This product is more adapted for someone with medium or dark complexion. My skin is very fair and the shade is too dark for me.I also think that the texture is a little bit heavy, and more suitable for normal/dry skin types.I wouldn't repurchase.

I have recently started using this product and have to say that it is the best tinted moisturiser I've tried. I have normal/slightly combination skin and use it over my dermalogica Active Moist (after leaving plenty of time for the Active moist to sink in) and it gives a lovely even and dewy look to my skin. The trick is to not overload your skin with it - just build it up slowly until you get the result you want. It lasts all day as well - especially if I dust a small amount of Estee Lauder Aeromatte translucent powder on top. I'll definitely buy it again.

I'll just finish mine , but I dont think I'll buy it again .
it's non that wow impressing .. yet I give it credit for not being that bad ..
good moisturizing , spf protection adequate enough ,
color matching was okay for me but since there's no much choices of shades , I guess it might be a problem to fair skinned people .
one large draw back actually .. that it shines obviously !
it seems abit greasy on the face .

totally not worth the money.

This product caught my attention because of the interesting SPF ingredients and also the fact that it comes out of the container as a pale milky product (greenish white with dark specks in it) but once smoothed on the skin it turns into 'your shade' of tint. I cannot recommend this for anyone but medium to darker complexions. I am an NW20-23. At first smoothing as the color change effect began, I was excited to see that it would indeed be a perfect match! But wait! It's getting a tad darker! Not a TAD darker, even more dark! Muddy dark! Opaque dark! Darker now! I showed the SA what had happened and she said to me that if I blended it in better, it would match. I wiped it off with a tissue and showed it to her, she was uninterested. She wanted a sale, and that was that!

It would be an excellent product for someone who can get a match, but it would be even nicer if Lauder could come out with more shades. I like Lauder products but I can't use this one.

I liked this product before it made me break out. I also noticed that you need to make sure that you apply it evenly. If you're fair skinned, like me, it can streak.
The smell isn't too terrible. I usually stay away from Lauder products because they're always full of fragrance, like the products my Grandmother uses.
Overall.. it's OK. Wouldn't purchase again.

This product made my skin (I tan well and bronze well in general) look really pretty. However, I am prone to breaking out lately and I am 24 yrs. old. It definitly made me start to break out. It sucked because it looked pretty before I got zits everywhere. If you are prone to breakig out, DO NOT use this product, and BEWARE....it may take a week or two to start to break you out.

I think they changed the formula from it's original. I bought this when it first came out and had high hopes. I liked it, but it tended to be a bit too dewy looking on my combo skin and the tint was a little strong/bronze which was OK, accept I try to apply sunscreen liberally and that was hard to do without winding up looking too false bronze. I recently repurchased and was so surprised the finish was much softer, with a slightly 'soft-focus' effect like some of the other new EL moisturizers and Perfectionist. And the bronze tint also seems much more subtle than before. I can very much see that this won't work for all skin tones and might make some pale tones look a little 'dirty faced'. But on my medium skin it works beautifully. I'm not sure this is an 'everyday' product for everyone but it sure is nice to cover the SPF with some great antioxidants and a quick tint when I'm on the go or just doing some quick weekend errands. Like the opaque tube packaging. Always a plus.

I haven't used a tinted lotion for so long and when the SA put this on my hand I liked it. But when I put this on my light skin, it made my skin look very dirty. Not bronzy look, but "I need a bath" kind of dirty. I wouldn't repurchase.

Love the colour and the texture (i have dry skin, and this one takes good care of it) Unfortunately it makes me allergic....like when you are allergic to grass or something. My face gets swollen and my eyes red and puffy. Maybe itīs because of the Avobenzone, used here as the main sunscreen ingredients? I donīt know, but I havenīt used it since I got the allergic reaction....I had to leave work, that bad it was :-(

This is the only tinted moisturizer that I know of that contains avobenzone. I've been searching forever for one that won't break me out, but most contain zinc oxide which clogs my pores terribly. It's been almost 3 weeks and this has not caused any breakouts. The tint is just a tad too dark for me. I solved that problem by mixing it with my PC spf 15 which coincidentally contain the same sunscreen ingedients. It also helps me be confident that I've applied enough product to get the spf 15. It also helps the Daywear last longer, since at almost $40, this is a big splurge for me. Mixing the products gives me a nice healthy glow, and evens out the redness from my allergies. I think my search is over! UPDATE: The SPF is supposedly not stable so I haven't been using it during the day lately, but I still mix it with moisturizer when I want a sheer look for evening.

