LOVE this stuff. This is the only mineral foundation I have ever used that actually builds to full coverage. There is no glitter or shine to this, unlike BE which made me all sparkly. It actually cancels out the redness in my skin, covers dark circles and zits. I had totally given up on mineral foundation after trying so many. But my skin has broken out a lot lately and I knew I had to switch to something more natural. This has no silicones or parabens which is great. I apply with a brush rather than the puff thing they give you. I also love that this is a solid powder, it doesn't fly all over the house when applying. Give this a try, you can always return it. I'm so glad I checked it out.

This is my HG face powder. Best compact ever!!!! I have used BE and EM and way more searching for the best compact. Not only does this not have bad ingredients BUT it has great coverage. It works as good as MAC to me. But without the crappy ingredients MAC has. I really do like the sponge in it too. I use a brush though but the sponge is great for touch ups. I will always be using this product!! I hope they never discontinue this amazing product.

I love this stuff so far. It's very easy to tote around, very convenient. It stays on all day too. I purchased it at Sephora because a girl I work with had recommended it. Sometimes I feel like it makes my T-zone a little shiny (especially my chin), about half way thru my work day. That could also be because I'm resting my chin on my palm, though! But I just use oil blotting pads to help that!!
I switched to this foundation after BE starting making my face break out.. I had never broken out badly before and thought that mineral makeup was supposed to be good for your skin. So I did my research on it and read an article about how some mineral makeups contain an ingredient called bismyth oxycloride (sp?) that can cause acne.. and BE had it. So I bought this mineral powder foundation after seeing that it did not contain this ingredient (and also because I refused to go back to using liquid foundation!).
It's great so far. My skin has gone back to normal. I think after reading other reviews I am going to purchase a kabuki brush to apply it, though. I do like the pad, but feel like overage would be more even with a brush. I only wish that this line of makeup would come with more color options.. I use D25 which is fine now, but in the winter I might need something lighter! The next lightest color that was available was D15, and that would definitely be way to light for my skin even at its palest. I asked one of the girls at Sephora why they had so few, and she explained that it's just because it is a newer product. So, hopefully if they have success with it they will expand the variety colors.
Anyhoo, I would definitely recommend this product. I will continue to purchase it, and will probably get a darker color when I get a little tanner!

I bought this foundation in D30 after I was tired of using BE in medium beige. BE was good for me, however I was looking for something easier to use and cut down my getting ready time. I have been using this foundation for 4 months now, and really like it! I haven't broken out it doesn't dry out my skin and has great coverage. Looks very natural and people are always commenting on how my skin looks gorgeous and flawless. I don't use the sponge that came with it, I use a sephora bronzer brush to apply it. But the sponge is good for touch ups during the day if needed. As for the compact itself, I hate it. My compact lid has broken off the hinge after about 2 months of use, I don't like the mirror being under the powder because it is very inconvenient. I do hope that Sephora will redesign the compact soon, however I will be repurchasing this regardless! Can't beat the price for the quality, no parabens-no talc-no allergens. Love it!

I bought this product mainly because the color seemed nice.I also liked the fact that it was a mineral powder and that the price was so cheap. Thus, I ended up returning it because a)it was making me break out like crazy! b)all of their powders have this grayish looking undertone which is awful. It doesn't matter if it is an R or a D. c)This product is not good for combination or oily skin as it makes your skin look even more shiny especially on the bridge of the nose and forehead area.

I decided to give this a shot since MAC's Studio Fix was making me breakout. I'm a NC35 in the Studio Fix. In the Double Compact I was between a D30 or D35. I opted for the D35 since I thought the D30 was a wee bit chalky looking. I've been using this for about 2 weeks now and have not experienced any breakouts. I don't use the powder puff that comes with the compact except for touch ups. I usually apply this with a big fluffy powder brush and then use my concealer brush to add extra coverage to areas that require more coverage. I do wish they would come out with more colors. The D35 color is not bad, it maybe a tad bit on the darker side but I find if I apply the product with the fluffy powder brush I'm able to blend it more., It will most likely be perfect in the summer when I get darker. Overall, not a bad foundation. I do agree it's a bit on the drying side so just make sure to use a good moisturizer prior to applying it.

