Very lightweight and matte, which is a good thing. But it's a little too orange for my skin. Overall, not all that impressive, particularly for the price.

I think that the packaging is tacky and the colour is too strong for pale people. I didn't use a lot and I had a good brush to apply it with, and yet it still managed to make me look like a clown.

After trying some drugstore bronzers I bought this one based on the reveiws here. I needed something that was fine milled to blend in because regardless of whatever intensity of bronzer I use, it shows up very nicely on my fair NC20 skin. This is good, not too pigmented but glowy, not shiny shimmery, very good basic product. If you were to compare this side by side with Nars Laguna, I think that Laguna looks like a light toasty brown and this to me is a tad orangier looking in the pan, however it doesn't show up orangy on the skin. I find that Stila's packaging doesn't appeal to me at all but the compact is in good condition and there is a great mirror. I got this in a Stila online sale as part of package. I would repurchase simply because it's a good basic.

great bronzing. i love the compact, it is very pretty with a build in mirror. the whole compact lasts a really long term with daily usage. it provides a nice colors around my cheeks. i mainly use this to highlight my cheek bones and then add a blush to it. it adds a nice warmth to my face. the texture is very silky and soft. great for bronzing.

I think what I meant to purchase was actually Stila Sun Highlighter, but instead came home with Stila SPF 15. There seems to be a difference. Stila Sun SPF 15 is a lovely bronzer for sure, but it doesn't have that ooomph. Or any sparkle. Just some color. After a light application, my skin does look sun-kissed. After checking the ingredients, I like that the product is oil-free. After an hour or two, my skin starts to feel really slick. Unfortunately, thanks to the added sunscreen, the bronzer makes my already oily skin more oily. I think for more normal skin types, this bronzer would be great. It applies well, blends easily and I could see the potential for it to be long lasting on non-oily skin types. I hope that Stila Sun Highlighter works better for me!

I have this 01. Perfect for my winter coloring without being obnoxious. The powder goes on soft and smoothly. Doesn't turn strange colors on my yellow undertone. Doesn't break me out. IMHO that's plenty for 5-star rating. Stila is my hero.

i have this stuff in shade 1. I think it looks great on, not cakey or streaky. i haven't found my HG bronzer yet, but this is as close as I've come. will repurchase.

I bought this is shade 1.. and it looks like it wouldn't be flattering to my skin in the compact, but it is. i have fair/fair-med skin. this is a nice buildable bronzer without shimmer. the color wasn't orange on me, but it's not a brown color either. it has a bit of a redish or oink hint to it.. which i thought i wouldn't like but i really do like this bronzer. it's very pretty. and it blends well, nice finely milled bronzer!

At first I was a bit worried that this might look a bit too orange on my N4/NW20 skin, but I was pleasantly surprised when this bronzer blended in quickly and easily, leaving a natural looking, matte finish. Like other Stila products I've tried, this bronzer is super-smooth and can be layered for a deeper bronze look. The spf 15 is also a nice bonus. Overall, I really like this bronzer so far and have a feeling that it will become a staple in my summer makeup bag. Another winner from Stila!

Great everyday bronzer, not too much sparkle or glitter. A tad bit on the orangy side and if I get even the smallest hint of a tan this color is too light for me. Love how it has spf 15.

If it matches your skin tone, it is a really natural, believable colour. I really love it because it lasts long, looks good and is easy to apply. Anytime I wear it, I get a lot of compliments about how I look sun-kissed. No one ever suspects its not real.

I have fair skin and this bronzer is very sheer and blends easily to look natural on my skin. I would recommend this to other fair skinned girls who have a hard time finding a natural looking bronzer. This product looks especially good when I am a little bit tanned in the summer.

This stuff is expensive as bronzers go, but I got it at a good price as part of the 'gift of glow' set from ebay. I actually bought the set for the other items but thought I'd give this a go, and I really like it. It's a nice natural colour for my fair-medium skin (I tried it yesterday and I still have my pale winter skin!). It's nice and blendable and seems to last well throughout the day. I love the cute packaging with the handy mirrored compact, and ther's the added bonus of having an spf in ti, which I've never seen before in a bronzer, making this really good for summer. I'd definitely buy this again, but as it is expensive, I'd look on ebay first. It's a keeper! : )

WOW!

Despite a steep price (which is to be expected if you want high quality products) Stila's bronzing powder was everything I wanted and more.

When I wore other bronzers like cheap drugstore ones, my friends would immediately comment on how I was wearing a bronzer.
But now when I wear Stila's Bronzing powder, everyone thinks I actually got a tan!

My skin looks so naturally tanned and radiant whenever I use it!

I definitely recommend this product!

A few more good things about this product are:
Slim enough to fit in a pocket~
Lovely compact that makes you feel proud to whip out in front of friends~
Good amount~
No complaints!

I am an NC40(MAC studiofix) and I was going to purchase shade 02 but the MA at sephora recommended shade 01. I love this! It looks very natural but creates a more defined and glowy face. The shimmer is minimal and doesn't look fake. I usually apply this with a small kabuki brush and concentrate it under my cheekbones and dusk it on nose, foreheard, chin and a little along my jaw. The compact is mirror but doesn't come with an applicator. It's pricey but so far I am liking it. Plus the sun protection is a great added bonus!

I use Shade 1 and it's not orange on my skin at all. It warms it up perfectly and gives me that healthy glow. It's very sheer, so you can build it up, but it's a bit too light when I'm quite tan in summer. Otherwise, it's perfect when I'm not dark.

I've been trying to find a bronzer for ages. MAC makes my face look muddy. Benefit Hoola (as one MUAer described perfectly) looks like I threw dirt on my face. Nars look like I got burnt in a fire. BB does nothing. The biggest problem is that bronzers keep making my face look dirty, not healthy, not tanned, not glowy. But Stila *1 is the best I've found so far. I wore nothing but IPF and *1 yesterday and that's all I needed. I didnt even need eyeshadow (which I never go without) and I look "done". Stila sun makes me look like I got a little bronzey tan. very healthy and fresh. I think the trick to bronzer is color theory. Not just warm tone or cool tone. Cuz I'm warm tone and *2 looks dirty on me. The SA at Nordstrom Stila asked me if I tan "brown" or tan "red". I had no clue so I told her my biggest problem with bronzers is that they make me look dirty. She said then I want *1 not *2 cuz *2 is more brown and *1 is more red. The brown is what makes me look dirty. And she's right. I love *1. And all the other reviews are right, it has sooo much pigment in it that I have to use a very soft fluffy brush and blend well.

I really like this bronzer! When I went to Stila counter the MA suggest to use Shade 1 she also gave me to try the new Sun Highlighter but I bought Shade 1 because it has more color in it!Sun Highlighter is a product that you have to put it asbove Stila Sun for more glow because Stila Sun is matte! It's perfect for those who has oily skin! PERFECT!!!!! On my skin it doesn't turn into orange only if I put too much!!Also I adore the slim packaging!!It's so beautiful and practical!!!Maybe next summer I will buy it again or maybe I will try Mac's Bronzing Powder for a change!!!I don't know!!What do you think girls MAC or STILA Bronzing Powder? I am in a dilemma!!!

I really like this bronzer! I bought it in shade #1 and it is perfect for my pale skin. Did not make me orange. Didn't notice any shimmer in it. Packaging is nice. A little on the expensive side, but all Stila products are expensive.
