After rading reviews on this product, I thought I try it! After all, the price was pretty cheap!

However, it didn't give me the result I wanted or was expecting. It didin't cover my imperfections and they're little aswell! It doesn't last all day, you have to apply it a couple times and it was WAYYY TO SHINY! And I have Dry Skin!

The only good thing about it was, that it gave you a glow, but it wasn;t great!

Ive stopped using this and i'm not buying it again, cuz it doesnt work for me at all!

I have to say I hate this foundation with a passion. None of the colours match my skin or blend properly. The scent is nice but not for a foundation. All it does is raise any imperfections on my skin and doesn't provide any coverage no matter how much I put on or how much I blend or how I apply it. It was a waste of money for me, being about £6-£7. It must work on other people's skin looking at the other reviews - which is probably the only plus side. But for me, it was awful. The consistency was all thin and it didnt last 5 minutes. Thank god I only tried it at home.

My sisters always use this foundation so I decided to give it a try. I have fair skin with warm/yellow undertones and even though I am light my skin is not that light compared to other fair skinned people. My sisters use 'True Ivory' and they are both really pale, and for some reason this colour suited me too (although I did not try any of the other shades). I was looking for a new foundation mainly because my Revlon Colorstay in 'Nude' began to look kind of orange on me. I'm not sure if it is because I am applying too much or maybe my skin is just getting a lot lighter? Anyways I am really paranoid about having orange skin and I do not want to look like an Oompa Loompa while I'm outside. This foundation is very smooth and very blendable. I have a few small blemishes here and there as well as acne scarring. Nothing can fix actual scarring but this foundation does not make them look super obvious. The smell is also great and the foundation lasts all day. This foundation makes my skin look like porcelain and definitely not orange in the daylight. What I did find made my skin orange is if I were to apply too much of this foundation on the area where my acne scarring is. I guess piling it on is not a good idea. I don't think this has heavy coverage at all (compared to my Natural FX when I'm going out or even Revlon Colorstay). I think it has medium coverage. Just a little bit on and you'd have a sheer look but as you pile more and more it would obviously get heavier. Even when I have applied a lot of this on, other than having the orangeness on my scarring, it doesn't look cakey or mask like. I also did not notice ANY glitter in this so I'm unsure what others were talking about. I lost the lid of this foundation and even though the bottle is almost empty, the foundation is still leaking out and it made a mess in my makeup bag. I guess that is my own fault though. What I also like about this foundation is that it washes off easily. When I use Revlon Colorstay I could still see the foundation on my skin and acne scars even after I have washed my face. With Colorstay I literally have to scrub my skin like crazy to get the foundation off and there is STILL some left over.

The lightest shade it comes in (ivory) is still pretty dark, but it's really smooth to put on, about medium coverage, manages to not look cakey no matter how much you put on, and I didn't even notice the glitter in it until I read other reviews on it. It smells like the beach to me ! The only thing is that I noticed if you want more coverage, and you try to put more on, it looks really greasy, nothing some pressed powder can't fix, but still.

I'm beginning to really despise Rimmel! Especially their foundations and nail polish; the only things I love by Rimmel is the eyebrow pencils and eye shadows.

Okay, this product was too dark (ivory) and what's with the overload of glitter? It smelled okay, the consistency wasn't all that bad. I looked orange and I officially despise Rimmel. :) Maybelline all the way!

I love this foundation! I bought it in True Ivory, even though I think I should use a lighter shade (it was on clearance and that was the closest shade they had to my skin color, haha). I have disliked most of the drugstore foundations I've used, but this one is great! the bottle design makes it easy to squirt out whatever amount of product you need, and it's light and sheer and blends very well! plus it makes me glow! this is the only non-mineral foundation I've kept!

UPDATE 11/27/09: ok so I lowered this to four lippies, because my skin has gotten oilier, possibly to a change in my skin care regimen. this appears to come off on oily skin. I do use powder to set it, but I feel like I still need to reapply. hmm

I bought this for the absolute worst reason in the world. In the magazine ad Kate moss has the translucent glowing skin I'm always trying to acheive. Worst idea ever. Turns out no matter what I do I won't look like Kate Moss. Anyway it was much thicker and more matte than a makeup for "glowing" skin should be (I usually look for the really glowy kind thats hard to find, like revlon skinlights). I didn't notice any big chunks of glitter that everyone keeps talking about though. Anyway it didn't make me glow at all and the colour was off. The colour selection sucked so anyone who doesn't have just average skin tone probably wouldn't be able to find a match. Oh and it smells great but foundations really shouldn't smell like much of anything, it must be heavily fragranced so probably not good for anyone with sensitive skin. All in all it did NOT make me glow, the coverage was nothing special and the colour sucked (it had a weird undertone to it). I won't repurchase.
UPDATE: also settles into my pores, doesn't blend well and looks all around super fake.

