I don't look for complexity in my perfumes, no grandiose stories -- I look for something that smells good. Miss Dior Cherie does -- oh, does it.

I get a light bouquet of flowers, fruits, and a slight bit of musk when I sniff it, and I do pick up the caramel corn. It isn't buttery or foody-smelling, just a sudden little tinge that makes you think of sugar. It's a unique scent, I find -- floral but not too sweet, sophisticated but not too ladies-who-lunch. (And I speak as one who loves wearing perfumes from her grandma's generation.)

I guess I'm in the minority, but this scent is just magical for me. I cannot stop smelling my skin when I've put it on. (And I broke down and bought a bottle, though I've got ten other perfumes to get through, just because I thought it smelled so gorgeous.)

I would describe this as a one dimensional scent. It totally lacks of complexity. All I can smell are artificial sweet berries and soap. I love the packaging, though.

At first this reminds me of Carolina - one of my favorites. However, within 30 minutes it smells exactly like Sunflowers and that's not a good thing.

At first, this smells exactly like Elizabeth Arden's Sunflowers to me. Then you are overpowered by a minty madicinal smell, just like Ben-Gay. Horrible! In all fairness, I didn't test this on my skin, but after just smelling the tester, why would I want to?

The first time that I smelled Miss Dior Chérie in the store, I was intrigued, but I was not sure it was for me. I usually like floral scents and dislike sweet scents. This one is really beautiful and I am really surprised to love it ! I don't get any pop corn note, but I don't really care about that...On me, it starts with sweet and fresh strawberries and dries down to a more subtle and not as sweet strawberry. I like the face that it remains like strawberries. I hate it when the fruit smells like jam or fake, but I adore the way this one smells. It's not overypowering. Lasting power is amazing, of course it fades through the day, but I can still smell it on my skin when I get to bed. DH is very sensitive to all perfumes, it gives him headaches, but he actually like this one...well at least, he does not comment on it, which means it falls in the "safe" category.

all along i find miss dior cherie is far too sweet...i was once a promoter at christian dior...what we do is to spray the perfume from afar...this will help to create a soft sweet note...& yes, this tactic has helped us to sell a huge quantiity of the fragrance...however,spraying it on body will be too overpowerinng...it makes me choke whenever i try...but still,i give it 4 lippies...as i notice that many men do love this fragrance...they find it feminine & unique...

I was really looking forward to trying this, and while it's decent, it was somewhat of a disappointment. Fruity and musky, it was rather blah on me. Everyone says this smells like strawberry, but I just don't pick up on it that much. If it was a tad bit sweeter, it would be perfect. I own a decant of this, but I wouldn't go out and buy a bottle.

UPDATE: After re-trying this one, I really fell in love. I still don't pick up on the strawberry, but I love the fruity-floral nature of this now. Not sure what made me change my mind, but hey...we're women! We can do that! :)

This perfume lived 5 stages of life on my skin... some wonderful and some not so wonderful. At first spritz, a light and airy burst of plump succulent blackberries first appeared. It had an underlining of slight musk but ever so light. It was a gorgeous scent. Unfortunately, it was followed by the 'terrible twos' period, the lucious berries dove into the background and a 'waxy and overly floral soap' note appeared. I couldnt figure it out what was the scent till my DH said, it's like the old stuffy pink soaps your mom used to give you (Camay). He was right... somehow the light and sweet scent dove into a fake floral pungent smell. As the dry continued an hour later, the waxy floral note was lingering but a strawberry note appeared. It was a definite very sweet strawberry note. It certainly wasn't horrible to my nose but it wasn't a compelling 'wow' one either. The last life stages appeared nearly 3 hours after the first spritz and I will admit the scent has not wavered in strength (one thing for sure is the perfume dilution is very good). The 2nd last smell shocked me a bit. It was a sugary sweetness of a strawberry Quik milkshake mix. The last scent was a warm but sweet patchouli hinted with berries. A seductive scent with a playful side. I loved it but it was soooo light that you had to be taking deep breaths while holding my skin right ON your nose. :(

Overall, the potency is to be applauded as it held and held... but unfortunately the scent evolved over time to something quite unappealing to my nose. Though I'm sure a lot of ladies would love the sugariness of it, I was hoping for someting less 'artificial'.

