I go in to B&BW from time to time to see if they have some new scents, as I know they have potential to make some delicious stuff, but unfortunetely, for ME, I don't like most of their stuff. But I tried some of the lotion and body spray on my arm, and ended up buying the Exotic Coconut, and once I got home, I hated the Coconut, and went back and bought the Tropical Passionfruit. It died down into a very pleasant, sweet, summery, fruity scent. It's refreshing and light and the scent has serious staying power. I will buy again :) P.S. I forgot to add this to my review.... This stuff BURNED THE HECK out of my SKIN when I applied it! And I DO NOT have sensitive skin, AT ALL! I can put just about anything on me with NO bad reaction, and have great body chemistry and can wear anything. And I literally was scrubbing this stuff off my skin with a cool washcloth to stop the burning. Pretty crazy... if it's gonna burn like that, it should at least smell amazing right? lol.

This was a big disapointment. I tried this a few months ago, so this review comes late. I initially purchased the foaming hand soap, which smelled like a nice, sophisticated coconut fragrance, so I thought I'd go ahead and get a few things from the body line. What a mistake. I can barely detect a hint of coconut in any of the products. The shower gel was the worst of the group. After using it, it smelled like absolutely nothing except plastic. The spray and lotion were second worse. This is a headache-inducing, boring, one-dimensional fragrance. It does not seem very exotic at all. I am fine with the hand-soap, however. It smells different and better. Not sure why the difference between it and the body line. This seems to be a popular fragrance however, so it could be that my body chemistry brings out the worst in this line. I have no idea...

I am crazy about this yummy, rich coconut scent! It is a true coconut scent, which I love. Also, it lingers all day in lotion form. One of the best Bath and Body Works fragrances.

I like this scent very much. However, it needs to be re-named. It smells NOTHING like coconuts what-so-ever. I got a 2 oz. bottle delivered, and was racking my brain trying to figure out 'Where have I smelled this before?'
Then...like someone was guiding me, I went into my bathroom, pulled out my bottle of B&BW 'Warm Vanilla Sugar', and walla! That was it. This "exotic coconut", my friends, is warm vanilla sugar with a *oh-so-slight* difference. Comparing the two side-by-side, I could finally pick up a twinge of coconut in there (more like suntan lotion or strangely enough, chlorine from an indoor swimming pool?) I have a really sensitive nose. Sorry.
Again, it's a lovely scent...but a more accurate title would be "warm vanilla coconut sugar'. :)

I don't know how this earned the name of "coconut," becuz this smells NOTHING like coconut, to me- or my husband! (Thought it was my imagination, so I asked him for his opinion.)I don't know what's up with B&BW products lately... they used to be sensational and I used to recommend them to everyone. Lately, everything just seems to have the same, stinky, chemical smell. :oP {blech!} Bath & Body Works need to visit the philosophy labs and find out how they get all their bath products and lotions to smell like the fragrance names they've been given. Try philosophy's "Coconut Cream Pie!" Guaranteed to smell like coconuts, and MUCH more pleasing than this cr@p manufactured by B&BWs! Village Cosmetics also makes a Coconut All Over Body Cream (sold at Douglas Cosmetics stores) that smells like coconut and feels wonderful! Sephora, too, makes a Coconut Nectar body cream that smells fantastic and doesn't burn or sting when you apply it. Best of all, philosophy, Village, and Sephora's coconut fragrances smell like coconut, won't give you a headache, and won't disintegrate the hair in your nostrils like Bath & Body Works fragrances do. :oD

This lotion works as a perfume! It smells so amazingly lovely and I love using it all over after a shower. The smell lasts and lasts and never gets dull. Its an amazing moisturizer and leaves a nice sheen. Not sticky at all. I have stock piled! A staple for mE!

Mmmmm! I am really enjoying this fragrance, it's so warm and delicous...just yummy! DH doesn't like it, reminds him of tanning lotion, although I don't get that at all...to me it's just a rich and comforting coconut scent. Not too strong, like the Sensual Amber, it's just right. It lasts nicely, too. I do wonder about B&BW choosing to release this in the fall, as it seems more of a summery fragrance, but it works for me. One of my best B&BW purchases in a VERY long time!

Mmm... very coconutty. They should have put this out in the summer though, because it just is not jellin' with my fall vibe, dig? Ha! Overall, it's good stuff.

Mmmmmmmmm....coconut creme pie! This is very nice...light and clean, not too sweet and not overwhelming coconut. It doesn't smell like suntan lotion or anything. Seems more like a vanilla coconut to me. I've been searching for a coconut lotion for a while...I like this.

