This was recommended to me by a gay friend of mine. I liked it at first and I mean first spray. It's not bad. But I did not want to use it again. So I sold it. It's musky for me and I don't like musky scents. I like fresh and clean scents.

I had the body splash and the lotion, and if you use the moisturizer before the body splash, the scent really adheres to your body and stays on for a fairly long time-- especially for something as light as a body splash!

In terms of scent, I like it-- it smells flowery and girly, but I wouldn't say it smells like cherry blossoms!

I was skeptical about scent when I first heard the name. I soon realized that I was too quick to judge as it is now my #1 scent from BBW. When I got my bf to come with me to the store to test it he was thought it was only okay. I bought it anyways and wore it a week later and he commented on how good I smelled. It's important for me that my bf likes a fragrance so that was a definite plus in my books. I also purchased the lotion and another body splash spray. I'm looking forward to trying out the hand cream and body butter as well.

I LOVE this spray. It's great for fall/winter. It's so warm and inviting...I always get compliments when I wear this..especially from guys! It can be really, really strong and give you a headache if you use too much of it..but if you use just a little bit it smells amazing.


But..does anyone else think that the spray smells different now? I still have my spray that came in the old style of bottles from Bath and Body Works. Ever since they got their new shaped bottles and EDTs, this scent just doesn't smell as good..it smells a lot more strong and perfumey. Anyone else notice this? =(

IN HEAVEN! I absolutely LOVE this fragrance....so much so...that I travelled all the way from Ajax ontario...to Buffalo New York just to get this..and the body cream...and the hand lotion AND the body wash.

and now we finally the store in canada...YAAAY!

It smells absolutely divine. Im not sure how to describe the fragrance...but all i can say is its SEXY...and all the girls asked me about it so they could run out and buy it.

This doesn't smell anything like cherry blossom. If you've been to Japan around the springtime you've had some cherry blossom flavored tea and sweets. This smells nothing like that. It's very strong...this spray actually smells like a men's fragrance to me. Much too "harsh". It gives me a headache, too. A bad one.

Love this scent! It's one of my favorites from Bath & Body Works. I like all the cherry blossom scents they have including blushing cherry blossom which i have been using for the spring.
Japanese cherry blossom is probly my most bought scent from b&bw ever

Well i liked the smell of the body cream and the hand soap. I got this for free with a coupon. But the splash itself smells so powdery strong somehow in a kinda *old lady* scent. so i ended up gave it to my grandma.

I have the body splash and body lotion in this scent. They smell identical to each other. I am happy that the body splash is not overly alcoholy when sprayed. I use this body splash as a regular perfume because it lasts a while, on me at least. The scent is soft with spice, fruit, wood, and a hint of powder. I don't find the wood notes sour or harsh, nor do I think it's overly powdery. In fact, I think this fragrance is so well blended that there isn't one particular aspect that screams out to me as the star. It's a nice blend of all the notes, each one radiating its voice no louder or softer than the others. I enjoy the journey this scent takes throughout the day, noticing different notes at different times.
This is not what I would consider flirty, fun, girly, playful etc. I think of this as a womanly scent, something that has the potential to have incredible sex appeal but that it all depends on the attitude of the wearer. I love the older packaging with the red foil looking label with the black and white image of the cherry blossom branches and the matte black cap. The new packaging doesn't have the same appeal for me.
EDIT: Two days ago I was just shlepping around town and at one point a guy who was walking behind me said, "You smell REALLY good!" This has never happened to me before so I was tickled... and kind of baffled since I had only put on two spritzes of the splash before leaving the house :)

I can't believe I used to hate this scent a few years ago. This has to be one of the most unique, yet comforting smells I've ever seen at BBW. It's also a very beautiful scent too. Perfect for the cooler months, but honestly...I think this particular scent can be used at any time of the year. Most people I know love this scent, and I really recommend it, so go out and sniff it if you haven't already!

This scent is very unique and i LOVE it! It has almost a calming effect to it which is nice. If you like this scent, go look at all the other products they make in Japanese cherry Blossom, i think my next purchase will be the body butter. mmmm

I love Japanese Cherry Blossom. This is a sexy, sophisticated, scent that smells as if it cost $300 an ounce, when in actuality I paid $5 for the body splash. Bath and Body Works has really stepped their game up with this one.

I love this scent! It's definitely one of my favorites at BBW. While it's not subtle, the scent is also not overpowering. I highly recommend this as an evening scent as it suits evening outings better than work or school.

This is my 2nd favorite from BBW. It's such a beautiful smelling scent. My husband smelled it the other day, and he really seemed to like it, which is good, because he's sort of picky when it comes to what scent I wear. I don't know how to describe this scent other than the fact that it is just a beautiful scent. I find myself always wanting to spray myself with this. I know I said it's my 2nd favorite, but it could easily be a tie between BRV, and that one is my HG, so yeah...I'd definately repurchase. UPDATE: I just took this back to the store yesterday. The bath products and lotions gave me a bad rash, so unfortunately I won't be using any of these products in this scent ever again. :(

I absolutely love this scent. I do find it doesn't stay on that long, but I have tried the perfume, which does stay on longer. The bottle has changed since it first came out as well, and I like the new one more than the old. It's cute. I bought two bottles, one stays at my apartment and the other i my purse. I completely get why this scent is so popular!

I received a basket for Christmas.
I love this smell. It is beautiful. I have the body lotion, the hand sanitizer, the hand lotion, a room candle, body spray, shower liquid soap and body lotion. It has a fruity musky smell. Hard to really explain it except it goes so nicely together. I never thought I would like it when I first smelled it after opening it. But using it in the shower and later refreshing with the spray, it really works great with my body chemistry.

other perfumes that work well with my body type.. are Tre'Sor, Chanel #5 and Beautiful by Estee Lauder
