This is the first cream eyeliner i've ever used, but it's the best overall liner i've ever used. it's super easy to apply, dirt cheap and looks like i worked really hard on my eyeliner. what's not to love?

This was my first time using this type of eyeliner, and brand. I was hesitant, but I got it in eggplant (accidentally xD). The packaging was user friendly, easy to open and recyclable. This product is now a great contribution to my collection of make-up and sits in my make-up hall of fame. I thought that it was going to come out extremely dark, and not look like a purple color on my lash line, but as it turned out when it was very purple and beautiful. It was easy to apply. It doesn't smudge. As a first applicant of this type of eyeliner, the brush it came with was okay although I have my own eyeliner brushes. If you have your own brush I recommend you use it, but if not the brush it comes with is completely fine. Next time I'll remember to look at it and buy it in black! xD

i have read rave reviews about WnW liners lately and have not used the brand since i was in high school (10 plus years ago) and was grocery shopping the other day and saw this and decided to give it a try.

i think this falls into the category "you get what you pay for" .

yes it is inexpensive .
the package is crap and every time (only three times!) i unscrew the cap the plastic flakes off into the pot. lame.
as for performance - meh. the color is a beautiful deep purple in the pot - but has to be gone over 3 or 4 times to get the line to look that color on my lids. i did not find this long lasting, even over UDPP. it was all smeared into the corner of my eyes and underneath in less than an hour.

may use at some point as a base for purples.....but doubtful. would not repurchase.

So i bought this last week with much apprehension because Im not usually one to gravitate towards wet and wild products but I needed a new gel liner- past experience was with MUFE gel liners and i found it dried too quickly and learned never to purchase such expensive liners if that's all that it will amount too and it didn't even stay on - for me anyways.
But with this wet and wild gel liner it stayed on to the point where I was furiously rubbing it off the back of my hand with olive oil lotion, spectro jel soap free cleanser and good old soap and it still stayed on so definitely a 5 for staying power.

Its dirt cheap, stays on for a very long time and if it dries up so what? Its only $3.00 cnd.

I love this color. It's the perfect dark purple. Texture is a little creamier than I'm used to but it's easy to blend and stays on well. Can't believe how good it is for such a cheap product!

I really like the color of this eyeliner. It is a dark purple with slight shimmer. It is a very creamy texture. A little too creamy for my liking, not gel like enough. It is not pigmented enough and I dont really like having to go over it again and again to make it darker. It not bad for the price but I wouldnt repurchase. If youre looking for a dark purple, you dont have to go over more than once try urban decays creme liner.

This is a pretty dark purple gel liner that lasts through the day without smearing. Application was awful with the included brush, but much better with a less dense eyeliner brush. I find the screw top lid awkward to open and close, but for the price I guess I can't complain too much.

This product has amazing color. Not only was it cheap 4.99, I got 40% off that price at Rite Aid. It says on all day and is very creamy. Love it

I stated that I would buy this product again...while the product itself is great (excellent consistency; awesome price; ease of use; doesn't run or smudge, yet comes off easily with eye make up remover when I want to take it off), I'm not sure I would buy this particular color again, as it wasn't exactly what I was looking for.

I recently found the L'Oreal HiP liner in Eggplant, and although that one is more expensive than this one, I much prefer it...mostly for the color. The HiP liner pulls more of a red purple/plum/eggplant color on me, whereas this Wet & Wild liner pulls more of a violet/blue purple...and my green eyes definitely look better with the former. I'd imagine if your eyes are cooler toned, and more of a green-blue color, this eyeliner would look amazing! Mine tend to be more to the warm green end of the spectrum, though.

I swatched both colors right next to each other, and the difference in color was pretty crazy, since they both look 'eggplant' in the container...see the 2 swatch pictures above (not sure if you can see the labels, but in each of the 2 pictures, the L'Oreal HiP liner is on the left; and the Wet & Wild liner is on the right).

I gave this product a good rating, because the product itself is great, and it's a steal for the price. However, just be advised if you're looking for a warmer purple color, you may not achieve it with this product.

Great value for the money. It applies smoothly withoug pulling or tugging and lasts all day. It's not as pigmented as the black one, but if you layer it on a couple times you get a very bold purple eyeliner. I think the key with Wet 'n' Wild creme eyeliners is to use a good brush. The one it comes with sucks so I recommend buying your own. I'm a fan of creme eyeliners now as they look smoother then pencil and these ones last all day. Will repurchase again and again, just wish they made more colors.

For the money, this eyeliner can't be beat. It is very pigmented and goes on smooth and definitely lasts. My biggest gripe is the packaging. It is like a half-ball with a teeny lid...pretty difficult to handle.

UPDATE: Changing this 2 lippies since it dried up completely in a few months. Also, E.L.F. cream liner in aubergine is way better.

