It's a good bronzer, it is not orange or muddy. I do find it slightly too dark for contouring on my winter pasty skin. Also not a huge fan of the shimmers in the bronzer. I thought it wouldn't contain any because so many people apparently use this to contour their face. Overall it's a pretty average bronzer but it's quite pricey.

I agree with many of the other reviews. It blends really nicely on my fair/cool undertone skin.
It's tough to find a contour color for fair skin that isn't too orange or dark. Nars Laguna is great - very natural, easy to blend, works well with my skintone.

I am not a fan of Nars packaging though. I can never travel with them - my nars blushes always end up cracked whenever I fly. (despite many efforts to protect/wrap/cushion them)

Will repurchase. (but the package is HUGE, so I am sure it will be years before I would need a new one!) A little pricey, but tons of product make it worth the price.

I'm fair skinned with a cool undertone. I find most bronzers either too dark, too orange, too shimmery or a combination of the three. However, this bronzer is none of those things. It looks natural on me. I can swipe it on the edges of my face for contour or over my high points to look like I've had a little color. I don't even buy other bronzers anymore. There's no reason to when this is all I need.

I have swatched this on my hand numerous times and was never blown away. That being said however, it is a whole different story on your face. It's not muddy at all (like I expected it to be), it blends beautifully and looks natural. I now know why this bronzer is so widely loved. I have a mini version that came in a sample kit from Sephora, but I will probably purchase the regular size when I run out.

This bronzer is amazing. I never cared for bronzer much before i bought this one and now I contour my cheekbones with this almost everyday. The colour gives a glow to the skin without looking orange. The packaging is lovely, the mirror in the compact comes in really handy, the case does get dirty which is why I've taken a lippy away. I'm just repeating what everyone else has said about this product now, I will buy this again because it's amazing. Only downside is the price, but totally worth it, I've had mine for 6 months now and I haven't hit pan yet.

Only bronzer I use and will always use this! Amazing product! Perfect for my fair skin tone! :-) I use under my cheek bones and also to bring a little warmth to my face! NO orange look, very natural! No shimmer! Perfect!

It works nicely for shading of my jaw line. It comes with a little shimmer but its not noticeable once I blend it out. However, this shade is too dark for nose shading, and the golden shimmer makes my face look tan and bronzey hence I do not like to use it on my face besides the jaw line. This compact can lasts me such a long time, I don;t see myself needing to buying it again in near future.

Absolutely love this product! Its the perfect colour for my skin tone, and it only has a few shimmers in it. I don't like products with a lot of shimmer. Unfortunately its quite expensive, but I have real trouble finding a decent bronzer so I didn't mind, and its going to last a while!

Nars Laguna just didn't work for me. I like nars products, the packaging, and even though expensive they last a long time. The color looks great in the pan and the powder is very silky and buildable. However, on my fair skin the color is off somehow I look very gold if you will and at the end of the day very slick and greasy eventhough I used primer and foundation. Also a big test for me is how it comes out in pictures and it did not look good. So I have gone back to my favorite bronzer at the moment Mac refined golden which I really like.

This is an absolute must have. I am very pale skinned and never really ventured into bronzers, they were something I was scared off. However I started to become more and more interested in make up, esp high end brands after watching several beauty gurus on youtube (namely Pixiwoo and Tanya Burr) and discovered the potential of contouring. I tried the contour method first with Macs Harmony and have to say I wasnt particularly bothered by it. I tried Nars Laguna after hearing loads of people rave about it. I gave in to the hype and bit the bullet and got it. I have used it every day mainly to contour and it generally adds a little warmth. It lasts for a very long time and the results are worth it. With daily use I am very happy with my purchase and for the price I can imagine I would have wasted that on bronzers for a cheaper price that I would have not been happy with. Very good product.

Respectfully, I have to disagree with the person who said that this bronzer is not for anyone over the age of 25. As people can see by my age category, I am way over the age of 25! I searched a very long time for the right bronzer and NARS Laguna was it!

So many bronzers have a red undertone or a yellow undertone. It was very frustrating to shop for the right bronzer and be disappointed time and again. But when I tried Laguna, I knew that this was the perfect bronzer for me. This is a true brown, with none of those undertones that can distort the color. It does have a slight shimmer. However, it's not like your face will light up like a Christmas tree. The rule is that you go with a matte bronzer, especially if you are older. Well, I tried many of the most well known ones and they did not look good on me. I don't even have the time or inclination to list all the bronzers I tried. Suffice to say that it would be a who's who of bronzers from the top makeup companies.

Bronzers can be too light or too dark. Some makeup companies only have two shades and neither one works. Some bronzers look orangey and fake. For my NW25 complexion, this bronzer is a perfect fit! It's just the right color. It goes on beautifully to give a natural bronzed look. I use it to contour my cheeks and then sweep it up over my temples, a little on the forehead and around the lower part of my face. The shimmer is so slight that it is barely noticeable. I combine it with my NARS Luster blush for a warm, radiant look.

The product lasts forever. Yes, it's expensive but you get a lot of product for your money and it will last a really long time. I think it's a great investment.

Yes, this costs a small fortune, but god is it worth it.

1. It lasts forerver. I've been using it for about three years and have only needed to replace mine twice. I used to go through about three Mac bronzers a year!

2. The packaging is to die for. Soo, soo nice and expensive looking. Love it.

3. It suits so many skin tones. I'm NW10 in winter and NW15-20 in Summer and it looks great year round. My good friend is Fillipina with much darker skin, and it's fab on her too.

I love this, def my HG bronzer.

I'm liking this product so far. I just recently started using it, and I like that it doesn't turn orange and it looks good and natural on my fair skin. I use this to contour my face even though it has a little bit of shimmer in it, because it's not noticeable at all. I am using it with the MAC 109 brush if anyone is curious. Will buy again... but hopefully at this price, it lasts me a long long time!

This is my HG bronzer! I am naturally tan throughout the year, just slightly paler in the winter. I can use it throughout the entire year, winter and summer, I just have to use a heavy or light hand. It doesn't make me look orange (finally) and it just gives me a natural sun kissed glow all year round. I can even use it to contour during the winter months, although I barely ever contour anyway. I love it and I will definitely repurchase this!

overall lovely bronzer for people with big face. so this color runs out in mecca australia, then i know it is a good stock. i dont know much on bronzer. but i recogn it is important to apply bronzer after foundation, contouring is very important to get your face more flattering. look at youtube user gossmakeupartists tutorial on contour, he is great. every one can makeup like kim kardasian using his tips.

I've always had a problem with bronzers being too orange or too muddy on me, having super dark hair and really pale skin. I was really unsure about purchasing this as my MAC matte bronze just made me look way too orange, so i ended up giving it away, however I got a selfridges gift card for my birthday and I thought I would take the plunge and buy it.
and I have to say I am very impressed. You can use this with a super light hand all over the face for a really healthy glow, there is some shimmer but your face isn't going to look like a disco ball when you go out in the sun. for a more heavier, contoured look, use this with a small dome brush (i like to use it with a real techniques contour brush) and concentrate it on the hollows of the cheek bones for a real nice colour.
the packaging is super sleek, I adore it. I don't really care about if it gets dirty. However I do think this is very expensive, I think I would be willing to pay 15-20 pounds for this but nethertheless I would buy it again and I highly recommend it for anyone, including people with super fair skin!

If my boyfriend and I ever break up, I'm running away with this bronzer. Could be better priced but I would buy it at whatever cost.
