This product is AMAZING. I have wasted money on so many hair oils and leave in conditioners to tame my dry, damaged, and tangled hair and this was it. I can honestly run my fingers through my hair and barely feel any knots. It isn't greasy for my hair but I guess it's because I don't use that much. But be careful when pouring it out because a little squeeze can give you a little too much oil.

This stuff is awesome! Years ago, John Frieda used to make a Beach Blonde oil that I swore by for making bleached hair look shiny and smooth. When they discontinued it, I thought I was out of luck. I randomly picked this stuff up on a whim after bleaching my hair. Very inexpensive. I color and highlight my hair, and my highlights in particular always lack shine and look dull and dry. Applying just a TINY drop of this stuff to dry hair immediately brightens it up and smooths down flyaways. I can already tell I will have a million uses for this little wonder product.

I LOVE this stuff. I am a huge Moroccanoil fan, but was looking for something cheaper because I use it all the time to soften the dry ends of my hair. I considered a few other brands before settling on Garnier, because their products rarely let me down. This definitely exceeded my expectations! After I wash my hair I blow-dry it about halfway dry, then apply the oil everywhere except my roots. I let it air dry the rest of the way and it is super soft, very close to the results I get with Moroccanoil. I find the smell to be similar to Moroccanoil, but it fades quickly so if you don't like scents, not a big deal.
I will definitely buy this product again! Especially if I apply before straightening, my hair is soft, shiny, no frizz, and it holds its shape for days! Rating a 5 because it exceeds my expectations for a drugstore product, I can't complain. Will definitely repurchase.

I was so excited about this stuff, I used it the second I got back from the store! Applied to dry hair, this stuff is amazing!! It does absolutely everything it says it will. My hair was instantly super shiny and sleek. The difference was sooo noticeable. It was not greasy at all. I took off one lippie because I don't like the smell, which is sort of pungent/earthy. However, when mixed with conditioner in the shower, it didn't reduce my frizziness at all and actually seemed to tangle my hair a little more (although it did prevent my hair from falling out in the shower).

Works just as well as my Josie maran argan oil and its cheaper. (I picked this up for less than $5 at my local target).

A little definitely goes a long way. I put a tiny amount through my hair when it's damp and then I blow dry. I also love using this to tame my frizzy ends after I style my hair. This oil is Lightweight and I love the scent.... Kinda nutty with a hint of vanilla? Def would repurchase this product.

I bought this product to hopefully tame my hair because whenever I curl my hair, it gets frizzy and there are a lot of flyaways. It bugs me so much because it just makes my hair look rushed and not very put together, if you know what I mean... I have been using this for a week, mixing it with my conditioner and applying some to the ends of my wet hair after I get out of the shower. It definitely has made my hair softer, but it really makes my hair frizz. Even when I don't curl my hair, it frizzes up and it's really frustrating. I think this product did what it was made not to do. I'm really bummed that this didn't work out for me and made my hair even worse.

My hair is halfway down my back, having not been cut in three years. I've got a lot of hair, but it's fine in texture. I have something of a dry/split end problem; yeah, I could use a trim, but that hasn't happened yet (and I HATE the whole haircut experience), so when I saw this at Rite Aid I figured I'd try it, just to see if it would tame the dry ends a bit.

And, boy, DOES IT EVER. I was absolutely amazed. I use a quarter-sized dollop of it and work it through my damp hair after washing. I air-dry my hair and it ends up sleek and healthy-looking. I used to have oily hair (not so much now that I've aged some) and even two days later my hair looks just as good as it did the first day, with no oil slick at the roots. I've waited a long time for something affordable which would serve me half as well as this stuff, and now that I've found something better than I expected I will buy it as long as they make it. Complete HG!

I love this product so far. I've used it for a week, so about 6 times so far and it's great. I've got really long dark hair. It's normal thickness, but I get really oily roots and dry ends. I've colored it many many times so the ends are pretty crunchy. This is the first time in a long time that I was able to comb my hair right out of the shower! Before, I tried all sorts of deep conditioners, treatment conditioners, and they would work sort of, but I wouldn't get that soft, manageable and I couldn't detangle my hair when it was wet...so I couldnt use a brush to dry it and that made it even more frizzy.

Another product that I love that has similar results to this is the Cleansing Conditioner by Lisa Rachel...I absolutely love it. However, I wanted to try this oil treatment because the Lisa Rachel product is a bit expensive, I can't find it in stores, and in order to get that soft amazing hair you have to use a lot of conditioner!

With this oil treatment, I still use regular conditioner for dry hair, but only on the pony tail (the part of the hair longer than my shoulders), but I only put a bit, then I add some water, squeeze it out and put a tiny bit of the oil. Then I use a shower comb to distribute it and rinse it out pretty well.

It comes out really soft and I haven't noticed oily residue. When the hair is still wet you can notice that it's a bit oily, but that's because this product is oil...but after you dry it, it's completely soft, non sticky or anything like that. Don't use it on your scalp if you have oily roots.

The reason I took off a point for the overall rating is because the bottle is pretty small and it cost over $5 (on sale). But because of the great results I'm definitely buying this again even at full price.

I highly recommend it!

