This is a gorgeous sheer light peach with golden sparkles. When on it is subtle, but sexy subtle. It brings out my blue eyes, & I've received many compliments on it.

In the pan this has tons of little sparkles & it looks so pretty. The minute I put it on me eyelid I saw NOTHING. It has a nice texture but no pigment. Would not buy again.

One of the worst Nars e/s I've tried so far.
I'm a devoted Nars fan and this is a hands-down shadow. The color looks so beautiful in the pan, a soft vainilla with lots of sparkles, which is all I get when I apply it. Nothing more! The color just doesn't show up at all and after a while all the micro glitters is in your cheeks instead of where they should be. Definetly no repurchase

I personally love this shadow. In the pan it is stunning. A bewitching peach with loads of sparkles. On the eye it is subtle and only gives a hint of shimmer. I see why so many previous reviewers would be disappointed in this product. On the back of the hand the color is just amazing and beautiful. On the eye it loses that oomph! However it is such a pretty peach color that works well as a highlighter or as a wash over the eye. This is the first Nars shadow that I will use up. I highly recommend trying this on the eye than testing on the hand. Trust these reviews. Do not purchase based on the back of the hand test. You will be disappointed.

A shimmery gold with peach undertones + huge amounts of gold glitter in it. A very pretty colour that somehow doesnt really register on my eyes. All i see in my eye area where i placed the colour has brighten and noticeable gold sparkles. Perhaps best saved for giving extra oompf to a boring es or lightening a dark es...wont repurchse simply cos i dont see myself reaching for this that often...a pity cos it really is gorgeous!

A pretty peachy color with silver shimmer.
This looks AWESOME on your finger or hand... but on the eyes... it's almost non existant! Not cool.
THe texture is nice, what is there stays put (i love the formula of NARS e/s) and Im sure this color would be great with a black e/l and red l/s. But regardless, I was looking for more color out of this guy.
I wouldn't buy this again

I fall into the same camp with most of the other reviewers. I fell in love with this shade on my finger and hand, but it merely looked a little shimmery when I put it on my eyelids. GREAT nude color, but I don't wear eyeshadow so my eyelids look slightly more nude colored than they look naked--I wanted some seriously beautiful sparkly neutral OOMPH, and this left me dissapointed and out $20! There are a million and one better options out there. I am taking it back today, and will hesitate to stray from my beloved Urban Decay again. Damn, and I usually love NARS.

I just wasn't "wowed" by this eyeshadow. It looked so pretty in the pan and on my hand but hardly anything showed up on my lids. The gold glitter is so pretty but it falls all over my face. I'm a PPP and it really does nothing for me. Kinda disapointed, oh well.

I totally agree with MsiLLneSs' post. I reeeeeally wanted to love this shadow because it has such pretty gold glitter in it. However, as much as I could see it on my hand, on my eyes I saw nothing...nothing. What's even more annoying is that the glitter gets in your eyes so it shines in the light. Too bad.

very pretty colour, but the gold glitter was quite obvious. neutral/warm colour. i'm a cool ppp, but it looked fine on me. a good base for brown eye looks

This is the prettiest golden color with a hint of sparkle, that really makes my blue eyes POP! It's subtle enough for day, so I can wear this to school (I'm a HS senior). I pair this with LORAC eyeshadow/liner pencil in midnight sparkle, and NARS l/g in Turkish delight. Love this shadow!! Next I want to buy Night Breed or Night Flight!!

This and Laura Mercier's Twinkle are my two workhorse brow highlighting shades. They're nude with a bit of sparkle. I didn't buy this expecting a lot of pigment, and that's good, because it's virtually nonexistent. Really gives my eyes a finished, polished look, though.

A lot of the complaints on the pigmentation are justified but:
If you use your finger to apply this, it is much more opaque and very pretty. It makes my grey/green eyes pop. I usually use a brush or an eyeshadow sponge, and they don't work with this shadow at all. I rarely advocate finger use for e/s, but with this one it makes a world of difference. I wouldn't buy this without a gift certificate though - $18 could be put to a lot better use! However, it does not crease, is very silky and wears all day.

I love this eyeshadow, it was the first NARS shadow I ever bought and it will definitely not be the last! The color is great for any skin tone, and the shimmer in it is just perfect, not too much or too little.

This shade, made famous by Sex and the City, is a beautiful golden peach that's perfect for day or night. The shimmer is subtle, but enough to really makes eyes "pop." This has become a definite staple for me.

This sparkly eyeshadow is perfect for turning daytime makeup into nighttime makeup. The sparkle adds the necessary amount of glitz when you only have a few moments to touch up. I like to use it for layering over boring brown drugstore eyeshadow. For extra pizazz I apply it over the NARS glitter pencil in Danceteria.

Gorgeous in the pan -- and that's about it. It's a beautiful beigey peach with gold shimmer -- but it has below average pigmentation and doesn't stay put. Usually that's a 2 lippie rating, but given it's NARS and pricey, that makes it 1 for me. It isn't even versatile as a sheer wash, b/c usually I want my wash to be "truly" basic and not have sparkles. Plus it crumbles easily (parts of it are shattered even though I didn't drop it). No repurchase.

the color is amazing.. i love using pale/peaches/nudes/pinks on my eye lids cuz i use alot of black eye liner and im a ppp.. this is a beautiful nudish peach with lots of micro goldish silver glitter in it.. the only thing is.. once u apply all the glitter flies all over the place.. but overall its a good product but then again nars is a very good makeup brand i love all their products

Nightstar is a beautiful pale peach with lots of tiny sparkles. When the light hits it, the sparkles reflect a rainbow of different colors. The only problem is that once you apply it, the sparkles all but disappear. I did however get great results when I applied it wet. I'm PPP and this looks really nice against my pale skin so I would recommend it as long as you apply it wet.
