This is the worst rating i have given any product so far. These glosses have no staying power and the texture of them is not very nice. The packageing is also very lousy. The little plastic container that holds the gloss is glued to the inside of the tin, and in just 4 days it fell right out of the tin. Which then surprised me how little gloss was actually in the tin. Only 20%, no more like 15% of the tin actually contains gloss in it.This was a major dissapointment.

I used to love this in high school but now I don't. There are so many better glosses out there. These come in flimsy containers which get stuck, I had one where I literally had to pry it open and the gloss containers glued into the big one fall out too. So in general flismily constructed and rather ugly packaging, with mediocre gloss. The colors are actually really pretty but they dont have any staying power and they feel shall I say "greasy" on.

I've got the type of lips that rock this gloss. Seriously, this stuff is the bomb on me. Lasts 5+ hours on me. Love most of the colors. SO MUCH PRODUCT in a little tin. The duos are great alone or mixed. This is my gloss line - this makes my lips look great.

I have this in Soho and hardly ever use it. Way too thin and have to constantly reapply. Not worth the money in my opinion. There are much better glosses out there at the price you pay for this. Feels really greasy and no staying power whatsoever. I don't care if the tin is cute- it the product doesn't work it is not worth it.

Best lipgloss by far! Beautiful colors, HUGE tins (last forever), and perfect silky smooth, never-sticky consistancy. Love them!!

I bought this awhile ago in Baj Baj because it looked like a nice gloss, and the container was HUGE. The reason I didn't rate this any higher is because Cargo advertizes the massive size of the tin, but you don't realize how shallow the pans are. It is a nice gloss, smooth and non-sticky, but I was disappointed and felt mislead so this gets a two.

I love all the colours and I quite like the texture as it isn't sticky at all, and you do get heaps of gloss, but I hate the fact that it is in a pot. I don't like putting my fingers into products and I don't really like having to carry around a lip brush. But I will probably purchase this in several other colours as I do like this gloss, despite the packaging.

The package is bulky and has no place to store a lip brush. However, I really like the consistancy and it makes my lips so soft. One shortfall is it needs to be re-applied quite often. One thing I like about it is that it's not tacky like most lip glosses. I'll purchase again.

I didn't like the package, it's huge! There was no colour on my lips.. I was hoping that the dark purple would darken my lips slightly, but could not see a difference. For the price they sell it at, I would not buy. You can get the same consistency in a lot of other glosses, and making a night/day difference, I really don't see how, it doesn't give any colour, and I can't see a difference between the two shades in the tin when I use it on my lips. It was just like apply hardened oil on my lips. A lot of other lips glosses do better and less pricey.

I have the new daily individual packed lip glosses and I must say they are my new favorite!! They're beautiful and the consistency is wonderfully slippery. Very cute packaging, and it even came with a lip brush. I love it!

These tins look cute but aren’t particularly practical for tiny handbags for touch-ups, particularly because I prefer to apply this sort of gloss with a lip brush. And you will need to touch-up quite a bit considering that they aren’t sticky and don’t have a lot of lasting power. That said, they are comfortable to wear on the lips and have lovely shimmers in some of the shades. They don’t seem to have a noticeable flavour. It would be nice if these were more pigmented in general. Probably wouldn’t buy again but an OK product.

I have always toyed with the idea of buying this product and I finally gave in and did so. I bought one of the new colors, Twin Cities and I have to say that the colors are gorgoeous. One is a nude with a hint of pink and the other is a peachy orange that looks fabulous with a tan. I loved the consistency of the product and the way it went on. Some lipglosses get all mucky on me but this one stayed on nice. What I hated the most about it was that you need CONSTANT re-application. Also, the package is very cute but deceiving....when you take the lid off it looks like you get a good half an inch of product but you really only get a smidge. Loved the colors but would not buy it again.

