Interesting how this product works for different people. In my compact; my lip spackle is a flesh shade; almost perfect for under the eyes. My eye spackle is an off-white. I've had no problem with either one caking, drying out, turning a funny shade on my skin or any of the problems mentioned here. The eye-spackle is similiar to Chanels eye-primer; I use this only on the lids. Honestly, I think you are going to have to use this one and see for yourself. I say it's great; but that's me.

Got this spackle in an eyeshadow kit that had colors that I thought I would like. The spackle is meant to be worn under shadow for better staying power. On QVC,while showing, Laura herself applied it under the eyes of the model as well.I tried that and ended up looking like I had wall spackle even though I only applied sparingly. In the early afternoon I had all the little white chunks of product under my eyes that made me itch.It stayed pretty well under my eyeshadow though, so this is really for that not for circles.
The shadows themselves are alright, nothing special,I have nicer eyeshadow kits than this that cost one third the price.

Well I broke down and ordered this after seeing the QVC program countless times. I tried the eye spackle and a little bit really does go a long way. The first time I used it, I used too much but I think I have the hang of it now. I use it before my eye concealer and I loved it. It kept the color in place and looked very pretty. However, I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE the lip spackle. It was pure pure white and made my lip color a totally different shade...an ugly shade. It also made my lips extremely dry upon contact...however, it did exfoliate all the dead skin off but last time I checked, that's not what it was for. Overall, I'd give the eye spackle a 4 and the lip a 1...0 if I could...so I compromised and gave the whole duo a 3.

It contains half eye primer and half lip primer. It's suppose to help the eyeshadow stay put longer and in its true color. Same goes for the lip primer. If you have fair skin, you can almost use it as an under eye concealer. It doesn't cover the dark circles completly but it does help.
I use it every day under my eye makeup. I've noticed that my lower lid eyeliner or shadow doesn't run like it used to. This is a huge bonus for me. The eye primer really really helps to keep your eye makeup looking fresh all day. I can't say much about the ilp primer because I haven't used it. I don't wear lipsticks. I use gloss. But if it works as well as the eye primer, I'm sure it will work great.

I knew I shouldn't fooled by infomercial! I was looking for a new eyeshadow 'base' since my Clinique base was almost gone. So I thought I give this one a try (the idea of eye & lip spackle in one pot also trigged me). The eye spackle is not bad, but the lip spackle is terrible! Makes my lips dry, and the color of my lipstick is toned down as well as all matte! Just wished I returned this before the 30 days limit but I didn't act fast enough. (sigh)

I love the eye spackle, but did not like the lip spackle. It left my lips extremely dry and flaky. I wish the eye spackle was packaged separately! It is great for fixing discoloration on the eyelid and did not irritate my very sensitive eye area.

This is a great kit containing primer for your lips and a separate primer for your eyelids. You have to be careful to use only a little bit, but it makes a big difference in how makeup goes on and stays on. I like that the eye spackle also can be used under the eyes. Be careful, the eye spackle is very dry, so if you want to use it under your eyes, you will need to use some kind of moisturizer, i use the regular laura geller spackle. Alos, it helps if you pat this on instead of trying to rub it in.

A very nice product for the eye area. I use just a VERY small amount on my lids and under my lids and my eyemake-up goes on smoother with more color pay off. The lip spackle is as well. Helps colors go on truer. I like the eye spackle part of the product better. It really does brighten my eye area and keep my shadow on longer. This is a product I will repurchase. A little goes a looooong way!

I love this stuff! The thing I have discovered lately is that I had been using too "thick" a layer of the eye spackle. It only takes a VERY thin layer. Use your ring finger and just tap it in the eye formula once or twice and then really blend it well. You can add an extra "tap" if you don't think you got enough in a certain area. Then what I do after I've blended it well, is dust a light dusting of BE's bisque on with one of the larger brushes, don't use a small brush and do it like a layer of eyeshadow; a "dusting" works best. Then I also follow with a light layer of BE's soft focus PURE as a very light base and I'm ready to begin with my colors. It sounds like alot of time, but it really isn't and my shadows stay on really well. I have deep set eyes and I find that my shadows don't crease if I follow this routine. As for the lip formula, I like it pretty well. Just make sure that your lips are smooth and free from any dry bits of "chap" before you apply this. You only need a small amount of this as well, so the compact really will last a long while.EXTRA TIP--use just a small amount of lip balm before putting on the lip spackle and it will go on much smoother and still work great!! UPDATE 10/10/08--I still love this. I find this works better for Mac pigments than the UDPP because it's more of a "cream". I also like that it give me a whitish canvas rather than my plain eyelid color, which alot of people don't like. I even mixed this with Painterly paint pot and liked that too--a swipe of each on the finger, and yes it was a bit messy but it gave "texture" to my shadows.. The pigments stick better with a cream. I know the UDPP makes the colors truly vibrant but they tend to "grab" and not blend as well with the UDPP and I find they don't with this. I also think lots of people are using too thick of a layer of it. Use just a swipe or two and really blend it. It does take an extra minute to get it smooth and perfect but worth it to me. And my shadow does not crease one single bit. If I happen to get too much, like I used to, you might find some creasing. Also, make sure your eyelids are very clean--i think sometimes people forget to go over their eyes in the morning when they wash their face and they are still oily from sleeping.........

I ordered this from QVC and I absolutely love it! The eye
spackle keeps my eyeshadow on all day and doesn't crease and the lip spackle really keeps my lip color true. It doesn't fade and wear off like it used to. It really is worth it to get this product!

What a disappointment for me. I bought the EYE/LIP Spackle after watching the demo on QVC.com It looked really good but ALAS, the eye spackle is slightly too WHITE looking on me and it does creased after 2 hours (due to my oily lids). As for the lip spackle, it does not smooth or fill in the lip as I have hoped for (think I could achieve the same effect with concerlers/foundations) I am in the process of returning this
