation brush, (Eco Tools Foundation Brush) & it looks so much better! The coverage is buildable which I love!! I also love that this is hydrating but not too much, I still have to apply moisturizer before I apply this because I don't want to accentuate dry patches on my face. Although I love this stuff.. I wouldn't rate it as GREAT.. only good because it does wear throughout the day & you have to touch up every couple of hours which I don't mind doing. But it is a great product! I bought it for $9.99 at Walgreens but I know that you can get it on sale for even less for people who are on a budget & don't want to spend a ton of money on foundation. Right now though, this is my daily foundation, I have been using it for a few months now & I honestly haven't found anything better.

I took a chance with this one and purchased it for 12.95 which is half of it's retail price here in Australia. Overall, I am a little disappointed with this foundation. It applies like a dream and is very easy to blend, but unfortunately the wearing factor ruins this product for me. Even when setting it with a translucent finisher, I noticed that it does not last as long as what a liquid would on my skin. It seems to bunch up in certain areas of my skin and only looks fresh for around 3 hours. After that, I can see it bunching up in dry areas. It also creases very easily under my eyes (and I have hardly any lines!) so go fish? I do believe that this is due to the cream consistency. The packaging is a down fall on this one. It is bulky, and you would expect a mirror to be in the sponge compartment (which is incredibly bulky for a sponge compartment). The sponge compartment is 3 times the size of the actual foundation itself. I am not a fan of the screw top off to open it method. I would say that the coverage of this foundation is medium. Overall, not a terrible product for a cheapie, but if I had paid full price I would have been very disappoined. 2 lippies for this one, beautyqueens!

i love the texture, the coverage is pretty good, the only problem is the packaging and the shade selection. i have very, very fair skin and the lightest shade made me look like i had slapped mud on my face. and the packaging is huge and bulky, with a very small amount of product actually in the container. i was not really impressed overall, but maybe i'm just bitter about the color selection.

This cream was ok, although it didn't totally cover up. It made my face look a little pasty too, especially once used with the powder. I like that it comes with its own spongy and the cream is really creamy and soft too. It just didn't work great on covering up. The packaging is ok but it looks a little cheap, if you were to drop it on something it looks like it could break easily. I would give this product a 3.5

I was really shocked with this product. I wasn't expecting it to be that great considering that it's so cheap and it isn't targeted for oily skin and my skin gets reaaaally oily. This stuff is great! I like to put this on with some kind of flat top brush, I use either my flat top multipurpose brush from sonia kashuk or my elf studio powder brush. This blends in so perfectly and makes skin look flawless. It doesn't accentuate my dry skin patches that I get from acne medication either. This would be perfect if I could find one that matched my skin color, they don't seem to make one light enough for me, and I don't think of myself as super pale. So the one I use is a tad too dark and yellow but it's ok, I make it work. And the wear on this is not amazing and I have to blot a couple times a day to be shine free but I haven't found a foundation that I haven't had to blot with. But I really recommend this stuff!

LOVE LOVE LOVE
I've only had this product 3 days, hence the 4 out of 5 stars. So far I am very impressed. I'm coming off of Revlon COlorstay, and Loreal True Match. The RCS is heavy heavy heavy and is fine if you're looking for thick long lasting coverage. For the summer I enjoy wearing a lighter foundation, and I've found it in the DSM. I apply it with a stipple brush in a circluar motion. I love how much easier it is to use a compact makeup rather than one in a bottle. Wayy less mess, and so much easier. When you apply this makeup there is a fantastic coolness that hits your face the minute your brush does. I've never had anything like this with any other foundation. It was kind of a nice surprize :-)
The foundation looks flawless! Even on my 52 year old skin. It's pretty buildable as well. I have a sun spot on one of my cheeks and although it doesnt cover it completely, it covers pretty well. This is not a full coverage makeup, however, as I mentioned, it is buildable. So far I am thrilled with this product. I have combo skin, and I have to say, finishing it off with powder, and maybe one quick powder touch up late in the day does the trick. Bravo, Mabelline! Bravo! ...now if you guys could just get rid of your stupid "whisper" commercials, life would be perfect!

I am an nw20 and The shade I got was too dark so I won't even mention it.I bought this around the winter while looking for a foundation that would be good for my super dry skin. This is NOT it. It is not at all hydrating like it states it is on the packaging, in fact its very mattifying. Coverage is medium, I wouldn't build it up I think it would be look cakey if you did because its so drying. For people with normal/oily skin this would be great but for my super dry skin its a no no. It emphasizes my dry skin more than most foundations do even when I've exfoliated and there aren't any dry patches. Packaging is ok. I just don't like the applicator it comes with its useless for this type of foundation. This foundation is meh. Bad for me but I think it'd be great for others as I mentioned before. In the end I gave it to my sister who has darker skin than me and it matched well.

I just purchased this on a whim two weeks ago. And I have to say, so far, I'm in LOVE with this foundation. I've never tried creme foundations before, but this one is great. I've gotten compliments on my skin whenever I've had this on - it looks and feels so natural and lightweight.

I have slightly dry, light-medium skin with yellow undertones and I purchased this in 240 Natural Beige. It is ever so slightly darker but the next lightest shade would be far too light. It's perfect for summer. I really can't say enough good things about this so far.

The colour matches pretty well (even though shade selection is limited), the coverage is light-to-medium and definitely buildable. It is very affordable, and available everywhere. The finish is PERFECT - it's smooth, slightly dewy, and definitely not matte. This is also very forgiving if I forget to moisturize and doesn't emphasize dry patches or flakes. It just feels so great on my skin, and it honestly doesn't even look like I'm wearing any foundation. This foundation also seems to have a "blurring" effect; so even if the coverage isn't that heavy, it almost seems to blur away any imperfections.

