i much prefer opi's nail polishes over mac's. opi has a much larger variety of shades to choose from (sorry mac, but i don't think that bright orange nails would really fly at my office), lasts longer, and is much cheaper.

Overall I was not satisfied with the quality of MAC polishes. I tried Frolick and although it did not chip as fast as some, it chipped faster than OPI. So no sense paying the same amount when there is better polishes out there. I also found the shades to be a little on the wild side and shimmery!

I bought one MAC n/p once, I believe it was Dubonnet, and was extrememly disappointed with it! The color selection is horrible and the polish chips almost immediately and does not last longer than two days. I hate to say this about MAC but stay away from the n/p's, they're awful!

I didnt notice a big problem with chipping. They have some really nice funky colors too. I have in Carnal, Dream, Ammunition, and Frolick and love them all!!

I agree with JT14 -- they don't last well, the chipping is atrocious. However, I still buy them because I love the colours. Relic has to be my all-time favourite natural (yet shimmery) colour.

I bought this in Tilt and though they really dont have a lot of subtle colours, they do have tons of colours to choose from. The price is comparable to most high end nail polishes... and it does last a fair bit with excessive chipping. I would recommend it if you want some really great funky colours for a good quality item.

Good nail color, you have to put on two coats for good coverage though. Nice shades, very fun and creative.

Great stuff, love it. So many colors to choose from, and they have very unusual shades. My Dad even lets me paint his toenails with this stuff :)

Great color selection! Chips way too fast. I prefer OPI. MAC charges too much for poor quality.

I have this polish in Yum-Yam, a very bright yellow. I had it put on my toes and I have gotten so many compliments on it. It's very creamy and brightly colored. Just how it looked in the bottle right on my toes. Great nailpolish.

i have this polish in 'stellar', a shimmery opalescent transparent lilac. it's soo pretty, i've been looking for a colour like that a long time, and i found it a few months ago. the price was $8, which i found to be sort of reasonable (compared to hard candy-$12 or UD-$10) and the staying power was reasonable, it didn't chip that much. i would purchase again in a different colour, considering i wont run out of this one.

MAC Nail Polishes are some of the best in the market. They don't get the recognition they deserve. Often over-shadowed by the likes of OPI, these nail polishes are much better than all the competition, in my opinion. They are long-lasting and fast drying. They are also heavily pigmented and the color selection is superb. Tip: Try some of the funkier colors like Tilt and Stellar- fun and eye-catching.
