I wasn't a big fan of the scent, leaves a little stickiness after it dries. The tingly cool sensation feels nice. Does a good job of moisturizing through out the day. But i don't think i'll buy it again because of the scent and the packaging. I still prefer having a pump to dispense my moisturizer than digging my fingers into a jar.

Really like this cream. I have an oily nose and this is just perfect for it, i get a slight afternoon sheen which i get rid of using blotting powder paper, but normally i would get a greasy feeling on my cheeks in the afternoon and this doesn;t happen anymore. Its like a better version of the dramatically different gel (clinique) (which does nothing dramatic)!! The only downside is I would rather have it in a pump than a jar, i hate dipping my fingers in a jar for hygiene reasons.

It has a very soft, kinda cool texture, it is not thick, but very creamy. I also love the smell, it smells very refreshing and has a hint of cucumber. I normally put it on after washing off my makeup, while my skin is still moist, and it can give off a slight ...not exactly oily, but slick feeling. I however quickly got use to it, and it doesn't bother me anymore, as my skin is sooo soft and acne free thanks to this.
It is also very affordable, and comes in a tublike container, which means you need to take out the cream with your fingers, but it also means you can get out every single drop of it. I have also dropped it quite a few times, and it seems to be very sturdy as well.
The only downside is that it doesn't have SPF, but I would still recommend it.

I am really loving this, in fact why on earth did I not try it earlier?
I have skin on the oily side, but not extremely problematic or prone to heavy acne, so all I really need is for a cream to keep my skin matte but moisturised. To my experience, this is a bit hard to find; they'll either moisturise but make you oilier (hence cause zits) or keep zits under (some;not total) control while making you look dull and dry. Well I'm happy to say this one does a good job moisturising while keeping oil low and skin looking overall better.
It's a light though not watery cream that literally melts into skin, like the previous reviewer very nicely phrased it. It feels extremely cooling which I adore; I've kept moisturizers in the fridge before to get the feeling that this one gives. Plus it literally smells like freshness to me. It's heavenly and I imagine it being even better once the weather gets warmer.
Now this comes in the old dip-your-fingers jar, but you can still use a spatula if that's not your thing. The price is more than reasonable, which is a huge plus to me. And I should mention, this is an awesome makeup base as well.
All in all this is definitely on my rebuy list. It feels good and actually does work reasonably well, which can be hard to find even when it comes to much more expensive products.

Ok, I bought this moisturiser only for 1 reason. I've been experimenting with make up, creating many looks. So that resulted in applying foundation, blush, eyeshadow (u know, the works) then removing it and trying somethink else. So I felt that my Bobbi Brown and Chanel base and moisturisers were too expensive to be wasted this way and got Nivea instead.
This melted into my acne prone/combi skin like a dream. It also had a nice fresh smell and a blue soft texture. It didnt cause me any breakouts and did a good job moisturing.
Its a keeper for me!

Unexpected love! I am not a fan of Nivea, but I was attracted to the "aqua" claim and bought it on a whim. Right away it became my favourite moisturizer.
I have oily but dehydrated skin, and I've been using AHA treatment every night, so my face became a bit flakey. I found that after the morning face wash, my face felt too tight and I needed some moisture. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this product, in addition to the much needed light moisturizing, also doubled up as a wonderful base for my EL DW foundation! I only need to blot and reapply powder once throughout the work day and I'm set!
I love the light watery texture, the smell, how easily it gets absorbed into my skin, and the fact that it doesn't make me greasier or cause pimples. Just a basic product that does what it's supposed to, at a fraction of the cost of higher end products that don't perform as well. HG material for sure.

Off the radar... I'm loving Bio oil and it works so much better on my parched skin!
I bought this dirt cheap at Walmart. I can't believe how long I've been searching for a moisturizer and I've missed this every time. I read about this on this site, and also it won the Elle Cosmetic award for 2008. I have come to love Nivea products and this is no exception. So far, no breakouts, nice fragrance and it is absorbed easily into the skin. I will update how it holds up in the Canadian winter climate... and if there ever was a test for it, this is the year!
Edit... I think this broke me out but I would try it again in the winter.

I got this with a bonus eye cream. The face lotion got used up pretty quick and now I am using the eye cream all over my face cause i like it so much and can't be bothered to buy a new container yet. I dont use eye cream anyway so I figured i could use it on my face instead. Its very light and refreshing, great for the winter, leaves your skin feeling hydrated and a good base for foundation. I really like this product.

