I was expecting this scent to bear at least some resemblance to its big sister, Miss Dior, but there was none. On me Miss Dior Cherie smells just like strawberry jam (albeit a very expensive one!) For a moment when I sprayed it on I caught the scent of real strawberry - the first time I have ever smelled this note in a scent - but then it became more and more sweet and jam-like, with vanilla in the background, and that was it as far as other notes were concerned. No florals, no popcorn - nothing! Miss Dior Cherie really is like a child's strawberry flavoured bath product and far too sweet for me to wear.

Am I the only one who thinks this smells like straight booze? Sorry. I don't have much to say other than that. :) I just couldn't imagine wearing this--worrying about smelling like a lush.

Well, I guess I've seen everything when it comes to reviews. One said this was old lady, another said it was too immature. Which is it? Neither. I got strawberry at first, then it dried down to buttered popcorn in the middle note. By the end of my workday, I got the sandalwood. It was delicious. I found it to be a youthful, refreshing change from the sophisticated Chanels I usually wear, and I'm 46. It is a bit girly, but that is alright with me.

I don't care for this fragrance at all. In fact, I think it puts me in a bad mood. I discovered this after I went and bought a full bottle. (The sample strip just smelled so much better, I thought.)
The 'strawberry' note doesn't smell much like real strawberries, more like strawberry flavoring, or some unidentifiable fruit or fruit punch note in general. There is also a sharp, plastic-like smell in the background.
It's a shame that it is so expensive, when it smells like something one could pick up from The Body Shop.

The bottle is gorgeous, but I think the scent is kind of meh. It's nice enough, and smells like a quality fragrance, but I just don't care for the strawberry note. I can see how others would enjoy it, and I bet it will be popular.

A lovely fragrance - starts off smelling like a fresh sweet strawberry, then develops into a sexy fragrance very much like Coco Mademoiselle. I find that it lasts approximately 4 hours on me, so the lasting power could be better for an EDP. The bottle alone is worth buying the perfume, it's gorgeous and ultra feminine.

Miss Dior Cherie is ripe, sugared strawberry and soap on my skin and the lasting power is a little on the skinny side for an EDP (only about four or five hours when applied to direct skin). I think this is satisfactory (though not stellar), but I can’t imagine why anyone would pay that much for strawberry perfume when there are a plethora of strawberry fragrances in drugstores already. Although I like MDC, it just does not posses the depth of Christian Dior’s other fragrances. MDC reminds me of something that Escada would make as one of their limited edition summer scents. My overall impression of this is that it's a more sophisticated (and better smelling) version of Victoria's Secret's Strawberries and Champagne.

I love the bottle, it's perfect. If only it's contents didn't belong on a thirteen year old girl. Strawberry with some vanilla notes, and too sweet by half.

Can't find anything interesting about this scent. It doesn't kick in any direction - not sweet, not strong, not light, not fruity, not green, not powdery, not oriental....nothing. It doesn't even stink.(This is why it has two lippies.) But to me it is a very forgetable scent, even on other people.

I tried this at the drugstore...it is SOOOO SWEET! Nasty. It's just overwhelmingly sweet and sugary. Yuck.

Was attracted by the super cute bottle, I just can't resist ribbons. I love that this is such a fruity, girl-ish (not girl-y, but girl-ish!) scent, like something you'd buy at a drugstore for your 12 year old cousin but more elegant. All in all though, it is a but immature as far as projecting your womanhood goes, but I've found that with light applications, it's perfect for the office (I've got a relatively conservative job) or if I'm feel flirty on weekends, I blend it with another scent by another maker (can't say, sorry, but it's all woods and smells deliciosuly masculine) in a 2:1 ration of spritzes, to tone it down a bit.... I'm keeping it in a drawer because I really think that this will last me years if it doesn't turn first. Or if my tastes don't change substantially....

i wouldn't buy it again b/c i got a 100ml which will probably last a lifetime :)
i'm don't know fragrances like many of the ladies here, but this is a sweet smell. It's yummy. Kinda caramel corn/strawberries/w/ maybe vanilla. It's a little heavy to me & so I probably won't be wearing it too much in the summer/late spring, but who knows. The little ribbon bottle is so cute & young. A vague reminder of VS strawberries & champagne, but MDC is much richer & appealing to me & doesn't make me want to gag like the VS did. Recommend- it's a great date perfume

One word comes to mind: SWEET!! This is the sweetest fragrance I've tried aside from Escada's Island Kiss and Rockin' Rio, but this is not that one-dimensional heavy fruit punch/pina colada. This is definitely more elegant and delicate. I smell lots of bright spring/summer flowers, tropical and mediterranean fruits with a hint of musk. When I wear this it I seem to see bees buzzing around me... or is that men? I can see this falling along the lines of "old lady" fragrance, as I have Chanel No. 5, Coco, and Miss Dior, but this is for the modern woman with traditional values, sweet but sexy, strong and delicate.

Miss Dior Cherie... So many out there dislike this little lady, but I really can't see why! Ohhh I can see that this is not the most original fragrance... Apparition, Coco Mademoiselle, hey even Chance are quite similar in concept but regardless once you spray this on your skin and walk around and everyone around notices and compliments... why would you complain? I sure would not!
Strawberries smothered in caramelly butterscotch... sweet creamy aroma fluttering like butterflies wings all around me... Ohhh I do like this a lot! People move closer to get a better whiff in the elevator and ask what this wonderful smell could be... Smiles all around... Miss Cherie is a happy girl and she spreads her joy and happiness all around... and for me that is enough to wear it once in a while...

This fragrance is my new favorite! The trick however, is a little goes a long way. If you spray to much of this on, it smells horrible! I did just that at Sephora and thought I was going to vomit. Then, I got this fragrance as a gift and figured I better give it another try. I am glad I did now, because it really is nice... if you do not over do it. Some reviewers say that this smells old lady-ish (I am 24) and can see how that can be... if you over do it. If you spray it on lightly it wears really well. It last for several hours. It is much sweeter than something I would normally wear, but I am hooked. I find it very original. I do not think it smells like Sunflowers at all (if I did, I would not be wearing it!). It does smell different from when you first spray it on and after you have been wearing it a few hours. Both are very nice though.

This is my signature scent and I only recently discovered it at a dept. store after admiring the gorgeous bottle with the little silver bow. Sweet, elegant, innocent & sophisticated are words that spring to mind with this scent. Warm, sweet and popular with the opposite sex too - my bf loves it! Smells like strawberries with a caramel undertone. Just gorgeous if a little pricey NZ$144 for 50ml.

This is a surprising find for me. I wanted a change from my usual white floral, clean scent. Dior Cherie is sweet and warm. To me it smells a bit like caramel popcorn when I first spray it on and after it dries, a few hours later...it smells elegant and sophisticated.

Ugh......old lady. If I smelled this on someone, I would think they were stashing moth balls on them. I gave it a chance, but it reminds me of a cob-webby old house, LOL!