I purchased Hong Kong (shimmery sheer red/neutral beige). The colors are lovely but they didn't last very long on my lips. I had to constantly reapply all day, which was inconvenient since it does not come with an applicator. And when I used my fingers, I had to find something to wipe them off. I ended up giving the gloss away since I knew I wouldn't use it.

I really like the Cargo gloss duos despite my issues with Cargo packaging. They truly *are* different from other glosses like Lipglass (which I like for different reasons). The Cargos are good for moisturization and a shiny slip of color or as a liner boost. I haven't found anything cheaper that I like as much for these two purposes. They aren't heavy hitters in the texture department and they do indeed require frequent reapplication, neither of which bugs me when the mood strikes.

Walla Walla (deep sheer purpley plum/sheer shimmery plum-leaning pink) was my first; I've since acquired Hong Kong (sheer red/very sheer nude), Pago Pago (bright raspberry/tangerine) and Turra Murra (shimmery sheer wine/bordeaux). I'm a NW20-25 w/ brown eyes and hair and I adore them all.

I've written to Cargo about the sticky lids (though the Turra Murra doesn't have this problem). The only thing I've found that works is prying with a letter opener, which leaves little flanges around the edges of the compact. I don't think I should have to pry open a $19 lipgloss. (Yikes! These were $15 when I bought my first one in 2002.)

It's been mentioned, but I'll reiterate: these tins may look like they contain an overly generous amount of product, but in reality, we're talking about a large round tin fitted with a two-compartment plastic riser/shelf that holds two flat-but-wide tins of gloss. (I've dissected the packaging.) Don't believe for a minute that the gloss goes to the bottom of the metal tin. It doesn't, and that's galling. You'll reach pan sooner than you think; I've reached pan on 3 of my 4 duos and I don't use these all that often!

However, that said, I love the actual gloss product and will always at least try out new shades when they debut.

Great colors and a good amount of product, but this is one cheap quality gloss! It;s liek putting pure petrolium jelly on the lips! Super slippery and greasy w/ zero staying power and zero stickiness or tackiness for staying power. All Cargo did was take vaseline and ass color. What a joke for sometign so expensive. That's how these cosmetics companies get you though. They know you'll buy it anyhow simply because of the label and then they can give you crap products at outrageous prices.

pretty colours and very light lip gloss. its good but it just doesnt last long so you have to reapply and the tin design is cute but not practical (very big as well). the colors are great though and you can mix and create the kind of color or impact you want

This is the truth about this lip product... I have used everything. Anything from lip glass to juicy tubes and every other gloss on the face of this earth and am simply IMPRESSED with this one! Don't get me wrong, I adore MAC and Lancome, (and Chanel and Keil's and Burt's Bee's and Prada's monodoses and all that,) but I have the most sensitive lips EVER! I work in cosmetics and would not recommend my own line for lip care, Cargo is all that I use. Now, there are a few bases to touch here; "The tin doesn't open." The only reason it does this is because it's a Cargo tin. Simple as that. If anyone's used Cargo at ALL; it's hit and miss with their tins (but gosh they're too cute!) Just get them from Sephora and ask for 2 empty sample jars and convert the product into that. The colors flatter every skin tone. They take the actual shade of your lips and enhance them; no questions asked. Some people don't like the consistency.. are you kidding? This is the smoothest, lightest lipgloss ever! That's the beauty of it, you don't have to know it's there! My favorite is when people say this product doesn't last. They make Over/Under SPECIFICALLY for people like us that TALK/CHEW/LAUGH. This is a base/gloss and it's absolutely incredible! It completely primes under and seals over. It's a miracle worker. This stuff doesn't smell or taste. Depending on how you use it, it's moisturizing, matte, sparkly, glossy or satin. Carry a lipbrush with you, it ensures quality application. Above all, $17 is absolutely nothing. I swear to you I have every SINGLE shade and it cost less than $200. When I find something that I like, I will buy it in every color. Which kinda makes me wish I found out about Cargo before I found out about Juicy tubes.