My sister gave this too me as it was too sheer for her. I prefer to wear tinted moisturiser (although my skin is tanned now after travelling for a year so I don't wear anything now).
Anyway, it was in shade 200, Soft Beige.
I thought I would love this product as I love a dewy look, but unfortuantely it failed to deliver the look I was after. Instead it left a more velvety finish on my skin with "bits", not sure what they were.
Anyway, I would not buy this again, but I think perhaps the shade might have been to light for my skintone anyway.
Also, it made my skin look older rather than younger.

I like this foundation, although it does go on pretty sheer and normally I would like more coverage. It does have glitter in it too, I guess it's supposed to make you look more awake, or so thats the idea they had going for it, maybe. I have this in true ivory, it seems to be the right colour for me.

I got this on clearance @ target for $1.62, so can't compain about the price at all!

I'm *very* finicky about foundations. Even though I have relatively clear and smooth skin, for some reason when I wear the wrong foundation, it adheres to flakes I didn't even know I had! This foundation doesn't do that at all. The blendability is a dream! I just blob some on a damp foundation sponge, and blend blend blend. You can't even tell I have it on my face, but it does blur our imperfections and gives an even tone to skin. I definitely need a concealer for undereyes and if I have a blemish, but I like wearing a sheerer foundation on my overall skin for a natural look.

This would be the perfect foundation for someone w/ normal-dry or combination skin that already has decent skin, but maybe with uneven tone. For some odd reason, I didn't notice any sparkles that anyone is talking about, but I always top this with loose or pressed powder.

I bought this product during the summer when my skin was darker than usual. I used it a few times and was dissapointed. It made my skin look like I had caked on the foundation.. GROSS and when I put it I saw that it was sparkly which is kind of weird for a foundation. I would not buy again

I used to only use Lancome foundations like MaquiLibre and Photogenic as I don't like heavy foundations and want to look as natural as possible. I also believed that you had to pay for good quality products especially for your face. However, a downshift in job meant that I couldn't afford Lancome anymore and after a lot of dithering I decided to try Rimmel Recover. I was amazed - it really blended with my own skin tone and adapted well to when I caught a bit of sun (well wearing self tan!) or was more pale. It looks so natural too but hides most imperfections. I still need a concealer for spots but don't we all!

Thanks to a lovely mummy, I now have a new Lancome but still use Recover now and then,

I think calling this a foundation is a bit much - it really only has the coverage of a tinted moisturiser, and enough glitter to make your own disco ball! That said, I like it for various reasons.

Like another reviewer mentioned, I like to use this as a highlighter mixed in with a more matte foundation. I have it in transluscent which is great for when I have on fake tan, probably too dark otherwise though.

For a younger woman this would be a fun, cheap and easy choice for a foundation - for a thirtysomething like me I have to be careful with the glitterball effect, which is great for a night out but can be overkill in my opinion during the day.

What I loved about this the most though is the blendability factor - lately drugstore foundations just seem to sit on top of my face and adhere to any imperfections/fine hairs, etc. This stuff just blends in effortlessly and looks natural, aside from the sparkling effect that is! It does make you shiny which for comination/oily skin is not ideal but a bit of powder on top and you have a nice dewy glow still with this stuff.

So it's definitely not an everyday foundation in my opinion, but great as a tinted moisturiser/glow giver for nights out, and a bargain in my opinion for the quality of finish you get.

I'm in two minds about this. I love the way it makes my skin look and feel - even tone, and at the same time really natural and dewy. As far as coverage goes though it didn't do the job at all, it's just too sheer. Not unreasonably priced, smells nice and ivory 100 matches my skin perfectly, but like I said, the coverage. It's a shame, because other than that I'd adore this.

This product works for some and doesn't for others. My skin, sadly enough, was not one of the survivors of this experiment! After a few uses, I would always find that my skin got a new pimple or two underneath it. Sure, foundation was used to cover up the flaws (with concealer of course), but was it worth it to keep using it to prevent the disgusting look when it was the one that caused them???
I figured that it clogged my pores because I looked all over the bottle and it never mentioned anything that said "doesn't clog pores".
I don't really care for the smell, it's sort of a mix of a sugary and floral scent. I don't really know about the anti-fatigue because that never really helped my skin from getting tired.
THE WORST THING: it made my skin feel really cakey. Like there was a whole other layer on my skin. Makeup should be able to be a part of your skin (well GOOD makeup that is), not cover it all up. Whenever it was a humid day, gosh those were the time I couldn't stop sweating, and the foundation didn't really help get that 'breathing' feel to my skin. Oh well, I guess I should go for a powder that helps my acne-prone skin, instead of going against it.

I liked this product at first but after about 2 weeks using it I noticed my skin had gotten redder and seemed irritated by the sparklies and fragrance, it made my eyes water when i applied it sometimes lol.I wouldnt suggest this if you are sensitive..i found the lightest shade was still way to dark and too 'warm' orangy of a shade for me, (I'm a cool skin tone with pink) and if i didnt take care in applying it, it would look too heavy and thick....Overall and ok product, just not for me.
