Great product! I have tried this both in medium and light, and find that both work well with my complexion. I am M60 in powder and liquid, M70 in cream. I apply it with a brush and just pat it on the areas that look shiny. I don't really know what else to say about this powder except that it does its job well.

Great product for Cover FX. I'm between NC25 and 30, and I find Light works quite well. It keeps me matte without caking up, and it's very sheer, so it really just takes away my greasiness without adding on any more color. It performs as well as my beloved MAC Blot.

i like this powder b/c it doesnt build up in color. it makes my face matte for a few hrs and after i begin to shine! lol
overall it is a good powder, i'm probably going to try the maybelline matte powder..
**I've tried the maybelline matte powder and it works way better than the matte fx and it's a lot more cheaper...
matte fx is garbage

This is a great product for creating a soft matte look. The powder is superfine and doesn't look cakey. This is perfect for my mid-day oil slick. As another reviewer mentioned, it doesn't smell funny either. I hate that strange perfumey smell of some powders, but this one just does its job well and leaves my skin with a natural, soft glow (sort of transparent, but buildable if needed). I bought the kubuki brush along with it and the two work together like a charm. Definitely a 'must have' for oily skin that needs touch ups on the go.

really does control oil, however it does sink into my pores but i can overlook that because it really does keep oil at bay well longer than most powders anyway. Maybe not quite my HG but very close, still on the search but this is good for now. EDIT: I completely stopped using this product because I think it caused me to break out, so acne prone people beware

This pressed powder is better at controlling oily shine than any other I've tried so far. Very pleased with it.

i like it. it works. I bought this in light and im a nc25. It doesn't cake and it absorb oils right away. It feels light weight..not heavy powder at all. Great for sensitive and oily combo skin.

*UPDATE* i just drop 5 to 4 lippies. i love the first one i used...but i continued on to the 2nd and 3rd and it's NOT the same..! the powder is drier and not as smooth. Maybe they need to make new ones! ... im using MAC BLOT IN MED/DARK for now

Yet another amazing product from Cover Fx. This stuff works better at absorbing and controlling oil that MAC blotting powder. No matter how many times you reapply, it doesn't build-up, look cakey or chalky. It's about $25 Canadian, which isn't bad considering Revlon is almost as expensive. This is a fixture in my purse.

This stuff is amazing. It covers imperfections great and does not leave that powdery cakey look. Not bad for $20.00 CDN. And best part of all, it is great for sensitive skin. I had previously used Revlon Softflext Pressed Powder and gave it away as it broke me out. But for now I will use the Cover FX. I am thinking of getting the liquid foundation or the Mineral Powder foundation

This is an absolutely fantastic product made to be used in conjunction with the Cover FX fondations. It keeps my incredibly oily skin in check, it doesn't smell funny, it lasts a really, really long time, it sets the foundation perfectly, does not make me break out (where everything else has). It also doesn't make any dry skin stand out like other Matte powders and it doesn't cake up because it's really fine and you don't need to apply all day long.

A friend recommended this brand when I mentioned how her face glowed...but didn't look like she had makeup caked all over it. This pressed matte powder
is made with corn starch and silica microsponges, it absorb excess oil and sebum continuously throughout the day, while reducing oil and achieving a matte shine-free complexion.
Web Site says it is for : Combination to oily skin types for eliminating
excess shine and absorbing excess oil.
It is oil free, fragrance free and formulated with non comedogenic ingredients
Offers minimal pigment deposit therefore allowing application as often as required without building colour.
May be applied over foundation or on it's own
It is a mineral based powder. Minerals are inert and therefore do not support bacterial growth. Bacteria may cause blemishes.
Contains Dermafix Technology - a revolutionary technology that binds the product onto the skin
Contains Vitamin E that soothes and promotes tissue repair.

I used it alone and it really helps with my oily cheeks. The container is about $20.00 Canadian...but last a very long time. This is become a HG product for me ... I only wish they had more shades...I am using medium right now...
but in the winter I may need to change to light (which might be too light)