I like the coverage of this foundation, the only problem is the color: i have d30 and i think is a bit too dark for me, probably i will buy d25 and mixed them up.

Pretty damn good in my opinion. Good coverage. Good color - I got D25, and it's perfect. Good packaging. A little too matte for me, but I can help that with a few shimmer products. Can't help too shiny as easily, so I like it. Good price. Would repurchase! UPDATE: Ok, I like this much more than I originally thought I did. I'm not much for pressed mineral foundations, and this one requires a little more effort to get the coverage I desire. But comparing this to Pur Minerals, this applies creamier looking, and less chalky. The color I chose is perfect and complements my skin tone. A great, convenient compact.

I hate the packaging but I like the product, it covers well, but i think i have it in the wrong shade d30, i may need to try it in d35. it leaves a whitish cast like other powder foundations which i hate (bare minerals, etc), so i still have to use powder to tone down this cast. Other than that, its a perfect touch up or alternative to liquid foundation.

I've actually only been using this product for about 2 weeks now. My foundation color is R20, and so far, I am somewhat happy with it. But not thrilled bout it though.
Pros: I like the coverage, and I found the perfect color for my skin. My skin looks AMAZING in pictures when I wear the foundation.
Cons: My skin seems to be breaking out due to a bad reaction to the foundation. Also the powder is somewhat visible on my skin if you look up close.
But I am going to give it another week or two to see how it works out for me. Or if I should switch.

Picked this up in Paris and was matched in D40 and loved the texture and coverage but it was very red for my yellow toned east Indian skin. I picked up a D35 and it seems much better but slightly dark. I've ordered a D30 but I have a feeling it will be too light. Does not break me out as Studio fix used to and doesn't turn orange! I also tried everyday minerals and loved the initial coverage but it disappeared over the day. Topped with BE mineral glow or Mac Blot powder it lasts the WHOLE day and looks great on my medium toned east Indian skin that starts off dry and flaky and is oily a couple of hours later. I find using a standard latex sponge gives more coverage for nighttime but the included sponge is good for daytime. Since I couldn't return the D40 I use this as blush :) Packaging is not fancy but is like Studiofix with the double flip compartment. A keeper!

For reference, I wear D30, and I love the covereage from this product. The packaging is so so, it reminds me on the physician formula packaing with the flipping part for the applicator, which i dont use. I like that it has a bit of spf, the color match is great for me and it seems to have a good staying power. The cost if a bit pricey, but I would still buy this again.

I've waited a few weeks to finally give my verdict on this and found myself truly loving this powder! I was loyal to Everyday Minerals before but just found, I don't know, my skin just looked "blah". Anyway, this has now totally replaced my EM. I took 1 lippie off because I would maybe like a little more coverage, but you can layer this on and it still looks really natural. It just kind of melts into your skin. On good skin days I use a kabui brush and the sponge for when I have more to coverup. Plus I love that it's so much easier to tote around then EM and has a separte compartment for the sponge. I will definitely repurchase!

You guys have got to be kidding. This is way too dark for anything light-but-human in the two lightest shades. The lightest shades aren't too yellow, or too white, or too beige--they're both just too darn pink! And, this stuff makes your face hurt.
I had that dreaded, "Oh no. It's another expensive lemming." feeling when the Sephora S.A. tried the lightest colors on me and said, "See how it 'brightens up' your face."....meaning, "Makes you look orange."
I'm considering keeping it as a reminder in my foundation graveyard. "Sephora. Expensive as hell and never anything you can use."