I originally applied this with a kabuki brush and I liked the application. However, it wasn't until I tried application with a wet sponge (not the one that comes in the package - that's a joke) that I fell in love. It looks flawless with sponge application and goes on perfectly! The lasting power could be better, but it seems to hold up okay even in hot/humid weather, particularly when set with a powder.

Overall:

PROS:
-Good coverage
-Dewy, flawless finish
-Easy to apply
-Natural looking and feels lightweight
-Matches my skin well and doesn't oxidize
-Inexpensive
-Doesn't emphasize dryness or cause dryness

CONS;
-Limited shade selection
-Not a huge fan of the packaging
-Low staying power

I definitely recommend this, especially if you have dry skin. This is currently my everyday foundation, and I love it!

Love the way this looks and feels on my skin. If you want a med coverage yet light foundation check this one out. What I don't like about this foundation is the color range, its horrible. They don't have enough colors for med tan skin, I use beige but its a little to light for me, I get pretty tan in the summer, so I wont be able to use this foundation, I also hate how they all seem to have pink undertones. I think if you are lighter skinned you will have better luck finding the perfect shade.

I am not to crazy about this product. It seems to cake and well I just have foundtions that cover better than this.nk the packaging is well, just stupid, you dont get mush product whatsoever. And online it said this was supposed to be moisterizing and I just don't feel it, I dont really like the finish either. It is natural-matte- dewy confusing and hard to describe.Spend your money and time elsewhere

I keep this in my bag for days when I don't have time to put on a full face of makeup. I find that if I use the sponge it can get cakey, and the colour isn't perfect for me. This isn't a problem when I just smooth it on with my fingers. I love the finish, it's very natural looking- not matte or dewy. I wish I could find other foundations with a similar finish. It's not a perfect foundation but it's the one I'll keep one in my bag at all times.

Ok. I think i've found love. So i bought this for the upcoming past winter because i was in need of a lighter foundation. Instead of going with my normal cream foundation (l'oreal true match... the one with the roller) i ended up getting this one. Might i first say this one is like 10X better. So glad i switched. First things first: matches my light skin tone much more flawlessly and better buildable coverage without looking totally fake. i don't use the sponge though... i use a brush. it has this rlly cool hydrating feel when i put it on and i don't even need to set it with a powder!!! my skin feels softer and looks COMPLETELY flawless. I've actually started using this as a concealer base too because it's so amazing. <3

This is a great foundation! I use this on nights that I want my skin to look extra-perfect. I apply this and then the dream matte powder on top and my skin looks flawless. I have oily skin but it does not exacerbate the oiliness as long as I use a powder. I have already repurchased this 2 times. It is cheap and goes on smoothly and feels lovely.

It's okay, The sponge is a waste of space. How sanitary is that, to use the sponge over and over? Coverage is pretty light--what you get when you first put in on is it; it doesn't seem to layer. It does come off if I wipe my face during the day.
It's not bad, but I won't be repurchasing

This is one of my HG foundations. I love everything about it. The consistency is just perfect. The color that I got ( 21 Nude ) matches me pretty well and I'm NC20 in MAC. I love the coverage of this. It's not full yet it's not sheer. The coverage I would say is medium to full. I have combination/oily skin but I still love this foundation. haha. Whenever I use this foundation I just need to blot and retouch 2-3 times a day which is okay considering the fact that this is formulated for people who have dry skin. A couple retouches a day won't kill me. I love this for everyday-use. I don't use this when I'm going to travel because I do not like to retouch when I'm travelling.

I returned this after not even applying it all over my face once. I got the lightest color possible and it was like putting light orange paste on my face. The color was terrible. The texture was pretty cool though. Not too sure if it helps oily skin or breaks out as I couldn't even try it. Not much in a small jar either.

Its OKAY. Not the best but not the worst. mmmmm worth giving a try,..but then thats about it. It might be a little bit too orange?
The texture is actually pretty smooth and it feels nice when you apply to the skin.
Doesn't have the greatest lasting power though and the coverage is...about medium I would say?
The packaging is pretty decent. Maybe a bit bulky at the top. But other than that its okay.

I find dream smooth mousse is ok...it dosnt break me out ( i have acne prone skin) but it feels abit cakey and looks orangey on me.... my skin is super oily and in about 4 hours its shifted around my face...so far i havnt really found anything for my very oily skin... but this is an ok foundation..i usually put my shisheido powdery foundation ontop to give a more matte finish.. more suitable for dry or normal skin i would say...the packaging is good....the price is alright... i think around $24-27.... (maybelline and other makeup is more expensive here compared to the u.s) i would purchase it agaiin, but its not one of my tip foundations... but i reckon give it a go and see if its right for you..... just wasn't great for me. thanks :)

Hello MUA reviewers!!
I have VERY dry skin. For several years I used Bare Minerals b/c it was more natural and I thought I liked it plus I thought it was better for my skin. As time went on and I did more research on products and learned more about what I wanted from a makeup, I learned that liquids/creams would be a better fit for me. The liquids conceal my dry skin better and help with my overall complexion over time.

This product is very mositurizing and for me lasts almost all day. I also think if you apply it in thin layers, it can be very buildable and give you good coverage. I wish they gave you more product but that wont stop me from buying it again. I really think this is my HG foundation. If you have dry skin i would highly recommend giving it a try. If you buy it a Walmart or someplace similar you can always return it with a receipt. Good Luck!!
