This scrub is great for sensitive. I really like how it's all natural and in a really hygienic container. However, I don't have sensitive skin and it didn't really seem to be doing that much for my skin. I felt like I could get better exfoliation from other products even though I know this is probably better for my skin since it's so natural. Also it's really pricey.

All I can say is I LOVE LOVE LOVE this scrub. From the way it smells,to how it's packaged, to how it leaves my skin. It's gentle not harsh like those other scrubs that have harsh crushed walnut seeds or ingredients that will tear up your skin. I love how it leaves my skin feeling so exfoliated so my moisturizer just sinks in. My m/u goes on so smoothly the next day. It has a creamy texture a little goes a long way and it's a real treat to use it. I say if you're looking for something w/results that isn't harsh on your skin I say try this. BTW call the Barney's in Frisco and ask for Diana she's the SA that'll supply you w/samples or help you out in choosing the right products whether it be from the Joisie Maran line (which she works for) or skin care.

After reading the rave reviews I'm shocked that I don't love this. Unfortunately it just doesn't do much for my skin. I find it a bit too irritating and don't feel that it smooths my skin or refines my pores the way other exfoliants have. My most recent favorite was Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant; I stopped using it for a bit as I had to order it online and decided I'd rather use something I can easily find. I haven't been as impressed with Ren as I thought I'd be- this is going back to Sephora.

Love, love, love. This is my absolute HG exfoliating product, and even using this nearly daily doesn't irritate my skin (I'm on Tazorac). Beautiful packaging, and a pleasure to use!

I am truly impressed with this product. I have oily acne prone skin and was looking for something that would get rid of the little rough patches that show up under foundation with even the best of primers. I've tried quite a few scrubs and although they do a good job of taking the dead skin off, to my horror more than half of them broke me out! The other half merely irritated my skin and left it hyper sensitive. I kept seeing the rave reviews for this but had never heard of this company and the cost seemed rather high. Considering how often I shop at Sephora I felt like a goober when I realized they carry the Ren line there but I had never noticed before! Everywhere else I looked that carried Ren did not allow returns so I was thrilled to see that Sephora carried it (love Sephora's liberal return policy).



First of all this comes in a lovely pump that works beautifully and allows you to dispense a little or a lot (I like to use more than most people probably do and give myself an extra luxurious scrub). Even with using a healthy pump full everyday this stuff has lasted me nearly two months so than the price doesn't seem as painful when you look at it that way. I can't begin to describe just how lovely this stuff smells and feels on your skin. What's so strange is that it's so gentle that you almost feel like it's not doing anything. I was thinking I would probably have to return it in a week because it can't be doing much but I was totally wrong! I don't know how this stuff does what it does but it has actually helped clear up my acne! All I was seeking was something that helped to clear away the dry patches and leave my skin smoother for foundation but this has cleared my skin and truly refined it's appearance! It feels silky smooth and leaves my face feeling calm and soothed. I can't believe how much this stuff has helped my skin! I don't know how it does what it does because it feels like you aren't doing much of anything but I am thrilled! Love the tingly clean feeling of this scrub and the microbeads feels so good. It doesn't scratch your skin up like most scrubs and yet it manages to gently remove the dead skin and leave your skin actually repaired when you're all done. I'm on my second bottle! Love this!



EDIT: This product is now obsolete (as are any other scrubs I've tried now that I have the Clarisonic). Trust me, you will no longer need any of this once you take the plunge and buy one of these miraculous units. The Clarisonic runs circles around this. Can't even compare and all you need is a good soap and the Clarisonic and you can get polished, beautiful skin.

This is definitely the best facial scrub I have found to date. It is extremely gentle on the skin and you can feel that the microbeads are 'rounded' and will therefore not damage your skin - I have read that the particles in some scrubs can be rough, but these feel great. The product also rinses off really well leaving no residue, unlike some scrubs I have tried which seem to leave a film. The price may seem high but the bottle is large, so price per ml is reasonable, especially for such an excellent product. Will definitely re-purchase and can recommend to all! Love the fact that it is free of all 'nasties'!
UPDATE: I am still loving this and am now onto my second bottle.

the best part of this product is the feeling of the beads rolling over your face when you apply it. the smell is refreshing and it leaves the skin SO SOFT! i love using the REN F10 enzymatic smooth radiance facial mask after this product. your skin will NEVER feel as smooth. 10/10

This scrub is so wonderful... I've never experienced anything like it. There is a cooling sensation I get from the peppermint and the scent is quite subtle and lovely. The beads feel very cooling and almost.. gel-like? It is very non-abrasive but actually does smooth away the dry patches on my skin. There is no film residue on my face (something I experienced with Clinique's 7 Day Scrub.. yuck) and it does not irritate or dry my skin out. My skin has never felt smoother! I am so impressed with this whole line! I think it is going to take me a while to use this whole bottle but when I do, I am definitely repurchasing!
By the way... I have always had blackheads on my nose since I was in junior high.. this is the ONLY thing that actually gets them out! Not many scrub products can do that! So this is definitely my HG scrub for all time!!