I went into Sephora looking for a compact mineral foundation that I could take with me when I went out riding on a motorcycle. Something easy to deal with and not heavy with an SPF of at least 10 to go over my 30 SPF sunscreen.
I talked to a sales person and we matched my "BE" med. beige to Sephora's R30 and it matched perfectly! I brought it home and didn't try it right away for fear of having an allergic reaction, silly me. I left it sit on my shelf for about a month or so.
I finally used it when I was not having a good day with my "BE". I was happily shocked at how well it covered my "rudolph" nose and black eyes without being punched look, LOL. It made my skin look like I was flawless (wow that takes alot). It did not settle into my fine lines or my heavy duty lines for that matter. It did add a bit too much of a "dewey" look for me, so I used my "BE" mineral veil and it became amazing, for me anyway.
I've never seen my "rudolph" nose dissapear before, but this made it gone, wow. My slightly red cheeks were not red, they looked perfect, and whatever pores I had were non-exsistant after I put this stuff on. Even my husband noticed, something that NEVER happens since he thinks I look good wearing moisturizer (I am a very lucky woman with him).
I can even wear this without using a blush and it looks good, wow, I almost fell over with that alone. I used the pad thingy that comes with it, but I find that my "buki" brush works even better (a gift from my sister). I'll use the pad thingy when I'm riding, if I have to. I've found that I have not had to touch up at all during the day, and I put this on at 6:00 A.M. for work. The only time I need to touch up is when I get home from work and I am going out, that's quite a feat for me.
Any MMU that can last as long as this one does without making me look lined, rudolph red, and puckered is a winner, and for me winners are far and few between!
As long as I do not have any reaction to this I wil continue to use this. As long as it covers my "rudolph" reds I will use this. I really think this works better than "BE" for me now, I don't dry out and get itchy from it, even with the mineral veil over it.
Now if I can only find a foundation for the winter that does this without looking cakey, I will be in my glory! It would be like eating godiva chocolate and strawberry shortcake at the same time, LOL!

I had given up on mmu until I tried this one. It provides the perfect buildable coverage, doesn't settle into my pores and I found the perfect color match with D25. I don't use th sponge that comes with it but rather a kabuki brush for even application. For reference, the mmu I've tried jane iredale, glo minerals, bare escentuals, laura mercier, fyrinnae and everyday minerals. This finely milled compact mmu beats the all imho for coverage that lasts all day without being cakey or shiny. Love it.

Prior to using this, I was using everyday minerals. I love everyday minerals, but it's just so messy. I lose so much product especially if I'm in a hurry, and I'm also unable to bring it with me for touchups. I began searching for a pressed mineral foundation and was really interested in either trying out Jane Iredale's or GloMineral's pressed mineral foundations even though both contain the infamous bismuth oxychloride. I'm glad my friend dragged me to Sephora before my impulsiveness got the better of me. They recommended me this product and I'm so glad they did. It's talc-free, paraben-free, fragrance-free, oil-free, noncomedogenic and contains NO bismuth oxychloride! I initially bought the R30 shade but it was slightly too pink and dark for my light Asian skintone. (I'm a golden light in EDM.) R is for pinker undertones, whereas D is for yellower undertones. I exchanged the R30 for a D25, and it's a perfect match! The coverage is buildable, and I only need to touch-up once or twice throughout the day, which is usually limited to my T-zone. I prefer applying it with the sponge provided rather than with a brush because when I applied it with a brush it went on orange for some reason. Regardless, I love this because it has the benefits of mineral makeup without being so messy or time-consuming.

Just bought this today and I really like it. The coverage is good but I bought the wrong color D30 the color seemed dirty on me and blotchy. I will return it today and try another color. Will update later. UPDATE: I returned the wrong color and replace it with D25 which is the perfect match when I put it on it blended really well and did not even see the powder on my skin just perfect skin this is a great mineral powder foundation great color if you can find the right shade and the wearability is great not to matte or to shiny just great amazing color. I reccommend this very highly.
