Okay, so I'm revising my rating on this colour.
This is NOT a colour to buy if you are a newbie at giving yourself a manicure. It will come out streaky and uneven. This polish takes practice, so if you're experienced at applying nail polish you can make it work. If you're not experienced, take it to the nail salon.
The key to this colour is to apply a THIN first coat (it will look streaky and gross). Then apply a second THICK coat. It will go on evenly, and the colour is actually quite nice. Finish with Seche Vite top coat (the infamous one on here). It will somehow nicely even out the streakiness with the thick coat.

Streaks, sheer, hard to apply. Color is true to bottle but takes more than 2 coats to get full opacity. This actually works better with a white base, for me at least, so I used SH in White On, but the color still streaks..I as well did not think to look at reviews because I trust OPI so much. The color is pretty, although I think after a few wears I'd get sick of it. Pretty for toes and summer maybe, but that's about it.

You have to apply at least 3 coats to make this look even half decent. The application is horribly streaky and the colour looks really unflattering on my skin. I bought this hearing that it was a dupe for MAC'S Peppermint Patti, but it's no where even close. My best bet was to buy Hey Get in Lime.

I love this color. I was looking for a pale apple green and didn't think twice about purchasing this when I saw it! It goes on pretty sheer but unlike my very sheer opi for sephora IM Beauty, it only takes 2 or 3 coats to become opaque. I LOVE bright colors and love this polish! Will definitely buy again when I run out.

I've never written a review for a nail polish before because I thought most of them were pretty much the same quality (at least OPI). But this one shocked me! It looks deceptively pretty in the bottle, but it is sooo sheer and streaky when applied that it is absolutely necessary to apply AT LEAST 3 coats! I never apply more than one or two coats usually when I paint my nails so this is a real pain. :-/
For the price, this product is ridiculous, what was OPI thinking? I have $2 polishes that are better!
EDIT:
well, I have to give this another lippie because this polish stays on so well, better than any other I've tried. At least OPI got something right with this formula! I've been house cleaning, cooking, washing dishes, etc for 4 days and it hasn't even chipped!

first off let me say I love this color, but it is just too much work. you have to put on at least 3 coats to get the color from the bottle and maybe one more to get no streaks. the brush is nice and big, but to pay $8.50 for a nail polish and have to use so much of it to get the color in the bottle is not worth it. I like the color so much i might repurchase if i dont find a dupe, ill just have to reserve doing my nails with this color for nights i have nothing to do!

It is my favorite nail polish ever. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the color. I have 3 of the OPI matte line polishes and i love them. I recommend that everyone try at least one. The one bad thing i have to say about them is that they chip quickly. I was told that i'm not suppose to use a base but if i dont they chip the next day. However when i use a base it goes 3 or 4 days without chipping. But i do a lot of hands on activities at work, home and school so my nail polish is usually chipping by day 3. I find though if you layer it (base, polish, top coat, and then another coat of polish) it will stay on for an extra day or two and u can still have the matte look. But regardless of all that i still love it and am going to go and buy another bottle and the rest of the collection

I personally love this colour. When I first tried it I didn't really like it but have recently tried it again and thought it was really cool. I wouldn't call it a lime green, I would describe it as a light pastel green. It does take 3 quite thick coats to get this even but I haven't had any problems with the application. I like the fact that it is a bit different from other colours.

I Brought this colour the other day for $20(AUS) thinkin it was going to be similar to Peppermint Patti from MAC and it WASNT!!
i love the colour but its more lime then a peppermint and has no blue undertone. i like that it still looks pastel but HATE the application. u need like 4 coats to get the true colour.i always get compliments when i wear it but i dont think id buy it again.

I rarely hate a product so much that I'll do a review to warn people away, but Gargantuan Green Grape is awful! The application was horrible- it remained thin and streaky even after 3 coats. The color is unusual- it's a white toned yellow-green color, and it looks good on my NC40-42 skin tone, but the application was so bad I'll never wear it again.

I really liked this in the bottle, but the first time I used it, I used two coats and it was streaking and not nice looking. Then I tried it again with a white base and two coats and it looked better, but I'm still not totally sold on it. I'm not sure it meshes with my skin tone.

Wow, I love this color! Its a beautiful cute light lime/honeydew green! The application was great. Not streaky at all like the reviews below, maybe everyone got bad bottles? I don't know why this product got such bad reviews! For me, this color was true to bottle shade after 3 coats (which is normally how many coats it takes for any of my polishes)... and it dries quickly, and I had no chips for a few days (only a little of the index finger tips were sorta wearing). Overall, I LOVED this polish and would buy it again and again!

I'm very surprised that no one has mentioned that this colour streaks like MAD. Okay in the bottle it looks like a nice pastel apple green, but it comes out more of a bright almost neon yellow green. The streaking on this colour is crazy! It takes so many coats to make it look even. Definitely will not buy this again. Only reason I'm keeping it is because my SO likes the colour.

Of course very pricey. I paid full price at Pure Beauty $8.50. The color is a light green creme color. When I first put it on it was very sheer, nothing like the bottle color. You have to apply a few coats for the true color to show up. That is the only thing a hated. So many coats=fingerprints and mess ups. However, I liked the staying power of it. I handle so many things at work and it did not chip at all until a few days later.

This is such a pretty lime green in the bottle. But it needs about 3 coats to look like that, and by that time the polish is too thick it'll chip or not dry fast enough I'll mess it up before I finish.

This is a fun color. I'd say it's a lighter lime green color or maybe the color of cartoon radioactive waste. Slightly more yellow toned and almost pastel. (Whereas Hey get in lime is a bluer toned light pastely green) First coat goes on pretty sheer and I got good bottle color results with three coats, the last one being kinda thicker.
Sadly when I bought this color it was the last of it's kind and I had to settle for the one with the messed up brush, like three bristles sticking out everywhich way. makes it hard to get nice unstreaky coats. But somehow it dried smooth, I don't know if it was the formula or just my eyes deceiving me.

I love this color!! It's the color of green apple taffy! I have light to medium olive skin, so the green was a great match for my hands. I have not put it on my feet yet, but I am positive it'll look great there, too. The color goes on nice and evenly, no streaking. You will need probably 3-4 coats to get it to look like the bottle. I also bought the Electric Eel color which can be put over this to add a little shimmer.

This bright is an interesting shade. After reading the MUA reviews I thought it would be perfect for me. Unfortunately, on my pale skin, this is not a grape/apple green at all. It is far too yellow a green for that. On me it is a green-tinged yellow, and quite hideous. I was expecting a fresh shade, not this jaundice inspired acidic nightmare. Its also really sheer, but more pigmented than some brights. I would not repurchase and I am incredibly disappointed.

I really squeeled when my Ebay package came in! This is like what others have said - a taffy/apple green. Since I like wearing neons and really loud Halloweenish type colors, this is definitely one I will repurchase and tuck away until I need my backup. I like this a lot better than the green that NYC has, because there is no shimmer and you can modify the color however you'd like. I've worn this with Paris Couture on tips, Fireflies, and Significant Other Color for my Poison Ivy costume (since my heels were the same shade as three coats of significant other color)!
