I ordered this in orange from Cherryculture.com when they had their 20% off sale. I've always had a color corrector (the standard pink and green) with my Tabula Rasa concealer (sadly discontinued but luckily I purchased a few backups). I never used them b/c they didn't do anything for me. I have dark circles and hyperpigmentation. My concealer did a decent job of hiding them but I felt like I had to pile it on and sometimes it felt obvious.

Then I was on the fabulous youtube one day watching Cassandra Bankston videos (I love how well she covers her acne and even though my skin doesn't have that level of issues I try to pick up on her techniques) I saw that she had one on using the color correctors. Then google led me to find color correctors for darker skin. Then I discovered that I was trying the wrong correctors! Orange or Peach is what I should have been looking for.

So, my search for a decently priced orange corrector ensued. I was going to get the L'Oreal one but stumbled upon the nyx concealer in a jar which is a third of the price. I didn't want to spend to much on something that I wasn't sure was for me. I'm glad that I went with the nyx as I hear that the L'Oreal has shimmer and that just isn't necessary. I don't need my eyes highlighted.

Initially this has been wonderful. I say initially b/c I am going to update this review after I have spent a full day wearing it. I just tried it last night when I opened my package. It covered really well. I didn't even need to use my actual concealer. Just put the corrector on then my usual foundation. I had no problems applying it with my ring finger. I'll have to see if it settles weird through the day or if it melts away in this summer heat.

I purchased the NYX concealer in a jar in orange, yes ladies, orange! I know that most of us have purchased a shadow or lipstick in this color and I questioned a concealer in this color myself but I have been presently pleased.
I have medium brown skin (NARS New Guinea foundation), and purchased this primarily as an undereye concealer and brow enhancer. While the color is bright orange at initial application it blends very well under the eye to a natural finish. If you watch the beat face honey tutorials and her creation of the "perfect brow" this is the best concealer for brown skinned girls attempting that look. Great concealer but it does require a light touch and intermediate blending skills for the best wear or it will appear chalky.

I must say I am pleasantly impressed. I purchased the new "Full Coverage" Formula and I am in love. I covers my dark circles very well and it really brightens my under eye area. It lasted all day and I have very oily skin. I use this under my foundation and then set with my powder. I was a bit skeptical at first because it was creasing within 2 minutes but once I set it with my powder, it was perfect. I have completely neglected my MAC pro longwear concealer and being that it is a fraction of the price, Im glad. I will recomend this product to anyone and I will definitely purchase again.

I thought i was really going to like this but i didn't.I find that this product isn't creamy so I find this hard to apply and to blend nicely especially when you're using a brush.I find that even when using my fingers to spread it it ends up being somewhat cakey
Though it stay on really well.It was super hot yesterday and had my face covered in sweat and when i looked at my under eye almost all on the concealer was still there even though my under eye was wet..The coverage when you can get it on your eyes is pretty full coverage and 6 grams for 6 bucks it;s worth a try.

I have this in orange to neutralize under my eyes but unfortunately it doesn't really work for me...Not because of the product but because of the color. I think I need a more salmony concealer for my skintone...But the product itself performs well. Its creamy and has great coverage, so i'd like to try another one of these in my skintone for blemishes..But I wouldn't recommend these for undereyes like the reason I initially bought it because It settles into lines under my eyes and makes them look cakey...and I am only 16, I barely have lines.....I have tried using eyecream, primer, setting powder but it doesn't effect it much. This is my ONLY complaint about the product. The price is excellent and the jar will last a long time.

A good concealer with a wide range of colors and an affordable price.
However, it creases a bit after 3-4 hours, so you have to reapply.

First time I bought the concealer, had some doubt, but now I totally don't! Just dab on dark circles, or blemishes and done! Looks like I have perfect skin when I really don't. Their little quote" You can pretend the word "concealer doesn't even exist in your dictionary." (I think that's how it goes, sorry if I got it wrong, though) really tells the truth about the concealer's results. I bought in TAN, so it blends with my skin perfectly. This isn't the first time I purchased their product, though. I also bought the stick version, but not really what I hoped for. It changed color on my skin, and after like, a month, went from tan to a light peach-y color, (gross looking). But all in all, NYX concealer in a jar is cute, and worth it.

I really love this concealer! I have this in Beige and Medium because I couldn't decide what colour I needed. Beige is a little to yellow toned for me but matches better than Medium, because it is too dark.
A very small amount is need to cover acne or dark spots.
I use this on my blemishes and I use a different liquid concealer for my under eyes. This concealer is soo long lasting. I didn't set it with a powder and I have oily combo skin and it did not fade, melt, or disappear on my face! It still provided the coverage of medium-full and it doesn't feel too thick on the skin. However if you keep layering, it could get cakey.
It's a drier cream product, however if you use your fingers it will warm up easily and it is easily to blend on the skin! I would recommend!

