There is something so crazy about this scent that I cant describe or comprehend. I smell strawberries, primarily. Maybe it reminds me of a strawberry flavoring syrup, or a strawberry-flavored something or other that happens to be sugar-free. Something is really chemical with that strawberry in here. I can't say it's "me" but I cannot say it'd be bad on the right person. I just wonder who the right person is... I think it's too strange for a young gal. Maybe (Whatever Happened To...) Baby Jane would wear this!

Smells like a mans cologne with strawberries at first then drys to just a mans cologne. Seriously, DH has one that smells just like it. I was really surprised.

I LOVE this bottle, so the packaging vote probably accounts for most of my lippies ! The scent is great for the much younger, maybe under 25 set. For a 35 y.o. me, too sweet and sugary. This is a more complex Pink Sugar.

It is a very nice scent, reminds me of Carolina by Carolina Herrera (which I also have), but even better.
On me it's smells like strawberry, ice cream, wipe cream, wood , yummy caramel and some fruit\berry liquer.
The bottle is lovely too.
I really like it and I got it as a present :-)

Ghastly. If I hadn't seen the bottle, I would have assumed it was Mary Kate and Ashley or some cheap drugstore scent. Sour, harsh, and cloying with a lot of grapefruit. For the preteen set only.

I ADORE this scent! Just purchased it today after trying the magazine samples endless times. I found that the actual fragrance is much better than the samples but I'm sure that is to be expected. I bought the EDP and it's very strong at first but it dries down to a nice, warm scent that I cannot quite put my finger on. It kind of reminds me of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle with something else, just can't pin point it yet. I put it on in the store about 5 hours ago and it's still going strong. I can detect a little patchouli, which I usually detest, but it's not overpowering or giving me a headache (which patchouli usually does to me). I usually prefer sweeter scents like YSL Baby Doll, Escada Island Kiss, Gucci Envy Me, so it's nice to find something completely different that still suits me. I only have one signature winter fragrance, Marc Jacobs, which I thought I liked better than this but this is now my signature scent for fall. I also do not find this to be a "girls" scent, I think anyone, any age can wear it as long as it works for them. I'm 33 going on 25 though! :) Overall it's a very nice fall/winter scent and I like it a lot.
Update: I love this scent even more now than I originally did! I get compliments from men and women whenever I wear it so, apparently, some people like it. This is definitely a keeper!

On me this fragrance smells sweet, warm and sexy... It will be my new fall scent. Love the packaging too!!! It is definitely not a little girl's fragrance.

I absolutley love this perfume. Im a teenager, and I agree that it's young smelling, so that suits me! I love sweet and fruity scents and this is a perfect blend of that. Like a previous reviewer said, its fruity in a non-escada way, as in it doesnt smell offensive or chemically. The bottle is beautiful aswell. My only complaint is the staying power isnt fabulous.

i was hating this perfume when i first smelled it. i waited four days and went back today and gave it another go, i realized i didnt hate it as much as i did before. i sprayed some on me and by the time i got home, i actually started to like it! it IS young smelling but it doesnt really bother me, i think this frangrace is for everyone, as long as the scent mixes with your body chemistry. i have to wait a while before i can buy this, though, since i just bought a 100ml-bottle of Lanvin Eclat d'Arpege and i actually prefer this to Lanvin. damn! :(
oh, as for the lasting power... the EDP lasts really long (four hours minimum, thats how long it lasted before i hit the shower. it was still going strong before shower so my guess is it will last 6-8 hours)! the lasting power is definitely another reason i wanna get this. but contrary to many reviews here, i am not a huge fan of the bottle. it is pretty, but... i mean, whats with that silver bow? it looks hideous! the bottle would look so much classier without that!

This new fragrance has certainly received mixed reviews here. I tried it recently, initially fell in love with it, so I requested a generous sample. I tend to like sweet fragrances, which this is, but it also has an underlying sensual scent. The top notes are green tangerine and strawberry leaves, the heart notes are violette and pink jasmine along with caramelized popcorn and strawberry sorbet. The base notes are fresh patchouli and crystalline musk. As described, the bottle is beautiful, and Riley Keogh is the perfect beautiful model for this fragrance.