I have quite dry skin but this is moisturizing enough for me. The tint is really sheer but you see the difference! My skin looks even after I put it on. I don't need foundation if I use this. But then again, I have generally healthy skin. :)

I like this for when I need some extra color- I am very light olive and this gives me a glow. I put powder on top at times to tone down the color or the shine. I like my skin to look real so shine usually does not concern me. One problem with this is the fragrance, which I do like, but can still be overwhelmed by using on my whole face. Also, the tint can be scraped off if I touch my face in the summer heat, which also is a drawback of foundation in the summer, I know! I wonder how long this will be around as they discontinued my Lightsource, which I loved!

I tried both this and the regular DayWear with SPF and neither of them worked for me. This I received as a sample when I bought the regular version. Both made me very shiny by noon. This one made me look like I had a dirty face right away. I wore it on a Saturday (doing the no-makeup thing is appealing on weekends) and I just looked muddy. I washed it all off at lunch and fortunately it doesn't stain the skin--it is only surface color. Whew! This was such a cool idea, but very bad for my combo skin. If they could come up with something that was very light, mattifing, contained SPF and antioxidents, with a pale bronzer instead of medium I swear I would be first in line to shell out the bucks for it!

I found this to be a great moisturizer w/ good SPF for combination-dry skin. Nicely scented as well (cucumber, I believe). Don't pile it on if you are pale, however, as tint may make you look radioactive. Overall a nice product.

Age: 25-29   Skin: Dry, Fair   Hair: Brown, Wavy, Medium   Eyes: Brown

This is a pretty decent spf 15 moisturizer except for the gimmicky factor: the lotion starts out pale white-green with speckles, but upon blending, "transforms" into a sheer tint of color. Don't be fooled--the color change is not due to some high-tech formulation but encapsulated color capsules that are embarrassingly visible to the eye as speckles. It's very obvious and a very low-tech trick.

Not only that but EL purports the tint as "for all skintones" when it is only good for medium toned skins. I'm a MAC NC30 and it made me look dirty and brown in a bad way, not the good "sunkissed" way. Bad color match. I ended up washing this off my face.

Other than the fake cucumber fragrance that many companies use to mask the SPF odor, the formula itself applies easily and dries down to a smooth finish without residual or heavy feeling.

Since this product's tint makes it so limiting and such a deprecating way to see how far the consumer will be wowed by a low-tech "color change", i don't recommend it.

When Estee came out with the Daywear Plus formulation with a sheer tint, I know I must try it as I'm always on the lookout for a good tinted moisturizer that offers sufficient protection against the harsh UV rays. The sheer tint suited my MMM skin quite well and it doesn't break me out even in the humid climate here. All in all, the formulation is close to faultless although I wouldn't mind it being cheaper. Nonetheless, I would like to try other tinted moisturizers with sunscreen when I'm through with this.

Not good for my combo skin and humid climate- color didn't look natural or offer any real boost to the look of my skin, face stayed sticky and not "finished," and it smelled weird.

This needs to come in more than one shade. It is too dark for my FFF skin. That is the ONLY thing keeping me from this stuff, I love my regular daywear lotion, I would have loved this stuff in a color right for my skin.

I like the way this smells and the way it turns from green to tan, but it leaves the oily part of my face, well, oily. I think it would work well on normal to dry though.

I have tried several tinted moisterizers and I am obviously still looking. I felt like I resembled an umpa-loopa(sp) from willy wonka's chocolate factory- my face has this weird dirty look! I have fair skin so to be fair maybe that was the problem. Pretty pricey for such a small bottle too!