I normally hate silicones, but this serum has somewhat won me over. My friend suggested this to me over the summer, saying that it made her thick, straight hair a lot softer, shinier etc. Of course, I knew this was just the silicones, and she has the kind of hair where she can use anything, and I don't...but I picked up a bottle anyway. The first few times I used this, I was not impressed. My coarse, dry, curly hair was still frizzy and really poofy and had funky waves--this didn't help straighten it out at all.
I went to the salon a couple weeks ago and the stylist used Moroccanoil (not the real deal, some other brand) on my hair and my hair was pin-straight and perfect for days. Hence I decided to break this out again in the hopes that it would work. And it does! Not as well, but very close.
I apply about two or three pumps of this on towel-dried hair after using Evercreme Intense Nourishing Shampoo, V05 Blackberry Sage Conditioner, and Tresemme Nourishing Moisture Conditioner. This has helped to give my hair really nice shine and slip and to straighten it out a bit. I usually let it air dry about halfway and then braid it. This also makes my hair super pretty if I put it in pin curls instead of a braid and take them out in the morning. This isn't something I want to use often--just when heat styling, or when I need reliably good hair--but this is a really good, most importantly non-greasy alternative to my standby coconut oil.
Pros: makes hair shiny, soft, straighter, detangles, defrizzes
Cons: the product sometimes shoots right out of the bottle onto you, the counter, whatever; the scent's too...powdery...for my taste; full of silicones so it isn't really healing my hair, just masking damage.
I'll use this when heat styling.

Smells great! I can't really say that it makes my hair much softer, but I use it in my daughter's hair (she's biracial) and it really holds her curls together nicely. When I use it in my hair, it def dries faster. Not a bad product, especially for the price.

I bought this because of all the wonderful reviews on here. First, its very cheap for a product that works! I got it for $3 at walmart. It's not a very big bottle but you don't need to use a lot because a little goes a long ways. I use it after my morning shower when my hair is still a little damp and put a little less than a dime sized amount for my thin, 4-5 inches below my shoulder length hair and when its dry you can see and feel a difference! I used a drop or two after i straightened my hair as well and it made it a lot softer. This is my new HG and i would definitely recommend it!

This is my do-all, all-purpose HG hair product that has yet to disappoint me.
When I had florescent hair that I can only call raspberry-colored, I needed something lightweight to condition my hair so it wouldn't dry out after bleaching it from black to blonde then subjecting it to further torture by applying pink and red onto that. I used the Garnier Weightless Anti-Frizz serum but it seemed a tad too heavy for my finer hair some days in the Houston heat. I bought this when I saw the good reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I used this alone after I showered and it worked great, softening my hair and eliminating a lot of frizz. I ended up combining it with the serum and all of my frizz was virtually gone and my hair was soft as silk. With my pixie cut, I barely use a dimes-size worth but I can tell the difference when I don't use it.

When I moved back to Oregon, I bleached my hair and dyed it a light brown leaving it even more fried.
I started adding a tad of this to my conditioner in the shower and my hair feels and looks like normal healthy hair thanks to this stuff. Since Oregon has virtually no humidity, I started using this without adding any serum and my hair looks great.
The smell is very light so it doesn't bother me. I think I paid like $4 for it and it's lasted me at least five months so I say for the price, it's definitely worth it.

For reference, I am very persnickity when it comes to hair oils. In my current routine are: Caudalie Divine Oil, BB Hair Oil, and Chi Silk Infusion.

I do sort of get the hype on this: it's dirt cheap, it's easily found, and for the most part, it gets the job done.

BUT: I found it takes a heck of a lot of this product to "get the job done". And in the meantime, you could have spent a bit more on another drugstore product that works better, with less product waste.

Enter Organix Moroccan Dry Oil Spray. It's around $8, but a little goes a long way and it smells just as nice. When I'm traveling and don't want to cart expensive stuff, this also doubles as a nice dry oil body spray after the shower.

Packed up the straightener and stopped buying hairdyes as I decided it was time to take care of my dead, extremely curly hair. This, along with Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle, has made my hair soooo soft. After the shower, I brush my hair out and apply a generous amount to my ends, and then what is ever left over to my bangs. I try to stay away from my roots to prevent oiliness, but I have to get my bangs as I've bleached them before. LOVE THIS!

I must have died and gone to drug store heaven! This oil is better than 95% of the high end styling oils that I've tried.
I use a small amount before blow drying and a wee bit after. This is the only oil that doesn't get greasy when I use it on dry hair. I have also noticed that this oil controls fly aways better than any product I have ever used. Hey... for $4.99, this is a hell of a good alternative to expensive Salon oils.

Finally, Garnier stepped up for me with a winner! My hair has shine, highlights glow and it holds a beautiful curl! Who knew what I needed was to seal in moisture. This is MAGIC in a bottle and so cheap( under $3.00 Cnd). Used it on dry hair, bun overnight and wham, salon hair in a second.

I LOVE this product! It's very light, makes my hair soft, and leaves me with no frizz. It's inexpensive, and smells great. The only thing I would change, is I would put a pump on it. The cap that's on it gets messy pretty easily, and it's easy to squirt out too much product. I use it when my hair is damp and dry, I haven't tried to use it with conditioner in the shower.

My hair was sooo silky ad i didnt even need to flat iron! i find my self not even using heat any more and the health of my hair is great because of this. this is also a great oil to put o your hair a few minutes before flatironing it leaves your hair super straight. I have coarse, frizzy, color treated, naturally wavy, think hair.... the worst kind! I have tried numerous "oil" treatments and so far this is the best, not only cost wise, but the product itself leaves my hair soft, smooth (not greasy) and very manageable for at least 3 days. A little goes a long way. I use it on damp hair and it really smooths the hair when using a blow dryer, then I put a little on mid-way through the ends after drying and it keeps hair frizz free and shiny!!