I feel compelled to write another review of this fragrance, having put it away for the fall/winter but recently rediscovered it. I have been searching for the perfect fragrance for this warmer-than-usual East Coast winter, and my sultry orientals, sexy amber vanillas, and snuggly comfort scents just aren't cutting it. Miss Dior Cherie is the perfect antidote. I forgot how much I love this and how well it works with my chemistry. The initial juicy burst of strawberry lingers but allows the violet leaves and hint of patchouli to come through. In the end, I am left with a sweet, sultry, musky skinscent that makes me feel young, sexy and fresh. This is not a much-loved scent here on MUA but if it works with your chemistry, it's a sweet little gem of a fragrance!

wen I was about 13 years old, I bought for 10 $$$ pink little Tweety bottle at Warner bros., and when I first time smelled this Dior Cherie I knew from the very first sniff it smells just like that!!! Cheap, juicy sweet, too girlish... not my cup of tea, sorry.

this perfume was a gift to me from my bf. a lovely scent. i'm a huge fan of sweeter perfumes (i've been wearing chanel coco madmoiselle since it came out) and i think this dior perfume rates right up there with my coco. a few sprays along my neck line and wrist lasts a good 12 hours. i've been receiving many compliments from the ppl i work with.

if you dont like sweet perfumes then dont buy this. but if you're a sweet girl and love sweet perfumes then this is most def. for you.

once i run out i will most def. get another bottle.

Very nice scent. I used this as my winter fragrance and I thought it passed the bill. The scent was soft and it lingered all day without being obtrusive to anyone. Only word of caution is the bow-like top has sharp edges, so be careful! Would repurchase though.

When I was younger---and my parents weren't looking---one of my favorite treats was a Pixie Stick dumped into a can of Coke. This perfume smells like that concoction tasted: just cloyingly, stickily, sickeningly sweet. I probably have a few new cavities to add to my collection.

This is an extremely mundane, nothing special scent - I am not a fan of fruity scents anyway, but this is just boring, smells like a dozen others perfumes on the market, I expected a bit more from Dior.
Does not compare to the original and still best Miss Dior.

I like this fragrance a lot. I bought Miss Dior Cherie EdP in France a couple of days ago... I had tried it a few days before my departure and I finally bought it just before I came back to Montreal, as a special treat to myself. lol

It reminds me of Carolina, from Carolina Herrera, but more foody-sweet, more caramel-ish. It also reminds me of Coco Mademoiselle in some ways. IMHO it's not a teenager fragrance though, I'm almost 26 and I don't feel like a little girl when I wear this superb "I'm a feminine woman" fragrance (if that makes any sense). Doesn't smell that much strawberry on me, not really floral neither. Very good lasting power. Strong but not the type that will give me headaches, so it's a winner!

And the bottle. The cuteness indeed. Both girly and sophisticated.

My all-time favorite from Dior is Hypnotic Poison, but Miss Dior Cherie is now my second Dior's fave fragrance! Would not hesitate to buy it again. It's such a lovely scent!

Strong cloyingly sweet berry notes at first, then a generic fruity floral scent in the drydown (that you find in so many perfumes these days). Very sweet and fruity, but nothing special. More like a BBW body splash scent than a sophisticated perfume. I wouldn't pay the money for this, when I can just buy a cheapy berry fruit scent at the drugstore.

though the bottle is absolutely adorable and lustworthy (ribbon and all!) i can't say i love the scent. it's cutesy and whimsical, i must say. the strawberry note is very, very pleasant and delicious like a reviewer below me has mentioned - none of that fake plastic stink (oh i love dior. even when they do foody scents they do it best). but, i am not one for fruity scents and i'm a bit sorry to mention that i'm a little disappointed as well - i wish dior had balanced the girliness in the scent with a bit more complexity. a no for me.

Almost identical to Coco Mademoiselle, but with a slightly more interesting fruity drydown. I still think it's pretty mediocre.