Best scrub ever!! I can really see and feel the difference in my complexion after using this product. Although the scrub is gentle on the skin, don't be deceived; it exfoliates very well and provides a wonderful emollient effect. After all, it does have 'microbead' in the name for a reason..the beads are small but are efficient in removing dead skin and any residue left behind from your cleanser.


It's ideal for all skin types: sensitive, dry, normal, combination, oily..you name it. It's all natural and environmentally friendly, and definitely worth the AU$60 I paid. That's probably US$50+ or so but yes, Ren's scrub is excellent value for money and I find the packaging somewhat fascinating. I've never seen a product's ingredients contained and sealed in plastic but that probably adds onto the factors pertaining to hygiene, freshness and cleanliness.

I should also add that there is a lot of product and it will last you for a year with regular tri-weekly usage.

~*~WOW~*~ I was already a firm believer that my skin could never tolerate any kind of manual scrub and anything with peppermint oil in it. This product has proven me wrong in both cases. This contains peppermint extract and jojoba microbeads in a silky smooth lotion-type cleansing base and is meant to be used 2-3x a week to exfoliate and purify. It's simply the best exfoliating product ~I'm finding that everything I'm trying from Ren is quickly becoming the best ever/HG products I've ever used on my skin :D I love that this gives the skin a cooling feeling as expected from the peppermint - but no drying effects or itching/irritation. My usually sensitive/breakout prone pores are quiescent and happy! Just be sure to rinse several times to get all the microbeads off the skin completely ~they're ultra-fine and plentiful! Simply amazing -- I urge anyone out there who's sensitive to scrubs, to try this out. I guarantee it will be a pleasant surprise and will want you to try other Ren skincare products. This is a fantastic brand for finicky skin that reacts badly to almost everything. Believe the hype. This scrub is unbelievable.-the best I've ever used. Gentle enough for sensitive skin, and my skin has never felt smoother. It's pretty expensive for a scrub, but it seems like it might last awhile, and they'll recycle the package for you, which I like. I'll edit after 3 weeks, but this one definitely looks like a staple.

I really enjoyed this product. I tried to skimp on the amount I used at first..but realized, you really need one full pump for your entire face. The scrub it self is very light in scent and feels a little tingly if you leave it on your skin for a while, but in no way is it harsh.

If you have used Peter Thomas Roth's blue scrub, imagine the beads in that scrub but 1/4 the size. I have tried many scrubs, but this one has to be the most non-abrasive one yet. The jojoba beads are extremely fine and small and might not feel like much when you are using it, but will definetly do the job! I even used this on my acne skin and it gently lifted off my dead skin without irritating my pimples.

Another positive review. I'm absolutely in love with this product. It is the best facial scrub I have ever tried. It really gets working onto your skin leaving it so soft and glowy afterwards. Will buy forever and ever. I just hope (like all good products) they never discontinue this one.

The best scrub yet. Very effective yet doesn't irritate my combo/sensitive skin. Leaves my face clean and soft. It has reduced my blackheads significantly. As you don't need to use a lot, it'll last for long time. Ren makes some very good products.

I'm another person who left Dermalogica (microfoliant) for this product, and I haven't looked back! I have sensitive skin, but this is really gentle, so it doesnt irritate my skin. It isn't messy and quite fuss free to use. I also love the fragrance - really fresh and clean, sort of reminds me of fresh geraniums. I've been using this for a month now, and it hasnt broke me out or caused any irritations, so its definitely a keeper for me.

A great gentle product to use twice a week. Will leave skin feeling clean and soft. It doesn't foam so the skin won't feel tight after use. The scent is subtle too.

I can't remember how long I've used this scrub but the bottles do last a while. The pump bottle is conveinent to use.

This is a lovely scrub which is gentle enough to use regularly (I use it 3 times a week). Used in combination with Ren's cleanser and moisturiser for normal skin, it leaves my skin lovely and smooth. If my sensitive skin can take this, most people's will. I also like the packaging - very little mess. You don't need to use much each time so I have a feeling this will last quite a while.

At first, when I tried this scrub I thought it was yet another miss; it simply felt too gentle to be doing anything. But I was wrong! My skin feels sooooo! soft afterwards, without being irritated. Normally, I don't use scrubs, because I have found them to be more drying and irritating than actually helping, leaving my skin dry and flaky afterwards, so I have mostly stayed faithful to the exfoliating action of glycolic acid. But after discovering this scrub, I have jumped off the acid bandwagon, and instead, I use this baby a couple of times a week, in the shower. I will definitely repurchase.
