I've used the Powerpoints in Industry and Permaplum for years, but now I just can't justify spending the money on them when there are many comparable eyeliners out there for half the price or less. The Prestige waterproof pencils are almost as good, and as far as staying power goes Revlon's Colorstays last longer and apply just as well. There are some things I have no problem shelling out money for - face powders, eyeshadows, which I can tell when they are finely milled and highly pigmented. But as far as pencil eyeliners go, frankly the Powerpoints just aren't any smoother or highly pimented than the two drugstore brands I mentioned, for instance, nor do I find that they have that much staying power. As far as pencil liners go these are good pencils, just not worth the price, which is why I give them a 3.

And thanks to the MUA reviewers for letting me know about Prestige and Revlon - I would've continued to shell out the money for these Powerpoints if I hadn't read the reviews here and tried out others!

Love this stuff!!! Doesn't smudge when I apply Urban Decay Primer Potion prior to application and lasts and lasts. I use this on my waterline with either MAC's fluidline or L'Oreal's HIP cream eyeliner on my top lids. It makes my eyes look bigger and brighter. I've been using the Powerpoint eyeliners for years now with no problems.

Have this in bountiful brown and love the color. It stays on for a loooong time, never had trouble with smudging or fading. Makes my eyes pop during the daytime. I only use this during the daytime though. I find using fluidlines add more drama for nighttime.

I have finally found an eyeliner that will stay on my eyes all day. I have been searching for years for eye makeup that won't give me racoon eyes at the end of the day. I was constantly using corrector under my eyes to cover the smudges. Well, my troubles are over..Powerpoint eyeliner stays on my eyes and never smudges. It's like cement. It glides on smoothly and then it dries within seconds. I also use the waterproof MAC blacksplash. Between the 2 products I never have to worry about my eyes running again. They stay perfect all day. Yeah!

After working for the company for a few years, along with several others....and in the industry, and reading some reviews thought that I would leave a few general comments that will help aide some of the feedback. In no way shape or form am I spokesperson for any of the companies products that I review....

I would say that this product is at best okay. Wears pretty well. Glides on smoothly. However, I do get some running from time to time. More time than others. Moves easily when I need it too.

I like this eyeliner for the most part....One of the best that I have used But a company called make up forever has a line of eyeliners called Aqua eyes or something like that. Those things are the greatest thing to happen to eyeliner ever. They dont move or run and come off easily with some type of eye make up remover. So if you get a chance try them out the are a little expensive....$17 but they stay. They are available at stores like sephora. They also have a site.

These are the only eyeliners I wear. I wear my liner on the waterline and even though the SA's always tell me Eye Kohl is the one they recommend, those fade and smear whereas these stay put. Lasts all day without reapplying. Wish they'd make more colors, but still, I won't risk wearing anything else.

This is my HG of eyeliners! I have 5 different colors so far and I can't wait to get more! I can't say enough good things about the Powerpoint eyeliners. What I like the best is they don't smudge AT ALL! I have very oily skin and eyeliner always smudges under my eyes, but not this one! Also they are super smooth and creamy to put on so there is no tugging at all. What can I say...I LOVE MAC POWERPOINT!

it's pretty good. i purchased 'buried treasure', and i love it---dark brown with subtle sparkle. but it doesn't last as long as i hoped it would and it's not smudge-proof.

the consistency of the pencil is very nice. it's creamy, glides on smoothly, and offers good control. on the flip side, it wears away very quickly and i find myself having to re-sharpen often. as a result, a single pencil won't last you very long.

I am a lover of any kind of purple eye products and the MAC Power Point eyeliner in Bordeauxline is by far the best I have ever had. It is a wonderful deep purple and is easy to apply and is not a weird shade making it hard to match with other colors, I wear it with tans, black, blue, yellow and even pinks. It is an amazing color, I'm already on my second pencil!

Best eyeliner i've ever use. Can wear all day with no smudges, I love it! It is a little expensive, but to me, it's worth it not to have racoon eyes

You guys are kidding me right? Only 67% would buy again? Sad. These are by far the best, longest lasting most pigmented eyeliners out there (and yes I've tried many, including UD's). I come back to these again and again for the ease of application and the fact that they wear like iron, easily as good as a liquid or gel. The trick is to sharpen before use and let them "set" a moment if you want a straight line, or smudge them immediately for a smokier effect. Engraved and Buried Treasure are two of my favorite liners ever. I only wish MAC made these in a few more vivid colors (Teal anyone?) but it's a small complaint compared to how great these are overall.

Ehh, I would say save your money. I bought this eye pencil in Engraved. It was my first ever Mac eyeliner. I think I should have saved my money. Urban Decay makes a GREAT eyeliner, called 24/7 glide-on pencil. I would say go with that, in any color. Trust me, this wasn't worth the money. It wears off easily, and it isn't creamy at all. It's actually hard to put on. This morning, I took a lighter to it(to try and make it a little softer), and that helped a little, but Urban Decay's is better. Don't buy this!

I really like the Powerpoint Eyeliners. The color glides on, is richly pigmented and stays put. I don't use a primer, and I don't have smudges or fading with this eyeliner (at least for about 6-8 hours). Maybe the color would last even longer with primer. I have Permaplum, which is great for making my greenish- blue eyes really stand out but not look too harsh, and Bountiful Brown, which is a lovely brownish-bronze, and is wonderful for the summer. I'll be developing a collection of these.

I got this in Navy Stain. Personally I don't think this eyeliner is all that good. And I seriously doubt that it's waterproof. I have oily lids and after a while it kinda disappears. Plus it's not really visible and I find it hard to use on my lower lids. The only good thing is that it isn't too costly and it comes in a wide range of colours.

This is by far my favourite eyeliner. I have it in about 6 colours. I like to use them as a smudgy colour eyeshadow as well as an eyeliner. The colours and great and they are really easy to blend. My favourite is tarnished which is a dark gold. I like to line the whole way around my eye with that one and it looks amazing. Definitley recommend this one!

I love, love these eyeliners, even more than fluidlines!! My favorite is Stubborn Brown. They last all day on my lower and upper lashline (I have to use UDPP, but I have to use this no matter what brand I use, except usually the other brands smear and smudge even with using UDPP). I will definitely buy again!! HG Status!!!
