The color is really pretty--and the SPF factor is a huge plus- but both can't save this product. The taste is absolutely NASTY! Ew! Texture is like greasy vaseline. Am grateful the Khiel's salesperson was so nice in giving me a sample of this because I would be mad if I'd bought it. Clinique Superbalm is still my fave for the beautiful tints and soft, balmy feel on lips.

This got one more lippie than my review for the No. 30G hue because the color for No. 58B looks beautiful on me (30G didn't really show up on my lips). Unfortunately, like No. 30G, this tastes and smells absolutely, stomach-wrenchingly, makes-me-want-to-gag, disgusting. What the heck is in this balm to make it smell and taste so nasty? Geez... Kiehl's, please reformulate!!

Received from a great swapper. Very pretty color, has a slight glossy shine and has SPF 15 but at USD 7.50, I'll stick to my Bonne Bell Lip Smacker's in Dr. Pepper which has the same color and shine for much cheaper.

URGH! This lip balm gave me the worst eczema around my mouth, causing peeling and redness that persisted for a week even though I only used it for 3 days. I'm certain that this is the product that caused it. I bought this lip balm twice (second time because I lost the first one) and both had given me the same allergic reaction (I didn't realize the first time that it was the cause of the reaction because I was using other new products at the same time). My friend who bought HUE #30G also had a similar reaction. Needless to say, I won't repurchase and will in fact ask Kiehls for money back.

This stuff smells like some grease that has been sitting around in a pan for awhile. Tastes gross too. Needless to say, would not buy again. The tint is ok (I got the berry tint....not sure what # because I don't use it and don't know where it is)!

Got this as a CP from a sweet swapper in the US, as this is not available in Malaysia. Absolutely love it. Nice texture and colour. Kept my very dry lips moist but not sticky. And for USD7.50, it's certainly a lot cheaper than my current fave Prescriptives Tint Balm SPF15.

Pretty color but mediocre product. Paula pointed out it has inadequate uva sun protection in her newsletter and that concerns me as it claims it's uva and uvb. Also, expected more in terms of texture. Mine has a very subtle grit to the texture and is not as smooth as their colorless balm which inmho is much better for softening. Good but it didn't blow me away. Plus sensitive skinned gals watch out. I found it to be a bit irritating.

This is not a very good lip balm, but it's an excellent lip color. Put it on over lip balm and enjoy the sheer flush it lends your lips.

Not a bad product. Not particularly great, either. But this is basically tinted vaseline. (Tint is very slight -- pinky apricot.) The only major plus is the SPF 15. But I prefer plain old Chapstick with SPF as a lip base.

This is a great tinted balm. The texture is different from the original lipbalm. It's not as slippery. But I love it anyways! The color is a wine-ish color that goes on really sheer (it looks like a YLBB shade). So beautiful!

Oh why oh why didn't I read the reviews before I purchased?
likes: color, non-sticky, made my lips soft, color distributes well, better than the other Hue (30G?), its in a tube with an angled head, no real smell. does soften lips faster than smiths rosebud salve, both regular & strawberry
dislikes: flavor, will it cost that much more to put a little flavor to it? but at least it didn't taste like Hue 30G, YUCK! color fades, rather expensive really. feels medicinal because it didn't have any of the extras like smell and taste
.5 oz(14g)- 15ml
saks.com paid around $5 (sale)

i actually totally love this product. i have trouble getting to barneys too often, so i always buy 2 or 3 at once. but this is probably because it wears off pretty quickly, so i reapply a lot, and i run out sort of quickly. but this is still one of my favorites! i love the smell- i think cus im used to it from the kiehl's #1 balm. i think it is not so long lasting cus it's mostly petroleum, which everyone hates i know, but the color is AWESOME and i love the texture; it's not heavy at all and looks so natural. and i just dont mind reapplying. it makes me look natural and healthy. the price is just great- so with the spf (dont' forget to protect your lips) i'm a fan for life.

Ugh, the smell is horrendous. As it was on my lips, the only way to get rid of it was to take off the lipgloss. Although it's a nice berry shade, the smell is entirely disgusting.

I received this as a gift for Christmas and I've been using it just about every day since. I love the sheer tint, which is just a shade deeper than my own lip colour. The formula is so much better than any other chapstick or lipbalm I've ever tried before. It just melts right into your lips. It has an odd scent that I can't describe (reminds me of Play-doh), but once I apply it, I can't smell it anymore. I will definitely purchase this for myself once I run out.

I love the color of this balm, I just hate the balm itself. Ick, I think it makes my lips more chapped when I wear it.

I wanted this for a while and I finally made it to a kiehl's store this week and bought one. I love most other products I have purchased at kiehl's but I was somewhat disappointed with this. I LOVE the color, a perfect reddish tint (almost orangeish/pinkish too, i would call it warm.) But it is not very thick or moisturizing and it feels so greasy. it seems to just evaporate from your lips leaving them dried out. I would probably buy it again (in regular or the other hue), but it's definitely not that special.

I liked the color but it did not last on me. Also, I don't like lip balm that you have to put on in front of a mirror! The color just slides around everywhere and the smell is just nasty! I would not repurchase this at all...

There was so much hype with this product when it came out but it was a great dissapointment for me. The color is fine and the texture too, but it just doesn't last. It lasted less than half hour and I had to re-apply constantly to leave my lips moistured. The slanted applicator is also not large enough making it harder to apply without using one's finger. The price is also very expensive. Would not buy again. Perhaps will buy Bobbi Brown.

I don't see what all the fuss is about this product. I was so excited to get it in the mail!
I applied it...loved how it was tinted just right for my super pale lips..but noticed it did nothing to heal my lips.
Actually, I think it is drying my lips out. My lips are burning right now...is it from the balm or just because they are so chapped and this doesnt do anything for it.
Definitely NOT worth the 12$ I spent. (7$ plus 5$ for shipping)
Waste of money!