I didn't smell this on my skin, so I don't know how this actually smells on me, but on the scent strip I got a delicious warm array of fruity scents, a tad bit of woods thrown in, very very sweet, I'll have to update when I can get a sample or bottle of this....and speaking of the bottle.... it is gorgeous!!! =)
update: smells okay on me, but I don't think I'd reach for this often enough to keep it. actually it didn't work for me at all

Miss Dior Cherie has notes that really got my attention, especially caramelized popcorn, strawberry, and pink jasmine, as those are some of my favorites. This is a very sweet and fruity scent, can't say it's the most original, but it's very wearable and smells very good. It smells like Jelly Belly gourmet jelly beans in Buttered Popcorn mixed with Strawberry Daquiry jelly beans. But then, it morphs and evolves into patchouli sweetness with musk, which deepens and darkens the scent and keeps it from being an Escada fruity seasonal scent. There is a lot of sweetness, but it is tempered by the floral and green notes, adding a fresh dimension and sophistication to this sweet fragrance. I'm not quite sure if I'll buy it at this point, but it may be a future purchase. It doesn't quite wow me enough, but the bottle sure does. So beautiful. Update: After a few months, I have decided that there is something I really don't like about this scent, maybe too much musk mixed with patchouli, and may just have to give up on it I don't get any caramelized popcorn or a delicious kind of strawberry. Something just doesn't work here for me. It has too much of a cologne-like drydown at the end. Not for me.

Miss Dior Cherie is Pink Sugar's slightly more sophisticated cousin and Coco Mademoiselle's vetiver-free sister. Flowerbomb and Prada may be more distant relatives. The bottle is so lovely, feminine and classic that purchasing a decant would be cheating yourself out of half the experience.
Another reviewer mentioned being able to detect Miss Dior Cherie in the morning still going strong from the evening before. This is the only fragrance I've ever worn that I can say that about, so if you're looking for something long- lasting this is it. However, it stays close to you; no Angel-type sillage.
Now, you can't be scared of patchouli if you try this; it is very prominent and won't let any other note get too much attention for too long.
I think the reviews would be higher if this wasn't Dior; I don't think we expect such a "youthful" fragrance from Dior and therefore some some may think it is too trendy. However, I'm taking it for what is it and enjoying it, especially the bottle.

Miss Dior Cherie is wonderful. Exactly what I have been looking for as I move away from super-sweet, foodie fragrances. The best way for me to describe this fragrance is that it is, in my opinion, the perfect balance between HM Butterfly (way too sweet) and Coco Mademoiselle (not sweet enough). It shares similar notes with both of these and I am excited to have found something in between. The drydown is a slightly sweet musky scent. It is pretty, and it is sexy (already received compliments from both women and men on this one). I am wearing this in the dead of Florida summer and it is perfect for day or night. I can also see reaching for this as I return to New York and the weather (eventually) starts to turn cooler. The lasting power is excellent (everything disappears on me) - I can still smell it in the morning when I wake up, which is a good litmus test for me on staying power of fragrances. I wouldn't say it is a masterpiece or particularly original so I didn't give it five lippies, but I still love it. And the bottle? Beautiful. I hope this stays in Dior's permanent fragrance collection. *EDIT* changed to 3 lippies. I'm sort of over it. I still like it - I love the sweet, musky drydown but I tired of it easily. *Edit - back to 4 lippies* boy am I fickle. I love it again. I think the drydown is what hooks me in- some think it's too sweaty/musky but I think it's soft, sweet musky. Yum.

While this is not offensive, I find it to be cheap and adolescent smelling (no offense teens!) There is a strong fruity accord, with a hint of strawberries, and NO chypre as the advertising classifies it. For the price and a famous "house" I think it's disappointing and too expensive. The staying power and sillage is poor, too. Actually,I have been very disappointed with Dior for over 20 years.

Maybe its just my nose or my body chemistry but I really wouldn't describe this as fruity. Its more "brown sugar" oriental on me and sadly, I cannot pick out the caramel popcorn but that is not to say that this fragrance deserves a 2.9 rating! I agree with those who say that its an inoffensive and classic scent. I smell dried prunes, roses, just a *tiny tiny* bit of strawberry and something else I can't make out(its sort of like a more foody spice or oriental). Its not overly strong with sharp notes as long as you only use one or two spritz. The packaging is beyond GORGEOUS! This must be my prettiest bottle in my perfume collection...you really must see this for yourself because it simply takes your breath away. Dior also has one of the best application sprays because it spritzes out evenly and never clogs. The staying power is okay but for a EDP, I expected it to last longer then 3-4 hours. I purcased the 100ml and paid $100 for it (Miss Cherie Dior is the most expensive perfume I believe; the 50ml cost $80CDN) but its worth it! Highly recommended for all age groups and to all noses.

Miss Dior Cherie is a very nice, inoffensive, easy-to-wear scent. It's a fruity scent, but not in an Escada-ish type of way. I can't place the notes (never been too good at that!), but I smell strawberries, apples, and some subtle musk. I don't get the patchouli from what I can smell. The bottle is so beautiful! Girly all the way! I would definitely wear this if I received it as a gift, but I'm not sure I'd buy this anytime soon (just bought Angel Lily, and that wasn't cheap)! :o) I would classify this scent as carefree, feminine, yet sophisticated. It's very nice..try it!
