This cream isn't moisturizing enough for my very dry and sensitive skin. The texture is dry and it's not at all creamy. It has a lot of ingredients, including some very good moisturizing ones.

This stuff is great. I have have been battling dry, sensitive, irritated skin. I have used many different products from scientific to natural. This is the best and it is less than $1 per oz. Within days it help heal my dryness. It is fragrance free and my skin drinks it in. This works for me. I tried the lotion and it did nothing for me skin.

Am pretty underwhelmed by this, given how much I love the face cleanser. Am beginning to realise that my body skin loves natural butters/oils, ie, shea, and these more synthetic moisturizers just don't work for my skin. I liked that this stuff sank in fast even if I slathered it on. Didn't leave my skin sticky/greasy so was able to use it in the day. However the hydration leaves much to be desired. The fragrance-free thing was great too, didn't have weird chemical smells like other fragrance-free moisturizers, but will not be repurchasing again.

This has become my first official HG. My left elbow always seems to get dry during the winter and this is the first product I've used that actually makes it go away. I originally bought it to use on my face, but I've found that I prefer it for a body cream.

Best moisturizer I have ever tried, wish it had sunscreen in it, however I put my sunscreen on top of it, not too heavy of a feel.My derm. told me to use this for a non greasy feel. I use this now all over. LOVE IT. Even though it is a cream, it is not too heavy.

Previously, my favorite body lotion was LUSH's Dream Cream. But this is definately giving that a run for the money. First of all, it's a better value ($15 at my local CVS for the 16oz tub). It is pretty much odorless (while I love the dream cream scent, is can be powerful). Finally this stuff sinks in better and gives my skin a softness that lasts for days.
I always had trouble taking hot baths because my skin would dry out terribly. But if I get in the bath on the day I've applied this, it coats my skin with a slick film that really keeps my skin soft and hydrated (and I don't have to put any oils in the bath).
I've only been using this a week or so, so I'm waiting to see if this has the same good effects on skin tone and bumps as the dream cream did. I haven't tried using it on my face, although I do use it on my neck. I might try using it on my face during the winter next year.
The only downside to this is that it leaves you slightly sticky for a few minutes after you apply, but I don't mind.

This product has been amazing for my daughter who suffers from eczema. I make sure I lather her up daily and especially after baths. I started using it too after noticing small dry patches here and there. It cleared them up and she only occasionally flares up on one spot on her leg. It used to be all up and down her legs, arms and feet. No more! Great stuff!

Prior to trying Cerave, I used Cetaphil's moisturizing cream and given a choice I would definitely choose Cetaphil over Cerave. My dermatologist recommended Cerave to me for my extremely dry, irritable, sensitive skin and when I lathered it on my face it felt like acid! After about an hour I had what felt like a smooth film on my skin but after that it just felt drier than ever. It was just okay for moisturizing my body (which is not as sensitive as my face) but I still wasn't impressed. I've switched to just using pure extra virgin olive oil as a moisturizer now.

by far the best basic cream, I use it all over my body including the face, also a nice carrier for essential oil and other stuff, will buy and buy again

I'll echo another reviewer and say were it not for MUA, I never would have found this fantastic product. This winter has left my body with huge, dry, scaly patches unlike any I've had before. This cream had an instant and long lasting effect. For a cream, it does not have a heavy or greasy texture, absorbs very quickly and its moisturizing benefit lasts a full 24 hours. There is no detectable fragrance and one tub lasts about a month for me (full body application.) $14.99 at CVS.
