I really wanted to like this cleansing milk - it was drying and left my face with flakes, it would work for less sensitive oilier skintypes, but not for me. The package is nice though. Albolene cleansing cream that comes in a jar does a far better job in removing powder and dirt without drying out my skin.

I love this stuff. It is perfect for every season except summer (when my skin plays up with the humidity). I wash it off as it would be too creamy for my skin otherwise. It leaves my skin soft and hydrated.

This cleanser is targeted for sensitive or dry skin. It should labeled as sensitive AND dry skin. Although it said it is washable, but it is actually leaving a film on my skin which becomes a problem for my combo skin. It is moisturizing but that's two much for my skin type. Give me clogged pores eventually.

I use this more in the winter when my combo skin is a little more dry. Does a great job of cleansing without drying or making me breakout.

Nothing special about it. i got it as a sample...it does not irritate my skin but it is not strong enough to clean off all impurities (e.g. make up). I'm combo skin and i'm enjoying my nivea combo cleaner that costs only $6!!

Let me start off by telling you all my skin type. I am very oily, spot prone (basically acne prone but just sounds nicer!). It is also very difficult for me to find a cleanser because surfacants/sulfates break me out. Well good new for me because this cleanser does not have any foaming ingreidents. It comes in a flip type plastic bottle was around $20 for an 8 oz. bottle I think. You're suppose to apply this cleanser to a dry face and either wash it off or wipe it off. I opted for the washing off method. I have almost finished my bottle, and I have not had one break out from it! Wonderful! It doesn't leave any greasy film or anything behind. But just make sure you rinse it off well. I definitely will repurchase in the future, but I am not sure if I will repurchase it right away because I'm kinda bored with it. Oh yea, this is cleanser is fragrance free if that matters to anyone. I highly recommend this because it is extremely gentle.

i was a cetaphil devotee for as long as i can remember. though, i still think cetaphil is a very gentle cleanser, i just could not stand how it would not thoroughly cleanse my eye makeup. i also discovered that it may have been the culprit of some clogged pores on my nose...which was never terribly noticeable, but was still there.
as a result, i decided to test this kiehl's cleanser out based on MUA's raves. this is an *excellent* alternative to cetaphil. it is gentle,, non-stripping, and actually takes off all my eye makeup. (i don't wear heavy makeup - only eyeshadow and eyeliner. so, if you wear heavy makeup, this might not be as effective.) in addition, this always leaves my normal/dry/sensitive face baby soft and smooth. i will definitely be repurchasing...

Really good cleanser. I have combo skin and anyother products I used would be too harsh and stripped my skin of moisture, but this product is great in that it cleanses and soothes my skin. The only problem I have is the packaging because I would definitely prefer a pump of some sort. Overall it's good and a definite buy again.

I have been using this for a week now, and it's been pretty good! This is the first non-foaming cleanser for me, I had expected a film or oiliness or some residues. I have normal skin that tends to flake a bit. But, I am pleased to report that the cream leaves my skin feeling just very clean and soft. :-) Definately a buy again! Edited to say: Bought my new bottle! Still loving this. Stopped a couple of days to use Chanel Cleansing milk, can't compare to this.

fantastic product. i actually have combination skin, and so i use clean & clear's facial foaming cleanser first and then follow up with kiehls cleansing milk. i thought at first that this product would leave my skin looking shiny and oily, but it actually doesn't. i bought a bottle of this for my friend after i tried using it. highly recommended.

Best cleanser I've found for my dry/sensitive skin! Cetaphil doesn't even compare! I highly recommend this product along with the Creme D'Elegance Repairateur for very dry sensitive skin.

I received a large sample packet of this in a swap and i really love it. It is so gentle and creamy and makes my skin feel super clean with no dryness or tightness. I believe this would be great for dry or sensitive skins as it is really uncomplicated. The scent is minimal, sort of a light a very weak smell of sun tan lotion, but i love suntan lotion haha! I will definitely purchase this as some point in the future.

Wow - this product really surprised me! For a long time I've been wondering why my skin looked so tired, stressed and lifeless. Who knew the answer was in a simple product like this. Now I know how celebrities/socialites get that glowing makeup-less look :D The key is moisture starting from the ground - up. Your facial cleanser CAN make a HUGE difference! Little water involved w/ this one so I guess it doesn't dry/strip your skin. Plus there are moisturizers in the cleanser...

I've finally found the right cleanser for me! I have normal to dry, older skin that's very sensitive. This stuff did not cause any blotchiness and was so mild that my skin felt just like my skin after the rinse! No tight feeling, just refreshed. I'll keep this one!

this an excellent milky cleanser for almost any type of skin, except maybe very oily. I have oily-combo skin and began using Kiehl's cleansing milk after I experienced irritation using cetaphil (probably from the sodium lauryl sulfate). I use this cleansing milk in the winter when my skin gets a little drier (it's too emollient for the summer, when I'm super-oily). It leaves my skin clean and soft, I've never had any breakouts from it (and I'm quite acne-prone) or any irritation whatsoever. It does a good job getting makeup off, too.

Switched to this when Cetaphil began stinging my skin (yes, you read that right.) So believe me, it's gentle. Great winter cleanser that gets off the makeup and pollution without stripping. Great for my dry skin, though I imagine for oily skin it would be a disaster.

I got this as a sample....I love it!! It doesn't pull the moisture from my face and leaves it so smooth and soft. I was reluctant to try it since it doesn't foam up...but I think I just found my new cleanser : )