This moisturizer is of a gel cream consistency, it's light weight, easily absorbed, and drys to a matte finish, perfect for makeup application. It leaves my face feeling hydrated and soft. The reason for the 4, is because the smell is a tad stronger than I would prefer, however it is a nice scent.
I would recommend this product!

Great product!
I have combination-oily skin and have struggled to find a moisturiser that does it all for me- this is the one. It leaves my skin more or less matte for most of the day, it hydrates appropriately hence reducing breakouts and overproduction of oil, skin is smoother and clearer after less than a month of using it.
I don't remember what made me pick up this gel-cream, im pretty sure it was a mistake- serendipity even ;) but after two years (i have tried other things inbetween as i get restless easily and find it hard to commit to one product for too long) i always come back to Aquasensation simply because it works the best and trust me, i've tried to knock it off the pedestal but can't :)
Im sure i will continue to try and use other moisturisers out of curiosity but i know for a fact i will return to this one as long as my skin remains combo-oily.

I'm on to my third jar of this and I love it! It's light, easily absorbed and leaves no sticky feeling after application. A little seems to go a long way so I use it rather sparingly.
I took off a lippie as it is in a jar and it is a hassle to keep dipping my fingers into an almost empty jar especially with long nails! Also there is no SPF with this so I have to alternate use with a different SPF moisturiser. But overall, I highly recommend this :)

I love this cream for using in the summer in particular as it feels so light and refreshing, i put it in the fridge and use it after sunbathing. It has got a bit of a scent, but i like scent anyway and find it pleasant.

I've gone through my first tub of the Aqua Sensation moisturizer, and I'm pretty happy. I love the consistency and feel of it, and it's absolutely amazing for mixing with tinted moisturizer or foundation - it makes face makeup go on super smooth and easy to spread. I loved the scent at first, but I agree it is quite strong. I may re-purchase in the future. Although I like trying new things, I think I will miss it as a companion for face makeup.

A cheaper version of Lancome's Aqua Fusion. Works well, hydrates, leaves skin soft. Great base for makeup. Perfect for normal/combo skin :)

This moisturiser is the best moisturiser i have used. It works real well with my skin, making it superiorly soft and smooth. I use this with the nivea anti-shadow eye cream, which also hydrates and brighten my eyes. I am very pleased with both of these products and love the moisturiser. I have received great compliments from many people about my skin and it is really as soft as a baby's bottom. My boyfriend can't keep his hand off my smooth face and loves the smell of it. I use the aqua sensation during daytime and nightime I use Nivea Soft Cream .
From all the other comments, it seems like this moisturiser only works for some. But for me, I will continue to use this

I dont know what to think of this moisturizer. I really wanted to like it but I am not sure whether or not it is suitable with my messy skin.
I really like the cooling sensation and I wished it would last longer because it is very refreshing. However, it leaves a sticky finish, even though I try to rub it carefully and gently blend it onto my skin. It seems that these gel-cream textures take forever to be blended.
The first couple of days I was using this moisturizer as a morning cream, I noticed that my skin looked better, brigther. But after a few days, I ended up with more pimples than usual. When I stopped using this, after a short while, my skin seemed less prone to breakout, so I am very positive that this moisturizer was the culprit.
The smell is rather strong and somewhat man-ish, so I'm pretty sure it contains some fragranced ingredients. Since I have an overly sensitive skin, my face doesn't like at all to be covered with perfumed products. Perhaps that's why my skin didn't react well after a short while.
Bottom word: slightly overpriced product that I would not recommend if you have either acne-prone skin or sensitive skin (or both, like me). Oh well, another useless product in my beauty stash. :-/

I LOVE THIS MOISTURISER! It really does brighten up your skin, moisturises it, leaves it looking matte and it smells great too! I've repurchased it about 8 times and have never looked back! I alternate this with Dermalogica's Active Moist and there really is not much of a difference. Definitely HG material!

I hate this cream!
1. It caused me pimples, so I cann't see why it is recommended for oily skin
2. It smells terrible, I feel nausea when I open the jar
I will never buy it again! I will stick with my Korres moisturizers and try not to be adventurous ever again!

I love this! It's smells lovely, is great for dryness and it's so soothing and brightening! The price is great - it's my favourite 'bargain' moisturiser. The ingredients for a non-natural moisturiser aren't that bad either. The only problem is that the pot packaging: a pump bottle would be more hygienic and ecconomical.