I got the medium shade and it blends well on my skin. I have eyebags so dark that I can belong to a Tim Burton film but this concealer minimizes the darkness and makes the lines less noticeable. It is creamy and easy to apply (I apply using my fingers.) It is also pigmented. However, the staying power is so-so. I applied this before dance practice and it's barely there after 4 hours.

This is a great concealer for the price. It is creamier than MAC's Studio finish concealer so I can also use it on under eye circles but the staying power and its ability to cover pimples aren't as good. I love the color range, I am NW15 and I'm actually using the second lightest color (fair) which NEVER happens. You get lots of product, it's cheap and quite effective, I would definitely repurchase and I want to try the green color as well.

A concealer that's relatively cheap and works great
Price: $8.95 CAD
Pkg: plastic jar
Colour: (Beige) yellowish medium beige
Pigmentation: full/opaque
Texture: creamy
This doesnt' crease on my undereye area after a full day. It also stays matte for the duration. I dab on concealer using the tapered point of EcoTools Eyeshadow Brush on acne spot and blend out the edges of the concealer only. Never blend out over the acne since it'll take away the concealer
It performs as well as MAC Studio Finish if not better. And at 1/3 of the price, I'd rather rebuy this one.
There's a good reason why I'm in love with NYX

I ordered this product after seeing it in a few YouTube tutorials from amazon. I bought it for only $5.50 online and I don't know how much it goes for in stores. All I know is that I love this stuff!! It goes on silky smooth and covers without caking onto my skin. The color light is perfect for my skin color. This is my HG concealer out of many many high end ones I have tried. Even though the packaging is not ideal I will be purchasing again when I run out.

Favorite concealer ever. if you find the right shade, there's nothing keeping my dark circles from being banished. Also, its only 5.50!!! how can you reject a high quality product for that low??? very creamy and does not look cakey.

edit; as i went along with better concealers, i found out that if you do not keep this in more of a dry, cool envoirment, it will melt.

I have difficulty finding concealers (& foundations) that are light enough for my Irish, pink undertone skin. This concealer is one of the lightest out there! This product has nice texture & goes on smooth. It provides good coverage, but I feel like by the end of the day, has worn off a bit in the undereye area. You must apply this product with a brush, as the container is too small to get a good finger swipe. A great value for the money, even if it's just something you keep in your purse for touchups.

This concealer is not bad. It does cover blemishes and such but in my opinion it is a little drying and a little hard to blend. I use the light shade to conceal blemishes. But overall it's does a good job, smells great and dirt cheap. I got mine on cherryculture.com for $4.50

This product is amazing...I smooth it in my hand in the morning, after using my Smashbox primer and sparingly use this as my make-up. Great coverage, lasts all day, great price! I hate liquid makeup and just can't find anything close to my natural skin color which is very fair, so I had to purchase the "yellow" one, which matches my skin perfectly, once put on and set with powder. Great!

This is said to be a dupe of Studio Finish, and for me that is untrue. It smells like Halloween costume makeup and never seems to set on my skin, it just sits there with a weird shiney finish, though it does cover well. I wouldn't buy it again because it looks unnatural on me. I will be sticking with my MAC Studio Finish.

I have it in Light and it's more or less a perfect match for my skin, and combines really well with my foundation (MAC Mineralize cream in NC15). It creases somewhat under the eyes but with a light hand it covers dark circles really well for me, and works on the occasional blemish elsewhere too. I also use it as an eyeshadow base and it works wonders for me, really holds my shadows for hours. Great, cheap product that lasts for ages despite the small jar.

Let me start off by saying I have bad hyper pigmentation and acne scars from dealing w/ acne for about 8 years. My acne is about cleared besides the occasional pimple. I usually wear revlon colorstay foundation and have been for years, it covers beautifully and last long, doesn't break me out but I was in search for something lighter for everyday wear. I tried a concealer/ powder routine that didnt provide enough coverage or lasting power in the past and was hesitant to give this a try. I LOVE this concealer. It provides a great amount of coverage for all of my acne scars and lasts all day! I use milani milani minerals compact makeup in honey beige to set it and I have a natural look that lasts all day. It doesn't break me out either! I wear the shade toast in revlon colorstay and have the concealer in tan CJ-07.

Oh concealer in a jar. How torn I am about this product. Some pros: it's cheap, I love the packaging, and the shade (Porcelain) is perfect for me. Now the actual consistency of the product is my biggest problem. It is thick and over-drying, as you blend the product into your skin it becomes a very odd consistency that I have to mask with foundation to deal with. Yet I still use this product on an almost daily basis. I will not re-purchase, because I have found some other concealers I like more (American beauty-$12 at Kohl's is a pretty good concealer I recommend it).