I love coconut scents and I'm so happy BBW came out with this one! To my nose it's a clean and tropical coconut and rivals some of my favorite e-tailer coconut scents. It's not heavy, milky or perfumey, just a nice fresh coconut with the tiniest hint of a floral note. I did take off one lipstick for the consistency of the lotion (not moisturizing enough for me in the fall/winter months) but I give the scent itself a 5 out of 5. I plan on buying the EDT soon.

Well finally, a Coconut product from B&BW that doesn't give me a
headache! So excited! To me it's a true Coconut scent, very creamy. I can't do their other Coconut scents, something in them has a underline scent that gives me a really bad headache. Not this one, I got the body cream & the body spray. I hope they keep this one around for awhile.
UPDATE:
Well I had to take 4 lippies away because I used it 2x's now & it feel warm, almost burning feeling to my skin. So bummed because I LOVE the scent, but will return. I suggest trying this one on at the store, because there must be something in this one. Never had this reaction like this before to any body cream. Guess I'll be sticking with the body spray on this one.

I saw this stuff in the little lotion bottle last time I was at BBW, and tried it. It smelled just like the hawaian tropic sun block...I love it!! :D
I finally went out and bought the big bottle of it today, it smells amazing.
EDIT: Had to give it away because I seemed to get an allergic reaction to it. And it smelled so good :(

I bought this on a whim at Bath & Body Works when I saw it by the cash register. I have to say, it's got be one of the best deals they've ever offered! To get a travel size bottle of this luscious stuff for only $2 is pretty awesome. I've had it for a week or two and finally decided to try it today. I was amazed at how long the scent lasted and also by how good it smelled on my skin. I've tried The Body Shop's Coconut Body Butter, and it doesn't come anywhere close to being as fabulous as BBW's Exotic Coconut Body Lotion. I can't wait to buy more stuff in the Exotic Coconut scent now that the line has officially launched.

I actually bought this and return it. But i bought it again because the scent is very addicting in some ways. When i first smell it, it smell realllllly nice. Pure sweet coconut scent, and then it changed to this weird linen or laundry scent. So i washed my hands, and the scent still stay on for a long time, but it smell okay. I returned it but i could not find anything close to this coconut scent, so i repurchase it again. The trick is to use like a dime size amount. This scent is VERY STRONG! I think it's stronger than some perfume i have. If you use too much it smells bad but if you use a small amount it smells really good. It smell very fresh too with a touch of coconut after a while. I sorta reminds me of this coconut candy. It's only $2 for a small 2 fl oz size, but this will last me forever since im only using a small amount of this lotion for the fragrance. I also mixed it with my Kiehl's Almond lotion and it smell SOOOO good!

I picked this to try over the Sensual Amber or whatever its called, because I have been look for a coconut lotion for along time. I am sick of people adding things to them like coconut lime, coconut papaya, or mixing it w/ pineapple thats just gross. I wanted just a beautiful PLAIN coconut smell. Well when I smelt this in the bottle I just died, it was perfect, just what I wanted and I was excited I couldn't wait to get home, shower and cover my body w/ this. Well once I did finally get to do that, for some reason it burned the h*ll out of my skin. I checked the ingrediants to see if they've added something, but didn't see anything wrong, it was the same as the other lotions so I Don't understand why it did that. I waited thinking the burning would stop soon but it just kept getting worse, and not only that but the smell totally changed and my whole body smelt like that horrible smell when you get your hair permed, ahh it was horrible I had to get back in the shower and wash it off. What were they thinking.

This smells really nice, but not a favorite of mine. I won't buy a big bottle of it. But if you like coconut, it's worth a try. It's s bit plastic like smelling to me. I perfer the creamy coconut they had to this.EDIT: as a layering scent...this is awesome! Works great with almost all the scents I own!

This is a new scent that will be available in the Fall. Only the travel-size lotion bottles were available, and since they always ask me if I wanna buy it before I pay for the other stuff I buy, I went ahead and got it. Anyway, this is a true coconut scent. It smells really pretty. I'm going to buy the body splash and bigger lotion when it is available.

This must be a new scent for B&BW. They only had it in lotion form in the tiny travel size bottles. It's a yummy coconut scent. I got so sick of their coconut, pineapple, pina colada scented stuff. This is a nice change. It's a strong, true coconut scent. I've worn it only a couple times and have already gotten compliments. I plan on buying the full size version when it becomes available.