This is really really good for how cheap it is. It was really easy to apply with my mac eyeliner brush, not the angled but the one that is think comes to a point. However, it does take two coats to get the maximum color coverage. For me, this liner is not uber pigmented and the color comes on kind of thin. It is definitely not as intensely pigmented as mac fluidline so in that way I think mac is better but price-wise this is better. This stuff is more flexible b/c I think it dries slower than my fluidline so can smudge it a little if I want to whereas with the fluidline, its kind of hard to do that. The color itself is pretty its a black based purple when I do two coats for the line and its less intense than black and very pretty.

I got this instead of the black one, just because I have enough black eyeliner as it is, and thought this would be nice, but the color isn't as bold as I like it, I keep having to go over the line just to build up the color, because if I didn't it would look kind of streaking, and when I first got it, it applied smoothly, but when I kept using it, it wasn't smooth and looked cakey because I have to keep layering over it to build the intensity, if I didn't you could see my skin underneath the liner. I really don't like the packaging either, the lid is not very secured, and the liner dried up a little. Its okay, but I'll probably just use this as a base.

i think that this as a liner is horrible -- but this as an eyeshadow base is fantastic! when you apply it to the lid it doesn't dry very quickly so you still have time to pay eyeshadow over the top of it, it makes the shadow vibrant, last all day, and importantly does not crease at all.

I can't believe the quality of this "cheap" eyeliner! The color is a deep saturated plum color and it lasts all day. It goes on very smooth and creamy and dries fairly quickly. I've used gel liners from Bobbi Brown, Clinique, MAC, Stila and Jane and this is right at the top of my list. MAC is my second favorite and Bobbi Brown comes in third. Like other reviewers I wish there were more colors to choose from but you can't beat this for the price.

This eyeliner really knocked my socks off. I've used gel and cream eyeliners from L'Oreal HIP to Bobbi Brown to MAC to Smashbox. I've tried them all. Never would I have imagined that Wet 'n' Wild, the makeup brand of my schoolgirl days, would have the best eyeliner ever.

As others have mentioned, Eggplant is a deep plum color. I also found that I needed a couple of coats to get the color to show up, but this doesn't bother me because this eyeliner is easy to work with. The cream doesn't dry right away yet doesn't take forever to dry so I can apply a second coat just as smoothly without any flaking. The color is a gorgeous deep plum that doesn't budge when set. Eggplant has the tiniest bit of shimmer, which is not at all noticeable once dried but is also enough to keep the color from looking flat and matte. MAC Fluidline and Smashbox Jet Set liners both smudge on me by lunchtime. Bobbi Brown Longwear Gel Eyeliner lasts a little longer but Wet 'n' Wild does not smudge at all. This is nothing short of a miracle for me.

My only complaints are the horrible packaging and the lack of color choices. The lid is fussy and hard to screw back on tightly, plus the plastic pot packaging makes the product dry out faster. I transferred my eyeliner to an empty and clean MAC Fluidline jar. I would like more color choices because this liner is simply amazing...and so cheap! I noticed that Eggplant has quite a strong perfumey fragrance. It is not unpleasant and it doesn't bother me but I don't see the point in adding fragrance to eye makeup.

I will definitely repurchase and recommend to all my beauty junkie friends. By the way, the brush that is included with the liner is not a very good brush. It is too thick and stiff to be of any use for lining the eyes but it's a good brush for filling in the brows so I tossed it in my travel makeup bag.

The cream eyeliner comes with a little tiny brush. I think the brush is OK, but you should get another softer and longer handle to use. The color is not highly pigmented like HIP Truth Color Cream Eyeliner. However, you can see that it is dark eggplant color, not as dark as HIP (almost black) and last the whole day which is pretty good for something this cheap. I wouldn't buy it again because I think you will need to apply and layers several time to get the whole line fill in because lack of pigmentation. It would be a nice try if you are not sure you want to spend more money for cream eyeliner. I only see this in eggplant and black at the store, so choices in colors are very limited.

This is an amazing cream eyeliner. I found it lasts all day. I really like the packaging, it reminds me of a UFO. I found the brush it came with, irritated my eye and was to thick for a nice thin line I like. I would defiantly encourage everyone to try this product. It's inexpensive, and high quality.

DEC UPDATE: Changed my review from three to five lippies. I am loving this product and I just bought the black. It's a great value and the now love the color. I only use cream eyeliners to tight line my top lids and this product works GREAT! I will buy this product again...

Eggplant is very close to black which accounts for the three lippies. I wanted purple to tight line and make my brown eyes pop. The container is small, the brush that comes with the product is too thick and the cap does not stay on tight. The product will probably dry out before I am finished using the product. I am not impressed and I doubt I will buy this product again...
